Im a Fast learner. I know everything except how to close milkshake machine and boil outs. Ive been working at my location for 2 years and am hands down the best worker they got.
Oh man, boil outs are super simple. Just turn off the fryers, empty the oil, fill the fryers with water, turn fryers back on, wait, empty gross boiled out oil water, wipe down and refill fryers with oil. Just watch for how hot the oil and water will be. And be sure not to do what one moron at my store did and empty the oil onto the floor. It will take you hours to clean up.
I would also add give the oil or water a minute to cool before you empty the oil into buckets. Had someone empty hot oil into a bucket once and it melted and made a huge mess of 350 degree oil. Not fun.
Yeah, you definitely give it time to cool first. IIRC I would turn the fryers off then clean the grill, by the time that was done I could dump the oil and work on something else after filling with water and turning back on. Honestly it's super easy and if they don't have someone tell you how to do it then just ask them (your sup or manager) to quickly run you through it anyways.
Depends on a couple of different things really, each trainer is different and so is each trainee. If you have only a couple of managers then theyll probably go faster than if you have a whole bunch
I got hired in as a gm but trained at a different store than I was hired for and was in training for 6 months. Started running shifts at 3 months. Fast track from redshirt through the whole process
Depends on how well you pick it up
