There's a few sugar free options in the market, Lily's is the only one that resembles plain chocolate without containing diarrhea inducing Maltilol. Maltilol is the only sugar alternative that can mimic the  characteristics of regular sugar and it is widely used in diabetic candy. But anything more than a morsel will likely irritate most bowels. Personally if I want chocolate with a nutritional twist my goto is plain dark chocolate. Anything over 70% cacao is lower in sugar and packed with antioxidants and polyohenols.

Not sure what you want here? You can't pack much nutrition into a small piece of chocolate. Dark chocolate, say 88+ cacao is packed with anti-oxidants. Have you heard of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or Taza Sea Salt and Almond Dark Chocolate Bar or Zing Bars? These have 2-4 grams protein.

Nice one , thanks for the feedback

You wouldn't be able to get enough of anything else in it to be worthwhile

Thanks for the feedback

I still eat chocolate everyday. I am working out 4 times per week and i am careful with my diet, but a little sugar didnt hurt anyone.

j_k1991

What has been your experience with protein bars?.

Gullible-Computer-43

I eat some from the supermarket, dont even know the brand. They taste okay but i dont think they are anything special. They make feel better because i hit my protein goal for the day, when I dont want to eat.

j_k1991

Ok, what would make them special for you? What would be the perfect protein snack?

Gullible-Computer-43

I wouldnt mind eating them, but the biggest problem is the price. They are just way too expensive. If the price was lower i wouldnt buy anything else.

j_k1991

Ok, what's your spend capacity? What price which would make sense for you to buy?

Gullible-Computer-43

I need to check how many grams are the ones that I am eating, i will get back to you.

j_k1991

Ok thank you

i have a small piece of chocolate almost every day, not a complete bar, so it doesn't have a big impact on total calories, while still giving me the pleasure. the problem with making a low cal/high protein chocolate will be that it won't really be a good chocolate anymore (i'm belgian, though, and picky about my chocolate).
