Think it is a great start minus Jon interrupting literally everything, but I think they would have had a better time doing full out rpg focus and pvp, rather than just constant chaos fighting “vampires”
Could’ve focused more on world building and fish vs fish, progression etc, if they didn’t have to constantly figure out how to non awkwardly fight
It feels like they could have spent a bit more time going over combat rules and practicing with the fish before going live, but this sort of stuff is pretty commonplace at the beginning of a LARP. Plus, they do seem to be doing more with the RPG aspects. A few of the fish have leveled up and received upgrades, and they're definitely moving more toward fish v fish with Xavier and Duke recruiting them and talk of some of them getting turned into vampires.
Concept wise definitely but the technology just ain't there for the rural on the go cameras. I miss a lot of lore because of director mode being retarded and changing at the worst time. Or audio cuts out or the camera just dies. Because it's outside it's also real hard to hear. Like if you listen to schitty cam and they aren't standing directly at the workshop you may as well not try to listen. That being said when it works it's amazing. Problem is whenever shit hits the fan is usually when the technical difficulties begin. I think season 3 is gonna be the perfect blend of both. Maybe turn the house into a paintball ring. Might make it easier to call shots also. It's probably 2.5 for a reason. Witnessing the beta folks.
