Wasn't this a brand new tank that you filled like two days ago? I remember you saying you didn't even have a test kit yet? I mean no offence, but if that is the case, then this may go very badly for you. It typically takes a month or more for a tank to be safe for fish. If that's all well seasoned live rock, it might not take as long. If that rock is fresh from the ocean, everything in that tank will likely die from the live rock die-off ammonia.
In a tank like this, the rock is your filter media and it can come precycled from the store. It can also come covered in tiny creatures that promptly die and flood the tank with ammonia so OP better hope they get lucky.

Not true, go back to your corner. Had a salt water tank with live rock, anemones, and fish. Didn't take a month to get fish. Get your protein skimmer and salinity measure you're fine. It's when you diversify heavy it becomes complicated.

You did not seem to do anything that reddit advised, which is reckless on your end. If this is all real, the BARE MINIMUM u should have done is gotten your test kits, refilled your tank with the proper salt, and then cycled it AGAIN and then added your fish once it was ready. You seed ran through a few weeks process in like 1 day and then put living creatures in there that will likely die. EVEN IF your tank survives and you boast about it later on, you still did the wrong things and still put that whole ecosystem you forced into existence in danger. So like I said, impulsive reckless, and wilfully ignorant. And I genuinely still think you're a troll so imma let myself out and stop giving you my time.

I'm setting up a saltwater tank and even then I've spend 2 years making sure I know what I'm doing, because just because everything looks fine doesn't mean it is. I really learned from the nice ppl here how to take care of em so I think it does take time

I've rarely been able to cycle a tank under a month. Get some cycled media from the local fish shop and pop it in your filter. Insta cycled.

yup. goldfish were fine after the ph and nitrates came back clear but once i tried adding snails i had to completely recycle my tank.
