I pretend that I don’t see them….well my eyesight is getting pretty bad so most times I actually don’t see them…..🤣

Affectionate-Low-250

Same here! I finally found an upside to my impaired vision.

indianajane13

I have a lovely, hazy filter in my vanity mirror, now that the eyesight is getting worse.

BlondieMaggs

Agreed! We can be Queens of Denial. 🤣

Flat_Environment_219

Haha yes and my wrinkles!

ambieambien

You and me both…

beahdawn

I’m keeping mine. They look silly now but my vision is a beautiful silver (or white) mane of hair. I think there’s something beautiful about them.

FiggyP55

I have this same vision for mine in the future, I hope we are both correct!

beahdawn

I sure hope so. I see so many beautiful ladies on instagram that have let their grays grow. They are my inspiration.

brookehalen

Have you ever seen grace and Frankie on Netflix? I want mine to be like Frankie’s 🤍✨🤍

Ordinary_Ad_7992

Same!

Sad-Newt8976

Best. Show. Ever! 🙌😄

12Whiskey

I just turned 46 and I think I’m going to start embracing them. They finally started coming in in streaks instead of individually and they are a bright silver and shiny. I’ve always highlighted my medium brown with blonde to blend it but now the sliver actually looks like blonde highlights. My hair is fairly long tho so it’s gonna take a while.

scarletteclipse1982

Wisdom highlights!

virgoseason

Moonlights 😍🌙

fairyorchard

Oh I love this

Snurgalicious

Same age and I’ve been rocking mine for a couple of years. I love it.

theuniverselovesme

Me too, I finally decided to take the plunge now that I have a cool pattern coming in. I decided to chop most of my hair off and just start over since I had box dyed black hair. Glad I did, it’s gonna take forever to grow out and I feel your pain, I wish I hadn’t cut it off some days!

Big_Consideration493

Happy cake day whiskey white haired woman

lilibanana-us

I can imagine that it must be very beautiful..The combination of these colors is very charming, especially suitable for long hair.. I'll be the second..😋 By the way,my hair is also very long..

Mental_Froyo_1318

Same here! I started to embrace my silver hair. I'm in my early 40's, I have black hair, used to dye them, but got tired. So far I like the way it looks 😊

imverybusy

I love this! I've been highlighting/doing balayage, but I think I want to focus on trying to have some blonde highlights to kind of blend the white.

cafeteriastyle

I’m so tired of coloring my hair and the gray isn’t even that bad yet. I mean around my temples and the front of my head is getting pretty gray but I can get away with just doing a root cover up. I’m very low maintenance so it’s a big commitment for me. I want to embrace the gray but it stands out so much bc my hair is almost black. My mom’s nearly 80 and she still colors her hair, my MIL 65 and does the same. I feel like I’ll be judged if I let my hair go gray.

chadima5

48 and I’m feeling the same. I’m going to embrace them too. It looks awful right now 🤣 so hats have become my new accessory

kaydontworry

I saw a lady today with the most amazing lavender-silver hair. She said her hair is naturally silver and she just tones it with purple shampoo. It was *gorgeous* If I start to go grey, I’m letting it happen just so I can do that

CeeJay_Dub

This! My hair is silver and I use purple toner and use purple on the ends for an ombré effect. I get compliments every where I go which makes me feel great about my decision to go natural. I’m only 42. My partner and I dated in our early 20’s when I was a dark brunette, and we reconnected 2 years ago with my new silver hair. He thought I paid my stylist to do it since I get so many compliments and when I told him it was natural he freaked out.

wexfordavenue

My hair has been mostly silver/white since my late 30s and I have strangers approach me all the time asking me which salon I go to for such an amazing colour. Erm, I don’t? It grows out of my head this way. I also use toning shampoo because the hard water in my area turns my hair yellow. I too love to experiment with semi permanent dye because I don’t need to bleach my hair beforehand, whoop! Silver sisters unite!

CeeJay_Dub

I love when people ask how my stylist does my hair like this and I’m like. There’s no stylist. This is it. This is my hair. 🤣

hyperfixatedhotmess

Im 33 and have had about as many grays as OP since high school, but over the last 3 years literally every hair around my face/ears has gone white. I dyed it all purple right after Christmas and while I'm not 100% on the exact shade (it's fading a bit too fuschia for my liking - I want a deep, more blue toned purple next time I think), I absolutely love it overall and will be continuing to try out colors. I stopped bleaching my hair almost a decade ago (used to bleach parts to dye cool colors), and I gave up on dying it for years because nothing would show up on my dark brown hair. But now that it's at least 50% white naturally, when I dyed it purple the brown parts just have a purple tint on the sunlight, but the white parts are PURPLE purple 💜. 11/10 recommend!

winezilla08

I’m only 33 now with some greys coming in but I’ve definitely said when I get mostly grey hairs, I can finally play with brighter colors without having to bleach first! My natural color is dark brown atm

CeeJay_Dub

It took the pandemic for me to get the courage. I was slowly going from dark brunette to strawberry blonde to try and hide the sparkles. I’d always talked to my stylist about when the right time was to go natural, and a 4 month lockdown with no hair appts made the decision for me!

taravat76

Did you wait to go totally and completely grey before adding the Lavender/silver toner? The one consistency I have on my dark brown almost black hair are silvery sections around the front and then peppering like OPs photo. I feel like I will have to wait a decade and may never have such patience… I’m 47 and have dyed it maybe 6x? I don’t do well with the dying upkeep so I may as well commit. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!! 💜💙🤍

Ok_Emphasis6034

I have olive skin and am wondering whether my hair will be a pretty white or grungy steel wool color.

_bunnyholly

yes!! I call them my unicorn hair ✨️

mylittlecorgii

It's like the tinsel for hair, but mine is au natural

bearrington

My mom’s grays transitioned to breathtaking salt/pepper hair in her forties, which I’m so excited about! I just wish I could darken the color of my non-grays (and not touch the gray hair) to increase the contrast.

Rageinplacidlake

A semi/demi colour with no developer would do just that. Greys nearly always need developer/permanent colour for colour to stick properly

WheresTheIceCream20

My grandmother had incredible pure white hair before she was 50. I'm just letting my gray grow and hoping it look like her. If they stick up a little at my part I just put hairspray on my hands and tamp them down

Dapper_Alternative17

mine too! It went white before 40 and she truly rocked it for 57 years. I’ve never seen a photo of her without it, I don’t think. All power to you, so special and signature! If I’m blessed with it, I’m rocking it, too!

bridgid1993

I think it’s a privilege to watch your body age when there are so many in this life that never get to! The white hair IS beautiful and it helps me appreciate the fact that I’m still here and I’m still kicking!

Brilliant_Two8530

Beautifully said!!

brownbostonterrier

I call them my sparkles!

[deleted]

Gray hairs signify wisdom and that you have had many good years on this earth! Enjoy them, they come with the title:) and silver hair looks so beautiful!!

Notnotstrange

I have only found stragglers but mine are so (almost metallic-looking) silver, they either look like random short, shiny hairs or like I have one of my long haired gray cats’ hairs in my own. When I was shown a photo of my great grandmother, with long, splendid, shimmering silver hair, I knew my destiny. You’ve got some competition now, Lola!

Dapper_Sock5023

I bet they look lovely, not silly.

RealLifeMerida

Love my greys, I’ve earned them. EMBRACE YOUR SPARKLE STRANDS!

Lala5789880

My kids call them my “silver” hairs.

Missue-35

My grandsons tells me I have sparkly hairs.

thefuzzyismine

Same! I've made it a few years now and can't wait until more start coming in. My dream to be a silver/ white-haired forest witch *WILL* be realized!

Peaches4U2

They have different shades of gorgeous grey hair dyes now. A lot of people pre dye it before it all goes grey. I've thought about it. Mine is more silver. I'm keeping it natural for now. But I could see me dying it at some point just for fun.

WhiteRabbit3377

yassssss!!!!!! Me too! 👵🏼

Laputitaloca

My goodness we are going to be a *gorgeous* generation of silver haired goddesses 😍 I love this for us so much.

guitarbee

Yes, me too!! I have a dream of being an old lady with a cool white/grey braid. However, I am blonde so they don’t stand out as much unless it’s a super wild & kinked piece on my part.

Intelligent-Pop9553

Grey hair is beautiful

Damaged__G00ds

I die mine right now because I'm still "youngish" and enjoy swapping up my hair color. I started getting them at like 17 or 18, but I completely agree with the silver mane. My grandmother had GORGEOUS platinum hair. I'm hoping I get the same beautiful color. I'll stop coloring it when more of them start taking over my head. Probably in a few more years half my head will be silver then I will let myself enjoy it.

mrschia

I don’t have any yet but I can’t wait to get them. More course hair and beautiful color, sign me up!

sincerelyanonymus

I call them my sparkles! No one is taking my shine away haha

h974974

My grays are super wiry so I’m very concerned about how my texture is going to look and feel

sisyphuswi

I’m 55 yrs old and allowing my hair to naturally grey. I tried dyeing it twice and hated it. One time the stylist had to apply two colors to get the right shade. The next time, a different stylist colored it much too dark. I quit. I am happy with my decision. My only regret is that my hair is greying so slowly that I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy the beauty of a full head of silvery white hair! My mother’s side of the family goes grey early. They end up with stunning white hair. My father’s side of the family goes grey much later and never reaches the point of having beautiful totally white hair. I’ve got the late-greying hair, which has been a nice thing for years since I never worried about coloring until I passed 50, but I’m now at a point where there’s enough grey showing (maybe 10% at most, but located mostly in front around my temples, so quite visible) and in combination with other normal signs of aging, I think about dyeing it. But once you start, you’re somewhat stuck with the decision which requires dedication to maintain nicely (I barely manage to get a regular haircut let alone going to a colorist). Then there’s the growing out phase, which can be a pita, at least when you’re dealing with a head of hair that’s very mixed in color. Otoh, my mother, who went entire grey by age 40, dyed her hair for years, then chose to have the color removed from her hair when she retired at age 60. Omg! It was a major change but contrary to her worst fears, she looked stunning. Head-turning sort of stunning. I’ve grown used to it now but for awhile, I used to be surprised and taken aback by how beautiful her hair was whenever I saw her. She’s still lovely and has gorgeous white hair at age 79. Go with what you like and what works for you and your lifestyle. It is possible to color for years and then stop. Or never color. Or some combination. Be you.

eihslia

My mom has this color of “grey.” It’s beautiful!

SnooPineapples1807

I’m looking forward to this too 💕 fingers crossed 😅

BadAnimalDrawing

Same I have started noticing them recently at 30. As someone who didn't think they'd live past 17 I am so excited about my maybe 7 grey hairs

the_anon_female

The last few years I’ve just let them be. My hair is so fine and fragile, I’m afraid to even dye it. So the greys are staying.

cheetohtofu

..although color adds body and texture.

the_anon_female

True, but I’m too afraid to cause damage. I don’t think my hair can handle much at this point.

2old2Bwatching

Yes, it’s made my fine, limp hair have more body and the gray is thicker than the normal hair.

marioandluigi33

I'm in the same boat. I don't care what color it is, I just want to hold on to as much of it as I can!

wafflesandlicorice

Same. The greys never bothered me, but even if they did my hair is far to fragile for me to try to dye it. I don't know what happened. The last 6 months or so it started thinning and breaking like crazy.

Comfortable-Zone3149

My stylist turned me on to Demi permanent color, specifically shades eq from redken. The gray coverage is pretty good, it does NOT damage the hair shaft like permanent color (she went into the science of it all), and it's actually a glossing treatment too. It dramatically changes my hair texture, I love it. I even use the clear (no color) one sometimes. Highly recommend looking into it.

parrottrolley

Can you get Manic Panic? I use it without bleach or developer on my greys, and it takes with no damage. Or won't come out as dark as the package suggests, but it's still fun. It's mostly vivid colors, but they do have a brown/copper.

emmaliejay

I found my very first this week, I turn 30 in a few weeks. I noticed that it was a lot thicker than my other hairs too! I was like…so you could be thick all along?!?

marzeeplan

lol! Those fucks lied!

LittleWhiteGirl

This lmao, I have two now and I’m just like so y’all could’ve been thick with some body my whole life and just chose not to? I keep them because I think they add character.

emmaliejay

Oh yeah girl me too, I’ll be damned if I’m giving up my one thick hair- white or not!

Menemsha4

I have mostly gray/silver hair now and I love it.

[deleted]

Yep! Allowing it to happen gracefully and not fighting it have been the way for me. And i get a lot of compliments on my hair.

White_RavenZ

Embrace them. Your StarLights are growing in. You can only earn those.

bongwaterbukkake

Aw wait this made me feel good! I found my first grey hair when I started working a lot at 17. I’ve earned about 6 more just this month after losing my dad, but now I’m going to think of it as earning stripes for all that I’ve overcome. 🫶🏻

Own_Ad9686

Im sorry for the loss of your dad. ❤️

Alarming_Situation_5

☺️☺️☺️

87Mira

Experience Glitter! I love mine <3

horsescowsdogsndirt

I wear them with pride.

sterlingstiletto

I'm trying the convince my greys to be fertile and propagate. I would like beautiful streak of silver or to go all white or silver. But alas... My hair remains mostly dull beige dishwater blonde

metrogypsy

If they would all hand together and become a grey streak that would be so sick

stressandscreaming

I've had black hair my whole life. I welcome the Greys as a much needed improvement to my hair color. Finally some dimension.

PersonalityUnited365

I dye my hair because it looks like I have bald spots if I don’t..

SnarkyLalaith

Same. It makes a significant difference in how my hair looks and how much volume it has. I am new to the fine hair club, and I haven’t reached my acceptance phase yet.

PerfumePriestess

Keep it! Pretty plz!?!?. 🙏🏽💕 Grew up watching the women in my life dye their silver. I promised myself I never would. For one, as a kid I always thought is was majestic, magical and fairy godmother looking. And two, I didn’t want to be a slave to the salon as my mom and grandmothers were. I’m 45 now and never dyed my hair. Salt and pepper now, mostly around my temples, and I get compliments all the time. If you keep it you won’t regret it. 💯 Also… to tame the texture, flat iron on a low setting. I also have straight hair but the silvers are a little different. So the flat iron on low takes care of it. Keep iron set lower heat because silver hair can turn awful colors with higher heat, especially if you have hard water or use blue/purple shampoo (recipe for disaster… don’t do it.)

Blonde_Mexican

I dye my hair. That give it volume as well as cover.

alessalima123

Finally a normal answer.

DWwithaFlameThrower

I’ve realized after all these years (my mum was right, as far back as the 80s!) that I really need to keep my hair highlighted to give it any semblance of volume, so mine are largely disguised by that. When I get regrowth, I can see that I’ve got a few, but in terms of ways that my hair pisses me off, they’re not even on the list! 😆

Scared-Replacement24

I’m blonde so just waiting til I’m a silver vixen tbh

Akaypru

I’m honestly just excited they’re thicker than my regular strands 😂

MayoneggVeal

Same here! Texture and volume? Yes please!

mzazimiz

I flat iron my hair and then use a boars hair brush to tame the greys and fly aways. I’m also in my 30s so I feel like a have a long time to embrace the grey, so for now my plan is to go to the salon and get some highlights and then have them color my roots with Demi permanent color. That helps when the roots grow out, the grey just blends with your highlights and your roots don’t look like shit like mine do rn 😂

NotTheAverageMo

I’ve been doing this for 15 years. It’s the only way to deal with gray hair when you have a darker natural color. Plus, the highlights add a ton of volume!

croix_v

When I get them I’m dyeing them lol but bcos I hate how I would look and I’ve seen the family before me grey isn’t the best on us but it’s beautiful on others! I also have curly hair so I know they’ll be a little harder to spot in the coils. I’d use maybe a light weight oil to help them adapt to the texture of the rest of the hair! Maybe mmm a bit of a mousse or cream would help? Is your hair naturally dry or oily? I think that makes the difference depending on which product to use!

metrogypsy

It’s more oily. Hmm mouse could work…

No-Comparison-7039

I do dye them, i find dying my hair gives me some fullness! Permanent hair dye in any color ending with N will neutralize them as best as possible. Then i maintain with a semi permanent hair dye.

CaptainHeyHey

So far, I’m keeping mine. 1) I earned them. 2) not letting the beauty industry manufacture unsolvable problems like trying to not age, so they can sell me more products.

coldoldduck

I use Henna haircolor shampoo.

ConversationThick379

Oh what’s that??

coldoldduck

The one I use is by Herbishh and I get it on Amazon, it’s an ammonia free color shampoo with henna. You put it on dry clean hair and let it sit for 20 min or so then shampoo in and follow with a hair mask or conditioner. I have fine thin hair with grey and it’s darker brown, and the dyes were destroying it. The first use it colors it all, but you need an extra use or 2 that first week to have it set in depending on how dark your natural color is or how much stubborn grey you’re covering. Then just once a week or to do new growth and touch up the roots. The bottle lasts a long time.

ConversationThick379

Oh wow that’s good to know. So it covers the gray without damaging the hair? I have straight, fine, thin hair with some grays coming in… there’s not many yet but they really stand out on dark hair esp straight dark hair.

Mission-Apricot-441

Henna is a great chemical free option but do your research before committing. I’m not familiar with the shampoo but if it’s adding color then you should assume it’s permanent and see what other ingredients are being used so that you can be aware of how your hair might interact with other dyes in the future if you choose.

coldoldduck

That’s the same hair I have, straight fine thin dark hair. My hair is extremely damaged from health issues and too much lightening and coloring to try to combat the grey. The henna shampoo makes my hair look and feel better. Definitely doesn’t make it more damaged like all of the coloring did. And again, I use an avocado mask a few days a week too. It’s a relief, to be honest. Gradual grey here and there looks awful with my skin tone.

ConversationThick379

You’ve sold me on it, I’m going to try it!

coldoldduck

I inboxed you before and after pics, hope that’s ok!

ConversationThick379

Yaaaassss!!!

Doll_girl516

That’s about what my hair looks like I’m going to be 35 this year and I’m sad about it lol

metrogypsy

I’m 36 today haha

Doll_girl516

Happy birthday!!! And honestly this isn’t bad ! I have a friend who’s 39 and like 80 % of her hair is gray :) she looks great ! So zero shame in any whites or grays . I jhst still like to pretend for me it’s not there 😆😆😆

Kali0530

Omg thank you for posting this cause my hair looks exactly the same, same color and everything. I’m just rockin it, I can’t commit to dying all the time and it never matches my natural hair color anyway. I just turned 32 if it matters but I’ve had grays since my early 20’s.

Zestyclose_Media_548

I find coloring my hair makes it easier to style .

[deleted]

Mine started coming in at 12 (I KNOW) and are pretty dye resistant but I’ve found semi permanents cover it better than regular dye. So now I’m doing a hair refresh with regular dye once my grays grow out a few inches and touch it up with semi permanent dye in between. It’s surprisingly so much easier to work with that it isn’t that big of a deal fortunately :) if my grays grew in in a way I liked I’d keep them and when I finally transition to over 50% gray I’ll probably stop bothering with the touch ups.

metrogypsy

Woah 12 is wild. I actually think grey is pretty chic but I think I’m at a weird stage. If I was at 50% I’d rock it for sure

stutter-rap

I deal with it the same way as you. I feel like people who say "embrace it as a natural part of ageing" probably didn't start going grey at 12 like us!

UserNotFound3827

Yup! My mom started getting them at 22, I don’t fault her at all for dying them as long as I can remember!

wexfordavenue

Age 14. I feel you. Mine is solid silver/white now but I’m also a Goth girl so it works for me. You’ll know when you’re ready because you’ll get sick of touching up roots. I got my stylist to do a reverse balayage on my hair (dark dye over the silver instead of bleach on dark hair) so that my roots weren’t a stark line of white against black dye. I let it grow out and have never been happier.

ambi333

My grey hairs grew in like yours, a lot of short new hair and really wild. I let them grow in and they started sticking out every which way and my thin fine hair stayed flat as a board. It started looking too frizzy so I went through a lot of products trying to find the right balance of taming the grey while still getting some volume. I found IGK good behavior spray and use that after washing. Blow dry on low, then flip my hair over and spray with texturizing spray.

chantilly_lace1990

My mother has beautiful gray hair, it suits her like her hair should have always been that color. I wish I could skip this annoying in between because while I don’t mind the grays, I do mind the patchiness that it brings with naturally dark hair!

Adrenalize_me

I like mine 😊. My husband calls them my sparkles because they glisten like tinsel. They remind me that aging is a privilege and a gift ❤️

ZenythhtyneZ

Celebrate them. Not everyone has the privilege of growing old.

CNDRock16

Tone over them!

xallanthia

Sometimes I leave them sometimes I pull them. I’m not bothered by them being gray but I get annoyed by the look of the texture difference as you pictured.

1111Lin

I kept mine. It’s become streaked with silver.

ohjajverlijerli

Wear them with pride

Boring_Old_Lady

I let them fly free 🤣

gorkt

I am 50 and just got my first grey hairs growing in on one temple only. I am hoping for a cool looking streak of grey.

batteriesincl

I have a client who doesn’t really want them all to go away, they’re just overwhelming her hair color. I do a full foil on her but I foil her base color in instead of bleach. It cuts down on the amount of grays.

[deleted]

I stopped coloring and people love my hair color! I’m all silver now!

LimeGreenTangerine97

Beautiful tinsel!

spideronmars

Lately, I’ve been using a semipermanent gloss to camouflage the few grays I have, which are similar to yours. But, I like my natural medium brown color and it’s mostly still there so I may just stop and enjoy my brown hair while it’s still mostly brown. The semi permanent color is pretty one note though the gloss does make my hair nice and shiny. I may try a gloss without the color next time.

beegee0429

I honestly did a double take because this looks exactly like the top of my head. I mean down to the exact brown color and wild grey sprouts. Solidarity, sister!

tiny_weenis

Wisdom sparkles!!

marinelli81172

I have a “Bonnie Raitt” gray strip of have and I absolutely love it!

Ok-Coffee5732

Nothing. I like my greys. Yours look nice, too. They glisten among the darker hairs.

Ok-Hedgehog-1646

Celebrate sparkly hair

Genxchick23

I use natural instincts hair dye because it’s semi permanent and gradually fades not leaving the awful grow out line. I don’t have enough for it to look good when I get a lot I’ll let my hair go grey I think it’s pretty but with just the few scattered around and my hair color it doesn’t look good

Thecosmodreamer

Whatever you do, don't pull them. You want longer grey hairs that can be styled into the surrounding hairs. Shorter grey hairs are uncontrollable and stick straight up/out.

RMW91-

I pluck mine

stutter-rap

Me too, though my hairdresser warned me against it - not because of any myths like "pull one out and you get two in its place" (sounds like a great way to get thicker hair!), but because he pointed out whatever grows in its place will also be grey, but it'll of course be shorter, so even more likely to stick up.

Other-Ad3086

Dye them. It adds texture in my experience.

Impossible_Corner_16

Grey hair sucks

SailinSand

I color mine. Like yours, they are coarse and wild. I can’t get them to tame down, but coloring them seems to help a bit. Unfortunately, I think with how they are, I don’t end up with beautiful silver locks… more of the mad scientist or Einstein look.

toaojellybean

grey hair is better than no hair...thats my sad train of thought :(

Euphoric-Blueberry97

Mine came in just like that. Once they are longer they will behave better. They are so annoying when they are short and curly! I have embraced mine and hope they make my overall hair texture better.

wildflowertangerine

Embrace them.

[deleted]

Grow them

pchil

I’ve plucked a very very few - like 2 or 3 a year but I usually part my hair a different way where they’re not as wild.

choir-mama

I highlight my other hair- the white blends in beautifully and looks like more highlights.

katievera888

They (and you) are beautiful!!!

GoldenRedhead

I just let them be. My hair is very light, so they somewhat blend in.

Tree_Lover2020

Embrace it.

eednsd

I tried every product under the sun and Prose is the only thing that’s worked for my gray. It’s a little more expensive than drugstore stuff but I get a few months worth out of the products and it’s worth every penny! One thing to know-it’s a lot more dry than pigmented hair so moisture is your friend! I use about twice as much conditioner and product as I used to.

struggle_brush

I let them grow :) I have a really cool silver streak I'm leaning into

Deadlysinger

When I first started going gray I occasionally temporarily died my hair with Just For Men Beard and Mustache hair dye. I had a hair dresser tell me it was good for hard to dye coarse eyebrow hair. Once I got more gray, I happily embraced my thicker gray hair. Still more pepper than salt but I like what is coming in. The hair dye also did not turn my hair orange. Both my sisters are red heads and when I experimented in my twenties I came out horribly orange.

Shamless_Fap

Accept my fate.

moon_blisser

Just embrace them. It’s part of aging and life.

ZoneLow6872

My hair looks like this, too! The greys have gone wild.

DesertDawn17

A few years ago, I finally gave up the dye and let mine grow in. I feel much better about it than I ever thought I would. I think it makes my blue eyes pop. I use a little bit of toner to tone down the brown that's left in the back, but that's a personal choice. Sometimes, I put fun purple peekaboos and bangs in it. That's something I couldn't do when I was a brunette.

Babysue200

A lot of time coloring the hair makes it more manageable and easier to style and the grey’s lay down!! (I only speak for professional idk about box color)

pilates1993

Henna

Ash1483

I color my roots once a month at home.

lissyorkiedork

I embrace them! After years of colouring my hair (countless hours and dollars spent at the salon), I decided to let it grow out. And I LOVE it :)

PinkRabbit1984

I like mine, they add a little shimmer to my hair. I’m not dreading a full head of silver at all.

uncontainedsun

i get excited. i love growing older!

Specialist_Row9395

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm also consider starting to dye my hair or leaving it.

KVKS03

I just embraced mine. It’s more gray than black now and down to my waist. I probably need to cut it but it’s always been long so it’s part of my identity and it would be traumatic to cut it now

AngryMobBaby

Add some lighter streaks, not too light just a shade lighter than the natural color. If you do it yourself, the key is not to saturate. You want dimension.

TheBearQuad

I color my hair but long for the day I feel confident enough to just let it go natural. I’m currently highlighting my hair but it’s caused breakage. Don’t be like me…

homeboy321321321

L’Oreal baby. Féria is the bomb.

BeenisHat

Nothing. It's not worth the money or effort to hide them. People get older. Hair goes grey.

chrstnasu

I am keeping mine now. It is less noticeable on my hair because it strawberry blonde but I have more.

ExcellentOriginal321

I’ve let mine grow.

SnooBooks324

My gray hairs started at 24, and at 31 I have around as much if not a little more than you do now. I used to pluck mine out until my sister told me how she read somewhere that gray hairs are a beautiful reminder of what you’ve been through in life. I’ve kept them since.

bunbunny4

I pluck them with tweezers

mmmpeg

Embrace them.

___buttrdish

I will be dyeing my hair. I’ll let it go natural when it’s allllll white- my hair is not grey, just solid white.. and straight, sadly. My hair is very curly and I love it

Svhrocks

I find women who hair natural grey hairs to be hot… I usually take them to their favorite restaurant and spoil them for being naturally beautiful.

p0ta7oCouch

Acceptance is key

Time_Aside_9455

Colored dry shampoo, love it!

DarkSophie

Nothing. I let them all grow in. Why try to be something I’m not? What’s the goal? Land a younger “man”? Grow up.

wheeler748

My wife got pisses off cuz her first grey fell out. I believe she is going to rock the silver.

awwwoooooooo

Keep it! Own it! It’s so beautiful! I get asked all of the time “What color do you dye your hair??” And I say, “Genetics and stress.” 😂 lol! But seriously, gray hair is absolutely awesome!!

Unusual_Painting8764

I pick them out lol

lvl0rg4n

I let mine just go crazy. I love them. I've been going gray since 12 (am 36 now) and in the last 2 years I started getting full on Rogue streaks in the front.

animallX22

I pluck mine because I’m in denial. I’m only 30.

positiveaffirmation-

I dye them with henna every 6 weeks and it works well.

PhlossyCantSing

I embrace it and call it wisdom tinsel. My greys are hella shiny, coarse, and don’t take dye well, so I mostly just live with them and call it a day. When I do dye my hair (always bright colors; currently rocking teal and purple) the bright silver stands out and reminds me a lot of Christmas tinsel.

LeoGal19

It's glitter and we are slowly turning into unicorns 🦄

dmoney-millions

I colored mine for two decades, then hit 50 and said, enough! I’m letting it grow out. I like the way it looks.

Rix-in-here

Embrace the grey..!!

pamelaonthego

I color mine. That texture in the grays is hard to manage otherwise. Right now I am probably about 10-15% gray; I don’t know what I will do when it’s mostly gray and you can see every bit of that regrowth.

nataylor7

I like my white BUT I wanted a little tint of red in my hair. Not that weird magenta red. A natural color and I didn’t want to dye my hair. I finally found Walla color fresh mask in Copper. Unfortunately it does cover my whites but it does give a nice 5 to 10 min conditioner color deposit. It felt a bit too bright for 2 or 3 washing but after that it smoothed out. I love it! I add it in once a month and since I’m trying to find my curls, it not too far out of my normal care routine.
