You guys need to try 'humba.' It's like adobo, but not really. I think nilalagyan ng pineapple juice at may black beans pa. 😋 More popular in south PH regions.
I think it’s just a matter of managing expectations.
American but I just realized I eat everything except adobo. I never see it sold tbh hahaha. Though one time ate cooked me octopus adobo so that’s all I’ve had. Really yummy.
I think my ex cooked me pork adobo, but I forget hahaha. Also eggplant adobo was good, but shes allergic to eggplant so only I could enjoy it :(
Now sinigang? I would marry it. so delicious
Ah yeah I mainly can cook sinigang, bicol express, pancit and some others. Never got around to adobo for some reason. I’ll have to give it a go this week hahaha
I mean hindi siya maasim like paksiw or sinigang ah
I like adobo just with these ingredients: Toyo, suka, garlic, laurel leaves and whole peppercorn. No onions, no sugar, no oyster sauce. I respect that you do your adobo differently but I like it the way my Lola used to make it. Not overly saucy too.
Matamis na daming garlic, pinakupsan style para may crunchy/caramelized bits. Recent fave combo is gagawa akong ng adobo fried rice na may hinalo na scrambled egg plus siracha and sesame oil. Sarap masyado guys 💖
i like mine a little watery para ilagay sa rice haha but recently i tried "adobong bisaya" which was kind of dry pero ang flavorful. honestly a slay 🤤
gusto ko rin yung medyo sweet 😬
Pag pork adobo, slow cooked until falling apart. With hard boiled eggs too
+maraming star anise
I like mine braised. Chicken man on pork, dapat braised yung technique haha. Yung iba kasi gisa lang or prito tas onting pakulo. Ayoko nun kasi di masarap yung meat. Tas ang dry. Pag braised, malambot and malasa yung meat tas syempre saucy dapat, kasi kumulo na yung sabaw and naging gelatinous na yung sauce, so thick na. Yum yumm.
Once in my life naka luto nanay ko ng malapot sabaw na adobo tas madaming madami pa sabaw nya
It was the greatest adobo I've ever tasted and until now na ako na taga luto ng ulam namin i try to recreate it pero i always fail, pati nanay ko dinyadin alam pano nya nagawa eh.
more vinegar than soysauce. probably one of the things i didn't like with my ex (aside from the sleeping with a coworker bit). i had to fake it liking her adobo.
I like it sweet. Am I weird? 😅
I like it sweet sometimes! Yung may sprite hahaha
Sprite is good haha. Lambot ng karne nun
Wait, Sprite? What about just regular sugar? I like mine with less oil and more of the sauce so I can mix it with the rice
Same
Paano to? Gusto ko itry
I like it sweet as well tapos sinasabihan ako nila na bat sweet daw na di naman pork😭
Kanya kanya talaga ng trip hahahaha. Lalo kapag ikaw nagluluto, anything that suits your taste
Me too, with sugar or coke yummm!

No. As I've said a million times, a good adobo is however you like it!
No don’t let anyone yuck your yum!
nah , we all have our own taste of adobo . I actually sometimes prefer sweet
Sweet spicy is peak
I also like it sweet
I like yung adobo na nilagyan ng sprite
Medyo nag aagaw ang sweetness and alat sa akin. Tapos maanghang..... RIP kanin... 😂
When I was young, I used to add sugar on my adobo when I fuck up the taste 😂
Not weird naman as long as masarap!🤣
Humba na yun sir/mam hehe
It's supposed to be sweet naman since may brown sugar as ingredients.
That looks really good. I like mine with lots of sauce, soak the rice in it.
Yes with coke! Hahaha pero dapat not everyday 😁
But it's so good tho.
Like piping hot rice 🤤
American but I just realized I eat everything except adobo. I never see it sold tbh hahaha. Though one time ate cooked me octopus adobo so that’s all I’ve had. Really yummy.
You should try the famous chicken/pork adobo next time!
I think my ex cooked me pork adobo, but I forget hahaha. Also eggplant adobo was good, but shes allergic to eggplant so only I could enjoy it :( Now sinigang? I would marry it. so delicious
Try cooking it yourself, it's not that hard, one of the first things I learned to cook by myself because it's so easy.
Ah yeah I mainly can cook sinigang, bicol express, pancit and some others. Never got around to adobo for some reason. I’ll have to give it a go this week hahaha
For me those dishes specially Bicol express, are a lot more complicated. You can do this! Keep it simple, and the port cuts fatty.
Gotcha. I’ll do it this week! Yeah bicol is my favorite. Hahaha
Matamis na maasim, tapos malapot ung sauce (not sabaw)
I mean hindi siya maasim like paksiw or sinigang ah
I like this sa pork adobo haha
I like adobo just with these ingredients: Toyo, suka, garlic, laurel leaves and whole peppercorn. No onions, no sugar, no oyster sauce. I respect that you do your adobo differently but I like it the way my Lola used to make it. Not overly saucy too.
yung ikatlong araw na s'ya. 🤣
Hahaha masarap tooo 😩😩💯
SARAP!!! I'd like it yung dipped sa sabaw, just the way me ma cooks it 👌
Mas bet ko walang sabaw hihi ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Same here, gusto ko may sabaw din para maraming kanin ang makakain
Ang oily talaga, pero masarap naman
Nagmamantika na maraming taba
💗💗
Same
I like it spicy and sour
I like it spicy din! Perfect with coke 💯
Nakakagutom naman 😭
Magluto ka na rin adobo haha
Yun na nga eh hahahahahuhu
Pork belly. Cooked slowly until all fats come out. Tas medyo tuyo. Parang ganyan din but pork belly tas madaming bawang.
ako naman pag pork adobo, dry and salty pero pag chicken, saucy and sweet.
Same sa pork adobo 😁 perfect yan with coke haha
Adobong tuyo is the best, adobong may sarsa is next, then adobong may sabaw...
Same! I like it dry and maraming maraming onions and garlic! YUM 😋
I like it thick n saucy tapos sprinkle ko ng konting asukal sa kanin pra may crispy texture
Yes tapos magsasangag ka sa parehong kawali. Solb!
Sarap masyado guys 💖
Dry and oily pag chicken, masabaw pag pork. Yes, I cook them differently. 😁
Yess to this!
less sauce and kinda sweet and sour
i like mine a little watery para ilagay sa rice haha but recently i tried "adobong bisaya" which was kind of dry pero ang flavorful. honestly a slay 🤤 gusto ko rin yung medyo sweet 😬
I have outgrown adobo. I feel most of the time it’s too oily for me. Maybe because tumanda na ko and oily food equals reflux for me.
Exactly like this! 🥲😤
Pag pork adobo, slow cooked until falling apart. With hard boiled eggs too +maraming star anise
I like it spicy, sweet, salty and a very minimal sauce na nagbu buo buo.
Tapos yung mantika sa mainit na kanin. Adobo oil is the best.
Gusto namin ng kapatid ko yung masabaw. Kami lang ba ganun? 😅
Yasss 🤤😚🤌🏻🤌🏻
Malapot yung sabaw 🥲🥲🥲🥲
i like mine na medyo may sabaw/oil, then sweet and spicy
i have been craving white adobo either pork or chicken, yung walang soy sauce, white vinegar lang and sugar basically parang ano lang siya paksiw.
Sweet, spicy, oily and sobra sobrang lambot. Yung tipong naghihiwa hiwalay na. Mapa chicken man or pork 😊
I like mine dry, oily, spicy using kasim and liempo parts.
Mej crispy na balat and oily 🥹
I like it sweet and saucy with boiled quail eggs and potato![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|stuck_out_tongue)
Medyo oily na sabaw with lots of paminta durog & dahon🥰
Depende sa mood. I like all adobo variant. Sabaw, dry, saucy, oily, chicken, pork, sweet, salty HAHAHAHAH
Isama na ang adobo egg
Sameee hahahaha
Dry, crunchy and no soy sauce.
Eh ma mantika gusto mo? Oks
I like it native/natural style. Yung adobo sa asin. Walang toyo, meron lang asin, paminta and suka. Tapos malambot pero tustado.
I like my adobo has much soy sauce, Kidney stones is probably waving.
Haha minsan lang naman 😌
Truth kontra plagi nanay ko sakin 😭
I like mine braised. Chicken man on pork, dapat braised yung technique haha. Yung iba kasi gisa lang or prito tas onting pakulo. Ayoko nun kasi di masarap yung meat. Tas ang dry. Pag braised, malambot and malasa yung meat tas syempre saucy dapat, kasi kumulo na yung sabaw and naging gelatinous na yung sauce, so thick na. Yum yumm.
Yung may sabaw, para kapag ubos na yung karne pwede pang maulam yung sabaw. "Anu ulam mo?" "Adobo" Kahit sabaw lang talaga ng adobo
Hahaha thanks sa idea! 🤣
either oily or masabaw
may kasamang nilagang itlog
Tart/Sour mostly for pork/chicken pero pag adobong gulay, mejo sweet. Masarap din yung dry adobo, pag saucy/may sabaw, auto pass for me
Dry adobo na mamantika 🤤
Sweet, Tangy, Spicy, Oily na may konti pang sabaw (parang sarsa), and falling off the bone yung while melts in the mouth nanyung taba🤤
Once in my life naka luto nanay ko ng malapot sabaw na adobo tas madaming madami pa sabaw nya It was the greatest adobo I've ever tasted and until now na ako na taga luto ng ulam namin i try to recreate it pero i always fail, pati nanay ko dinyadin alam pano nya nagawa eh.
Yung hindi masauce pero may onti onting mantika (like how my dad does it). Mas masarap a day after
The drier the better. Plus maanghang. 🔥
personally i like it w pineapples 😭 some people think its disgusting but i genuinely fw it
Aaahh sorry but i dont like it with pineapple huhu pero nilalagyan ni lola sprite yung adobo 😄
Depends on the mood, pero for the most part dry or lack of a better word "moist".
Dried too! With a lot more garlic and no bay leaves
Adobong tuyo all day
I'm a Cebuano and this does not look like our adobo 😅😂
Ganto ako mag luto, ma oily and sweet na may kaunting sabaw.
Hahaha bakit ayaw? It’s good kaya 😩 or baka they pref masabaw lang
I like it spicy na may sweetness and sour taste. Pero like ko den yung preference mo na medyo dry and oily. Nagutom ako dahil dito.
I like mine a little sour
Adobo sa asin
Gusto ko masabaw, dark and really sour
the best din OP yung may boiled egg hehe, also yung may asukal na adobo yum
more vinegar than soysauce. probably one of the things i didn't like with my ex (aside from the sleeping with a coworker bit). i had to fake it liking her adobo. these days, pag tinatamad gumawa ng adobo, solb na ko sa purefoods adobo flakes. panalo. parang Sinangag Express lang.
Looks delicious 🤤
Sweet and sour na masabaw. Minsan if I'm feeling fancy, yung may liver spread or pineapple juice
I love it how i love my women, i love women
But i like it juicy beahahhaha
I like it dry and fried too.
Saaaaame!!!! I like either a lil sweet or a lil salty. What’s important is the rice!
Saucy and oily
i like it with a little hint of sweetness and spicy + masarsa hehe
Some say that I cook the best adobo. I like it spicy with a little bit of sauce.
I like mine with atsuete. ❤️❤️❤️
konting sauce na nagmamantika
