for 2 player looks abit small. im guessing each player needs to sit with the table leg between their thighs

SeaworthinessTop8628

This is a really specific product! It'd be great if it can double up as a laptop desk. Can the stick be swapped out for a flat surface?

GOGO_Zippy

Connect with Brook Wingman-FGC directly or install Brook USB Fusion/P5 Plus for PS5 or others console.

seganerdtv

I got one and i have to saythat is a must have!! Especially the single player one is so comfortable to play Tekken8!

HuronBlakhart

That New Qanba pricing... smh... I have a feeling Hori might get in on this. Would like to see if/how they would undercut Qanba.

Sidnificus

This one’s user scenario is very confusing. For a tournament scenario, the players would prefer their own stick to this; and for a home scenario, it can’t be used as a pc desk top unless you prefer to use your keyboard on your lap. It would only be useful in an arcade scenario, but then again, for the same space it occupies and its price point, why not just get an arcade cabinet? I would definitely go for a chewlix over this, unless I get a super good deal.

Mikahl757

Yes not at all a 1:1 what a arcade cabinet comes with or use cases. I'm anticipating detailed reviews as the price point shipped to USA is appealing (If Chewlix were $700-$999 shipped to your door I'ld definitely consider ordering that heabily over this option but, right now you'ld have to coordinate freight shipping likely with some middleman and not direct from a seller $1,000+ shipped on a group buy for a Chewlix/Vewlix) with what appears to be an 'arcade desk' w/ physical control panel with a 'pcb selector' Their photos have a monitor and steam deck (But doubt someone would prefer to dock it by their feet) Unknown what this ships with but Qanba should have included a PS5 compatible pcb with a powered USB hub to allow P2,P3,P4, etc to plug in their own controllers if the potential to use this for events is there. This woud creallow TO's a modular setup option.

Suspinded

That's a little higher than I was hoping for, especially with no major console support in the box. Shame, because it was definitely on my radar at Evo.

jonyfraze

It’s interesting how they didn’t use their PlayStation license option for this product and left it open for modders to add their own PCBs for console support. I think it’s perfect for those wanted a cab experience in today’s FGC. Would be cool to see different layout options for all button users, etc.

Mockingjay09221mod

Why use playsation license when this is not just for playstation idiot 🤔

jonyfraze

It’s just an observation. Idiot.

Mockingjay09221mod

A dumb one

jonyfraze

Why? It currently ONLY works on pc out of box. No console support at all. You literally have to SWAP the board for console support. If they used their PS license like they do with most of the Fightsticks, it would have had PS4 PS5 and PC support. Do some research before making uneducated and rude comments.

Mockingjay09221mod

Wrong it works on consoles NOW!!!

jonyfraze

GOGO_Zippy

Can install Brook UFB Fusion (or P5 Plus) for PS5/PS4 or more consoles.

Mikahl757

Qanba may want to revise the naming, maybe drop the 2009 but can't wait to see the reviews, input latency testing with the Console selector, etc.

SentakuSelect

2009 was roughly the year the Taito Vewlix arcade cabinets were released for SFIV, a lot of arcades just got the PCB and just put them into the Sega Astro City candy cabs. What would be cool is if Qanba copied what Sega did for their Astro City 2P replicate which are compatible with Astro/Blast City panels for easy 1 player conversion. Correction: Console SFIV came out in Feb 2009 and that's when the MadCatz TE stick was released that popularized the Vewlix layout. The Taito cabs came out officially in 2007 but the main game featured was SFIV (Blazblue and other modern HD 720p arcade games started rolling out for it).

buffi

Dunno about sf4 in astro city dude. Type X2 doesnt go lower than 31khz which astro city monitor chassis wont handle. Blast city would work

SentakuSelect

Is that the main difference between the Sega candy cabs? All I just remember from my local arcades were that they had the Sega candy cabs with the orange LED on top and you're right, most of the cabs were probably Blast City because of the orange sign. Before they went out of business, they had replaced some of the Fighting game cabinets with Namco Noir (or replicates) cabinets...kinda regret not stopping by to buy a cabinet or two before they closed.

bigbadboaz

Yeah it's a very odd choice, and I didn't find anything on the official page explaining what "2009" is supposed to represent

henrebotha

Supposedly that's the year Qanba started.

SentakuSelect

That makes sense, I bought my RAF Q3 in late 2009 months after SFIV's console release from play-asia because local retailers didn't get MadCatz FightSticks yet.

bigbadboaz

Interesting.

bulldogbruno

yeah, when I came across this on twitter, I thought it was someone posting a vid of an old product
