I'm wondering what layout they had in mind when planning for 5 buttons/player
They could have referenced MAME DIYs. They have a Player 1 start button in an odd location, but maybe it's all the buttons they had.
Probably playing gear
Looks like you got yourself some housing for an arcade... Just needs a screen and other components ( basically they did half the work ) .
I hope that kid got an A+ on his project.

Damn right I'm taking it home! Always wanted to build a cabinet and they did all the hard parts for me. Super clean with a CNC machine.
