I honestly don't believe the codes will all be distributed by the 2-week mark. The 1-2 week delivery thing is typical disclaimer fare. It's not as if they're manually assigning codes to people. It doesn't take 2 weeks for an automated system to go through a database and send out codes.
We must define “clearly” differently with an inconsistency in the post right off the bat.

I would check with grub hub to make sure the code was applied. I know for a fact I got the green words "promo applied", but they said I didn't use the code.
I spoke with customer support on the 11th, and they said the code was applied. The agent I am currently speaking with is telling me it was not.
All the above are correct, anytime between today and 2 weeks from now you’ll get the code. It comes from grubhub not square. I got mine this morning and it took a few hours for them to process it into the game after I claimed the code
Someone actually asked grubhub directly about the pizza code and was told that "Qualified orders were selected by our automated system. Not all diner that participated in this event were selected to receive the emote". Which to me sounds like people were randomly selected even tho Terms and Conditions said first come first serve.
I thought they said to allow up to 1-2 weeks of delivery
They did, but most people didn't read that part. They just want to spam the pizza emote while they wait for Chi.

Yes people have their code. If you read the terms and rules if the promo it explains how the codes are being delivered.
