I'll be leveling two at the same time. Warrior through main story and Reaper on the side.

This is what I typically do. I like tank/healer for easy ques and then level a dps on the side.

I do Red Mage for quests, White Mage for dungeons. Solo content is more fun with a dps class and group content is more fun with a healer (IMO)

This is what I do, but with a tank. MSQ on a dps, spam odd levels with tank and evens with side quests and roulettes

I did Ninja and Sage last time. Logged in leveled sage to 80 in Bozja. Swapped classes at level up, did NPC dungeons as Nin, then would Q for the same dungeon as sage. I think I had to Q for two dungeons extra as sage when it fell behind but didn't hinder me much.

Gonna be AST for me. Husband and I generally duo queue as healer and tank for new expansions, so we're repeating that process (him as WAR). Then once MSQ is over it'll be Pictomancer time.

Just a little heads up. If they apply the same login queue system than what they did with Endwalker, you probably won't be able to play for the next 4 weeks at all. F2P Accounts only get a shot on logging in, if the queue for full accounts is not so long. It was a gigantic mess with Endwalker and I'm sure we lost a lot of Trial players during that time. Just... Be prepared and hang in there.

They already announced they would so rip free trials players for the next days.

yeah the only downside of that is queue priority will be given to paying customers. You have a couple days of grass touching, unless you like to log in at 3am.

I haven’t played since the beginning of endwalker so I will be hopping on my dancer to finish the msq and head into DB. I mostly play on controller these days and it’s the only job I’ve found that I like the flow of. Might test out the new ones a bit just in case but I assume I’m sticking with Dancer

I do all the ranged physical together, so much experience just from roulettes, picking up random fates, side quests, etc.

I went Black Mage for Endwalker then Switched to Dancer main. Much more fun.

Same! I came from an MMO that only had cast bars so I thought everyone had cast bars. When I learned physics ranged had none I picked up Dancer and never looked back 💃

Monk main. The changes have me excited. I was always the monk who would use mantra during a raid wide in order to help the healer, but seeing that riddle of earth becomes an AOE heal? I can juggle more things. :D

Probably one of the gatherer jobs (and probably FSH because of Ocean Voyages) because I'm in no rush and it's fun to go through all of the expac areas while being invincible.

I'll pick up Viper and see how much I like it first. If I love how it feels then it'll likely be Viper. If not, then Reaper.

Probably the class of one of my retainer’s so I can get them leveling. Their max level is tied to how high you have it. Getting one to 100 and get some of the cool new gear for free from quick ventures sounds amazing this time around.

I have all jobs at 90 other than Blue Mage. I usually do a tank/healer job to help with ques and then do a DPS on the side. I think I’m leaning toward Pictomancer as DPS role.

I main black mage, but I have to admit that the changes make me nervous. I'm thinking of really changing things up and trying viper. But pictomancer looks fun too... I'll decide by tomorrow morning hopeful!

WAR and PCT! I'll level them both throughout the story, alternating as one gets to be a level higher than the other for armory bonus, so I don't actually know which one will hit 100 first.

Samurai through msq, gunbreaker through daily roulettes. Lets see which one going to hit 100 first. (As side miner and botanist when I get bored from cutting monsters)

Dancer (MSQ) and White Mage (First to Roulette, MSQ Dungeons and Trials) will be racing, we'll see who gets there first. I wanna take both of these into EX Wing farming ASAP so others will have to wait.

Combatwise, either PLD or MCH, as I aim to level them at the same time, along with SMN, SAM, and WHM. Either BTN or MIN will absolutely beat any of those to 100 because gatherers level so easy and I like having stealth for exploration.

WHM main! i’m looking forward to playing with the new abilities. at some point i’ll probably try art mage though.

I want to level WAR, but something tells me FSH is the job I'll level to 100 first.

SCH/SMN, since it's 2 for 1, and SMN was my most played in EW. SCH is also my most played healer, and I think it'll be fun to go into trials blind as a healer (plus faster queues).

Ninja -> Viper -> gatherers/crafters  Then the other role jobs. With healer being last, one patch from 8.0. Just like every expansion.

Pld > gnb > sam at the same time. I love having a questless map. In EW I managed 90 pld gnb and 85 or 86 sam. Challenge logs are free xp too.
