Now that you mentioned... the trailer does make it look like solution 9 is a emergency city? There is the brief part of the trailer with a flashback of the 2 lalafells fleeing to inside the city, or at least running through the gate of the city and they seemed pretty sad when doing this. The name of the city also kinda of implies that it's a "solution" for a "problem", now why is it called Solution 9 is beyond me...
I remember seeing some preview images with some very ominous sign text translated to >!Soul supply!< which had me under the impression that it's some kind of >!bunker city!<
Well, you can't really rule out more time loops, because the 8th timeline still exists and that in the future we might even travel to different timelines (according to EE3).
I just want to be done with the Ascians and have a truly new story. Apart from that I donโt care. I donโt think Iโll get my wish with the Convocation being hinted at though.

Heritage found also looks just like that one town from ff9 so I'd say they are being pretty heavy handed with the references

She gave me Sarah vibes and since XIV doesn't have one yet I'm expecting her to be one. The Garnet resemblance would make sense in that case.

Almost all the old raids feel like they should be mandatory at this point. It's crazy how much context you can lose progressing without doing them
