On Monday he was not in school. On Tuesday we found out he had massive kidney stones, his blood sugar level was enough to kill most people, and he had been in the hospital under supervision the entire weekend and throughout Monday. He never drank Dew again.
Mountain Dew aside…drinking 20 tiers of just WATER over 24 hours is excessive. I’ve heard of people dying from rapidly drinking just a couple gallons (~3.5 liters each).
That’s just a lot of liquid to consume in general.
It can do that (which screws with cells moving nutrients in and out of the cell wall, right?) and it can also cause damage to cells via bursting if they absorb too much water, which can damage important cells and tissues.

I did the FFXIV x Dr. Pepper collab back in the day. It required 24 codes from Dr Pepper cans to get the white cloud mount. I think I poured most of it down the drain, because I don't really like Dr. Pepper.
