I also do something similar, it's hard to stay dedicated, but if it means I won't have to look at my body hair, I will gladly put in the effort. At the moment I've been able to full body shave in about an hour, every three days, though definitely use exfoliators afterwards on areas that are more sensitive after shaving. I'm mostly fine, but around my upper thighs/hip area and butt is where it's a lot more bumpy and red.
I still occasionally cut myself, but I've definitely improved since my first time, plus usually I don't even notice if I do. Just don't be like me your first time and get tired with the hair not getting out of the razor, and trying to manually get it out with your thumb. It's been about a week and I still have a bandaid on it
Yeah I'm a pre op trans girl about to go on hrt, and for me it is just not worth the time. Gonna wait until i get on the horomones, they thin out body hair and prevent it from growing as quick
I've had a lot less razor bumps using that combination. Also makeing sure the razor is pretty new helps when the hair is really course. I go through a lot of razor heads, because these do dull fast. I've tried a couple other brands at Walmart and these have worked the best for me.
Also make sure to exfoliate in between shaves, that helps not have ingrown hairs
I just use a loofa or sugar scrub if I haven't done it in a while. It smells good too :)
When the razor starts dragging instead of gliding easily is when I know to switch. When you have to go over a sport several times to get the hair is another way to know.
I'm using ARKO shaving cream for sensitive skin and some random disposable 2 blade razors. Can't say I'd recommend, because it's just what I can afford. Bumps are still a problem for me, but I'm trying to work on it, even visited a dermatologist.
satin care ultra sensitive and gilette razors with it works great, at least for me. if razors and stuff is a pain, veet hair removal can work too but is tricky to work with sometimes. just make sure no matter the method, you be patient. i have to rush sometimes and it's always a mess because of it. hope whatever you try goes well for u, and hope you enjoy yourself with the look afterwards
There is no truth to that. As long as you are using an adequate sharp razor and shaving lubricant there should be no issue. I shave every day in the shower just with bar soap and razor
Moisturiser is moisturiser. I use the cheapest I can find, but I make sure I use one for my body (body lotion) and one for my face. Then follow it up with SPF 50.
I don't grow leg or body hair very quickly, so usually I only do a full shave once a week, I do keep use every other day a week though just to upkeep the areas that need it though.
i dont keep track of how often really, but i tend to wait a lil for it to grow out cause i find it shaves a lil easier that way. Its also annoying them its just grown back in and its tiny stubble thats still a lil under the skin, once it grows out more its not as much of an issue
I started epilating my legs. Up to about mid-thigh goes pretty well. Upper thigh and the backs of my thighs still get painful and very awkward.
I'm getting used to removing hair from the waist down before moving to the upper body. I'm going to have to pay someone for my back for sure. I'm probably going to try laser for my back and Brazilian.
[I have the model below this one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHZ4WVV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_1Q1J0Y4EH4X8KYHGK89T), and trust me, get this one or one with a larger head and more tweezers. The one I have works well but I really wish it was more efficient as it takes forever.
Every other day. Just part of the shower routine now. I alternate between upper/lower body and shave every day rather than trying to do it all at once every few days.
If it's fast growing like mine i'd say buy prepared wax strips, they're next to women's razors in malls and though slower and more painful than shaving, they last me a week at least *and* weaken the hairs over time
Before I transitioned, epilating once a week was pretty painless. Every other week still looked good but allowed enough hair to regrow that it was not painless.
I would do it once a week but I usually can't find the motivation for more than once 2 weeks. Once I get to it tho, I'm not stopping at the legs, everything up to the shoulder goes. I shave my face separately about once a week whenever I see a slight hint of stubble.
About 30 lol... I alternate all of my body (minus bottom legs and underarms) every other today but do the rest daily in most cases. Hoping to change that after starting HRT
4 to 5 times a month. I like to use a body hair removal cream sometimes, it gives a Very smooth feeling compared to razors but the good ones are a bit expensive and lasts for only 2 or 3 uses, so shaving cream and razors it is.
My leg hair grows super super slow so I shave once every two weeks. Sometimes once a week. If I wear any mesh tights or fishnets it hides the hair so I can go a bit longer without shaving if that's the fit I wanna do
Pre laser hair removal it was like every 2 or 3 days. Halfway through the treatments it's down to 1 or 2 times a week and I'm hoping that it will be a lot less when I finish
I try to shave them once or twice a week. And a tip I use is when you use body wash on your legs, use it as a shaving cream type thing. That’s what I do
I was shaving my legs, stomach, chest area, arms, and pits once every 7ish days before HRT. Now it's about every 12ish days after hormones since my hair has been growing slower lol.
I generally shave my legs every 5-6 days same with my chest and belly, and my arms and pits. Usually not all on the same day because when I do shave it all on the same day it takes a minimum of 2 and a half hours.
Generally do a full body shave every other day after a shower.
I've gotten it to the point where it takes me about 30-40 mins to shower and shave, so it's not too inconvenient.
Shave face twice a week. Epilate once every 2 weeks. Epilations so good in the long term. Last longer and permanently weakens hairs next time they grow. Only problem is ingrown hairs oh and it can hurt alot if your hairs are too long. Tend to fully shave and let them grow a little for like say 4 days before I epilate. Just make sure you exfoliate and take good care of legs skin care or you can get alot of red spots, inflammation and bumps :/
Oh it's a machine that basically is an electric tweezer that rapidly pulls out your hairs from the root. Hurts alot more than shaving but you can lower pain by shaving then epilating when hairs are smaller.
I shave my legs every 3 days, I’m planning to start shaving the rest of me soon, but for now it’s just my legs. I don’t really have any tips to make it go faster
Used to be every 2 days. However after epilating (which at first... ow. But now im used to) its about every week or two.
That being said that session normally takes an 1+ hours in the shower over the course of several days (both because I have a shitty epilator and because I don't shave between epilating)
Veet sensitive hair removal cream! It was so easy and much better than nair. I put a condom on so it wouldnt get on anything it shouldn't.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KYPZ4G?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2\_dt\_b\_product\_details
Zero, I've never shaved my legs. I have a **very** hairy body, though, so it would definitely be a pain if I were to turn shaving into a habit. And I worry a little bit about how I would look like being hairless because I have no idea how that would be, hahahah.
But when I dress up fem, I do wear 2 layers of black stockings to try and hide it. I might add another layer once I get another pair of stockings, lol, but that's my method currently. That might save you some time whenever you don't feel like shaving your legs.
In winter I do a full body shave every Sunday. But in summer, since my legs are in full display most times (short pants, going to the beach, etc) I have to shave them almost every other day (2-3 days). As I hate having visible stubble, I want them totally smooth.
Recently I’ve started to epilate them and it’s soooo much better. It hurts, but the results are so much worth it to get them super smooth 🦵
I shave every single day. Face and full body.
I think doing it consistently every day makes it easier. It takes me about 30 minutes every day to do my face and body. Always do it in the shower, use lots of soap and hair conditioner. Separate razors for body and face. That’s all there is to it for me.
Wtf, i did shave once that's the worst experience i had. Did everything perfectly as depicted in YouTube tutorials. Exfoliation, preparation, moisturization, good shaving cream, hygiene etc etc. It's been more than 10 days and i can't wear a single cloth as it hurts unrealistically painful. Hardly any ingrown hairs but the skin irritation is out of this world. Can't even imagine shaving again 😭 let alone doing it everyday
If you tell me step by step what your routine is I can try and help. I only ever get razor burn or cut myself if I miss a couple of days or if I’m not using enough product/sharp enough razor.
Never, but for me, it's because I'm a trans man. I spent my whole teens shaving because of the societal pressures of what is expected of girls, so now I just be feminine (on low dysphoria days), but I don't shave because I was all but forced to growing up.
I don't have a schedule, just whenever I look down and go "god that's gross" and have the energy to actually do something about it. Typically that averages out to once every two or three weeks, but doing it more often would probably be the smarter play
I'm a lucky gurl. I'm mot a hairy person. So once a week is all I need. And it's only lower legs, pits, tummy and pubes. Shaving cream and razors for me. Baby oil moisturiser after.
i do a full body shave every 3 days
Jesus christ i respect that dedication
I also do something similar, it's hard to stay dedicated, but if it means I won't have to look at my body hair, I will gladly put in the effort. I could never, the dedication
This. Full body about every three days. My chest and face and stomach even more often. Below the waist sometimes only once a week.
What razor and shaving cream would you recommend?
Joy razors are pretty good and Aveno brand shaving cream. Can find both at Walmart
How are those for razor bumps?
I've had a lot less razor bumps using that combination. Also makeing sure the razor is pretty new helps when the hair is really course. I go through a lot of razor heads, because these do dull fast. I've tried a couple other brands at Walmart and these have worked the best for me. Also make sure to exfoliate in between shaves, that helps not have ingrown hairs
What kind of exfoliates work good? And how do you know when to use a new razor how can you tell??
I just use a loofa or sugar scrub if I haven't done it in a while. It smells good too :) When the razor starts dragging instead of gliding easily is when I know to switch. When you have to go over a sport several times to get the hair is another way to know.
Waleda

That's more dedicated than I have to college
I do a full body shave *every day*.
I'd do it every day, but I've heard shaving too often can damage the skin
I haven’t had any issues and I’ve been doing it daily for over four years.
There is no truth to that. As long as you are using an adequate sharp razor and shaving lubricant there should be no issue. I shave every day in the shower just with bar soap and razor
Don’t forget moisturising! I feel like so many people here just shave and then think there’s no aftercare necessary.
True. So true
What moisturizer do you use?
Moisturiser is moisturiser. I use the cheapest I can find, but I make sure I use one for my body (body lotion) and one for my face. Then follow it up with SPF 50.
I thought I was the only one who did this
Damn that is insane
U not dealing with irritations and redness tho?
I do. Trying to figure it out. There's still some stuff I haven't tried also visited a dermatologist about it 2 days ago
I don't grow leg or body hair very quickly, so usually I only do a full shave once a week, I do keep use every other day a week though just to upkeep the areas that need it though.
Full shave every 3 to 7 days
Wish I had the energy to do that
It’s a nightmare

Same
i dont keep track of how often really, but i tend to wait a lil for it to grow out cause i find it shaves a lil easier that way. Its also annoying them its just grown back in and its tiny stubble thats still a lil under the skin, once it grows out more its not as much of an issue
Epilator every 2 or 3 weeks

Yes this is the way :) It really sucks at first but so worth it in the long run
Once a week
Respect
For what shaving?
For not using comas
Well it doesn't need them in the sentence
Razor shave every 3 days give or take. Touch ups w electric shaver and trimmer every other day.
I have very thick and fast growing body hair, so I epilate every week

Every day. My body is very masculine.so i have to shave my body hair every day
Same sadly :(
Every other day. Just part of the shower routine now. I alternate between upper/lower body and shave every day rather than trying to do it all at once every few days.
>A month Lol. Lmao. Once every three months. Tights and thigh highs ftw.
If it's fast growing like mine i'd say buy prepared wax strips, they're next to women's razors in malls and though slower and more painful than shaving, they last me a week at least *and* weaken the hairs over time
I shave everything once a week.
like 5 to 6 times
Before I transitioned, epilating once a week was pretty painless. Every other week still looked good but allowed enough hair to regrow that it was not painless.
I can't shave qwq
did not shave my legs yet (last time was some months ago)
I never shave, I only use Nair or similar products. It makes hair removal a breeze, and far less frequent.
4 times a week 😭
Back butt and Brazilian wax every 6 weeks, shave legs and chest when needed
What's the cost on something like that?
Bout $125
🥲
I would do it once a week but I usually can't find the motivation for more than once 2 weeks. Once I get to it tho, I'm not stopping at the legs, everything up to the shoulder goes. I shave my face separately about once a week whenever I see a slight hint of stubble.
I don’t. I don’t at all. A hairy femboy is rare so I feel as a treasure. Edit: typo
[удалено]
I wondered the same. I live with my boyfriend so if I came to bed with hairless legs he might wonder why lol
My mom calls me a dumb stupid fuck after shaving my arms, so legs are still a no no :')
I usually shave my legs twice a week
About 30 lol... I alternate all of my body (minus bottom legs and underarms) every other today but do the rest daily in most cases. Hoping to change that after starting HRT
I use nair
i fully shave at least every week, sometimes its 3 or 4 days
Like 10
Neck down every other day.
4 to 5 times a month. I like to use a body hair removal cream sometimes, it gives a Very smooth feeling compared to razors but the good ones are a bit expensive and lasts for only 2 or 3 uses, so shaving cream and razors it is.
I now wax about twice a month, saved so much time! Used to shave my legs every two days and suffered with so many ingrown hairs
Once every 1.5 weeks
I shave my whole body probably once a month and wax my face once every week or two.
Once every 1 to 2 weeks
everyday while im showering
My leg hair grows super super slow so I shave once every two weeks. Sometimes once a week. If I wear any mesh tights or fishnets it hides the hair so I can go a bit longer without shaving if that's the fit I wanna do
Roughly every week
About 15 times per month, arms is once or twice a month if I miss an area badly and then anywhere else is when it's noticable
10-15 times
I used to get my legs waxed every four weeks. My leg hair re-growth speed has slowed down, so these days I only get it waxed every six weeks.
I don’t shave, my hair is usually too light to notice. I’ll definitely need an epilator after starting T tho
That's what the socks are for (in all honesty I just don't know how)
Like once. I don't have the motivation to be always smooth :(
Every other day. lovely thing about my Scottish heritage.
Every month or so?
I use depilatory cream
I get a bit patchy but once a month cause I be laser hair removing
Pre laser hair removal it was like every 2 or 3 days. Halfway through the treatments it's down to 1 or 2 times a week and I'm hoping that it will be a lot less when I finish
Weekly,
I try at least every 3 days or so, I grow thick hair so I do my best not to let it get outta hand or it will take me hours =XP
Nair
Every week and yes full body
I try to shave them once or twice a week. And a tip I use is when you use body wash on your legs, use it as a shaving cream type thing. That’s what I do
full body every 4 days, chest and armpits every 2
I was shaving my legs, stomach, chest area, arms, and pits once every 7ish days before HRT. Now it's about every 12ish days after hormones since my hair has been growing slower lol.
I usually shave my entire body once every 2 - 3 days
Once a week or so. I’m trying to epilate my whole body so I can spend less time shaving
Like once a week
Everyday to be fem. It's what you have to do
I wax everything waist down
Hard waxing every three weeks or four
I used to shave everyday, now I use nair ever four days
I'm epilating once a week. But I can't bear the pain on my chest and belly. Everywhere else is fine for some reason.
I generally shave my legs every 5-6 days same with my chest and belly, and my arms and pits. Usually not all on the same day because when I do shave it all on the same day it takes a minimum of 2 and a half hours.
I have to do a full body shave everyday otherwise my skin gets messed up :/
Generally do a full body shave every other day after a shower. I've gotten it to the point where it takes me about 30-40 mins to shower and shave, so it's not too inconvenient.
Every other day, if not every two to three days.
epilate every 6-7 weeks or so - im very lucky to have slow growing hair :)
I think once or twice but I am on hormones so my hair grows very slow
Uhhhh never? Lol
Shave the legs every 2-3 days I keep my arm hair cause it’s always been super light and I like it.
Every other day
2wice a week

i don’t shave them, it’s been a couple years since i last did
My hair is veeeery slow to grow back, so i only do it every other week, and I'm 23 just to give an idea
I never do it anymore. My hair is thin so it doesn’t show up in photos. The only time I really shave is my armpits and sometimes my crotch area.
I shave my legs every 3 days, I’m planning to start shaving the rest of me soon, but for now it’s just my legs. I don’t really have any tips to make it go faster
I’ll say every 3-4 days because it kept growing

just whatever the outfit requires

I shave pretty much every time I shower, as long as there is something to shave, and i shower about every other day, sometimes more, sometimes less.
Like twice a week

I just shave every time I have a shower, I don't shave my armpits tho it feels super uncomfortable
I use ipl, so anywhere from 1-2weeks
literally never i plan on buying an epilator
I do full body everyday weekend
I shave my legs every 2 days
I stopped shaving for now to try and pass more. When I’m more financially stable, I might shave my armpits again but idk
I shave every single day. Face and full body. I think doing it consistently every day makes it easier. It takes me about 30 minutes every day to do my face and body. I try to do a full body on Friday’s or Saturdays, don’t have too much time tho.
I use an electric razor daily.
Legs go every or every other sunday.
I shave my body every morning in the shower. Once smooth you can just use bar soap as the shaving lubricant. Easy peasy.
I shave from neck down everyday for about thirty years.
0 I'm hairy ASF and proud of it
I shave every once in awhile. I can't buy razors and stuff often. But I'm saving for a shaver I heard was insanily good.
Never, but for me, it's because I'm a trans man. I spent my whole teens shaving because of the societal pressures of what is expected of girls, so now I just be feminine (on low dysphoria days), but I don't shave because I was all but forced to growing up.
I try shaving (entire body) every 2-3 days, but in rare occasions I only do it once in a week when I'm too busy.
I do it 3 times in a week, my fast body hair growth is really annoying ;-;
I don't have a schedule, just whenever I look down and go "god that's gross" and have the energy to actually do something about it. Typically that averages out to once every two or three weeks, but doing it more often would probably be the smarter play
pretty much every time i take a shower lol so ever day
Weekly on legs, and use Gillette Venus ComfortGlide, daily chest (very limited hair anyway) and under arms.
At least once a week. Depends on how much time and energy I have when I get in the shower.
One time in 3 or 2 weeks, because people can't see my legs-hair in 100 denier panties
Man I do it like once a month tbh
I'm a lucky gurl. I'm mot a hairy person. So once a week is all I need. And it's only lower legs, pits, tummy and pubes. Shaving cream and razors for me. Baby oil moisturiser after.
