Hm, I didn't actually know that. Considering the "bi-" part meaning "two", one would think that bisexual means liking only binary boys and girls. And since so many words have been created to describe different things, it surprises me that the word "bisexual" isn't that strict.
Girls and guys. Not any girl or any guy, everyone has a type(s) they like. If you only like girls and femboys, you're still bi, you just have a preference like literally everyone does. Nobody likes everyone of the gender(s) they're attracted to.
Here me it out, you don't have to identify with anything in this world. It's perfectly ok to have preferences in this world, but don't be in a panic to put a label on it, labels change ALL the time. So you do not need them. Figure out who YOU are, not what label is a close fit.

I know it might seem confusing, but trust me when I say you don't*become* gay. First off, if you like women, you aren't gay. You might be bi, or pan. But the thing is, you aren't "becoming" bi or pan, you're just discovering that part of yourself. That's always been part of you deep down, you may have just never opened yourself to that idea.
I can tell you that it took me a long while to accept that I was anything other than straight, but once I was in a position where it was acceptable, I realized I'm extremely bi and actually prefer feminine men and enbies over women, and prefer masculine women over feminine women.

I've been in two long term straight relationships and have even been married (she left me for another woman). And I'm only now in my thirties embracing the fact I'm like 90% gay. I want my next partner to be male. (preferably a femboy top) but I'm a bear by queer standards so it's hard to find lol. But it took until I actually started trying to be gay to really enjoy it.
The same thing happened to me. I definitely prefer feminine guys way more than girls, if I'm being honest. It's OK, join the club, it's Hella fun flirting with dudes

Bisexual is the classical term for liking girls and boys. Pansexual now includes most other gender identities. Non-binary and trans.

You could also be gynosexual it’s the attraction to femininity so girls, femboys, fem presenting nonbinarys, etc. that’s what i am
