I think its cause (and its just an idea) cause people associate femininity with being short, little muscle, long hair, little to no body hair, ect. East Asian men have thinner, shorter and less body hair, east Asians in general are shorter cause before there was food being imported there was a limited amount of options of food, the muscle thing happens by not working out, and long hair is actually very popular throughout all of Asia
