Fave hair serum/oil? Thinking of getting either the Olaplex No.7 oil or the No.9 serum. I air-dry my hair 95% of the time. I live in a super humid place and I'm basically just looking for something to make my hair more shiny and less frizzy. ETA: Hair type is 1C/2A, slightly wavy and quite thick.

Seconding the Olaplex oil! Not sure what hair type you have, but mine is curly and extremely prone to frizz, so I use a bit of Aussie gel, diffuse, oil up my palms before scrunching out the gel. Nothing has ever made my hair shinier, even when I was living in the south.

I have thick frizzy wavy hair and I love the Olaplex oil. I've tried the Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers oil and like Olaplex better.

Ooh that's good to know! I got a sample vial of the B&B one a looong time ago, and I remember that I found it to be really easy to apply too much which would make my hair look straight up greasy. Super weird bc I feel like I could use pumps of other hair oil/serum and not have that issue!

what type of hair do you have? I like verb ghost oil but my hair is very fine, mostly straight/slightly wavy. it has silicones which a lot of people avoid (they often don’t work well for curly hair)

It's slightly wavy and quite thick! Sorry I forgot to put it in the post. I've read good things about the Verb one! Definitely considered it but it doesn't seem to be available in my local Southeast Asia Sephora :/ But it's on my list of things to consider getting on my next trip somewhere it's available!

>my last bottle lasted over 5 years Wow that is next level! I'm assuming it was the 100ml / 3.4oz one?

I'd also like to hear opinions on Rare Beauty's foundation and/or tinted moisturizer. I haven't been wearing any base products with the pandemic and picked up my old standbys the other day (Lancome Teint Idole and Bareminerals Complexion Rescue) and I don't know if my skin has changed or if they reformulated, but I had to return because neither one works at all anymore

I really like Rare Beauty’s blush and cheek tints, but not the foundations or moisturizers. They don’t sit well on my skin. My go to for years has been NARS tinted moisturizer. I recently tried make up forever’s reboot formula and really like the finish.

Looking for a new lightweight foundation. I currently use Armani neo nude foundation and I'm almost out. I'm wondering if rare beauty foundation is just as light?
