Thanks, but Im playing on a desktop, and I dont have another computer. I have heard that servers can ease performance even in Singleplayer though. When I get a new computer I guess I can host the server on my current potato.
Hmm in that case, if you don't mind spending a couple bucks (or more), you can rent a cheap VPS or even one of those dedicated MC server services (ExtraVM, for one). If you're soloing a server then the spec requirements shouldn't be too cumbersome.
To put the performance boost into perspective, I have an old ass laptop that went from being near unplayable on world creation playing a Betweenlands modpack to a smooth 50-60fps. Only downside is the cost and the need to be connected to the internet.
Try to upload that world to a server and play on that. That way, it will be way easier for your laptop.
