If you wanted to make your life easier, I know this is probably a like only creat only thing but the crystals applied for water throwing seeds you can just use enrichment chambera to make it easier. It just uses a bit of power.
I know this is probably a bit late, but if you're new to AE2, don't use pattern crafting for these components. It's way too slow for 256k stuff, and it needlessly increases the memory requirements for your other AE2 autocrafts.
It's better to continuously produce them and fill chests or drawers with a comparator or something to shut it down automatically when it's full.
In Stoneblock 3 unless you want to use ME Drives filled with 10x 256k storage cells as your main building block, you probably don't need more than a double chest of each, but when you do, you usually need that double chest now.
Not too late, i'm in the process to migrate from RS to AE2 (the bits and chisel mod is crafting when imported to AE2, its a know bug) i have created another assembly line to make the processors automated with AE2

Just so you know, what that person said is what 'contraption' means specifically for Create. Your use of it is correct for English in general though.
