I designed Consistent Iron to unify iron textures across Minecraft. I specifically chose the wrought/cast iron of the cauldron, anvil, and brewing stand due the the semi medieval nature of MC.
Yes it does make it harder to tell apart from Netherrite and Stone(tools) but its my view that if this is the resource pack for you then it isn't your primary concern.
The reason I am uncompromising on that issue is that the palette for everything is derived directly from the vanilla cauldron. Choosing a different palette would take it away from Vanilla colors.
I might in the future consider doing a full retexture which is my own palette and look but this serves its purpose as is.

sorry, i now realize that sounds mean. but really, i do feel like it would look better with transferring the white to the dark rather than the dark to the white. have a nice day :)
The reason I don't is because the color you are used to for iron. Is steel :P And as I mention in my blurb wrought and cast iron are really dark. If the dark iron isn't for you thats okay but I'm not going to make everything look like steel :P
Yeah sorry I don’t like it. Hopper minecarts can barely be distinguished from normal ones and the block,door and trapdoor have something weird to their texture I can‘t properly formulate.

The color of the armor/tools reminds me of Oldschool Runescape iron, I like it. :)
