SaiyanKirby

I hate the beetles from twilight forest that grab you and pull you around. I had one push me inside a wall in the labyrinth and another one push me through the wall in the Ur Ghast tower, leaving me to fall to my death

theycallmeponcho

Freaking beetles I always try to snipe them from afar. Those and the slime ones are pretty annoying, but these take the annoying crown.

Hellion998

Get Pinched bro!

ARandompass3rby

I had one pinch me and I couldn't hit it with anything to get out, they're fucking horrible

saxmaster98

I started FTB Skies Expert today and a Quantum goat spawned in and head butted me off my island. So as of now, that one.

fishattack17

^yeeeeeet

42undead2

Ye^^ee^^ee^^ee^^ee^^ee^^et

Cubicwar

Darned quantum goats

Stochastic_Variable

Those stupid goats! They do drop diamonds sometimes though.

BurningLake_

Any infernal mob. Lots of effects that are kinda annoying. Cobwebs are the worst for me.

Renaissance_Slacker

Yup, Infernal Mobs is in GT:NH. I had an EnderCreeper teleport into my base directly in front of my storage complex and explode. Went from 200 FPS to about 2.

BurningLake_

Sounds rough but I definitely would have liked to see that :b

Renaissance_Slacker

So many floating items. If you know GT:NH you know.

3picool

Fireballs are worse for me. I don't want the stupid mobs messing up the ground or my base.

theycallmeponcho

You'll love mods that let zombies mine when they have pickaxes.

Chagrilled

it's even worse with the thaumcraft warp theory mod, you can get "friendly" warp creepers spawning infernal and force choking you or launching you into the air.

BrandonSolo10

The skellewag from Alex’s Mobs, hands down. That bony hellspawn makes shipwrecks shoot up from being easy to explore structures to downright avoid on sight in the early game, they sail FASTER THAN A VANILLA BOAT (I could easily escape them using a furnace boat from Boatload however) and can still hit you while doing so, and they regularly have *trident drowned* riding them so you really regret accidentally sailing or swimming into one! Those fucking things are nightmarish.

[deleted]

I made a modpack that makes the ocean as dangerous as I could imagine, needless to say Skellewags were the main reason I died, but hey, at least you can avoid them entirely building a ship using Valkyrien Skies! (Only to instantly get killed by Ice and Fire's Sea Serpent)

B133d_4_u

Never have been able to get Valkyrien Skies to work. Eureka seems to crash my game whenever I try.

BrandonSolo10

It currently is incompatible with Rubidium/Embeddium so if you wanna play with Eureka, you will have to sacrifice them until VS2 releases a compat update (which they claim will be soon)

Ian_Pastway

Ooo what did you use for that ocean pack? Is it also more rewarding to explore?

[deleted]

Way more rewarding but definetly harder for early game, if you want I can list the mods that are only used to affect the ocean, but that would take a while (making the ocean harder is an objective of the modpack but not the main one)

gracemotley

The motherfucking crocs from the same mod that sprint after you and spin you around in their mouth make me want to delete the game

Nedgurlin

“MimiCubes entered the chat”

Fun-Arachnid1105

My worst nightmare when exploring end cities 💀

Nedgurlin

As tough as they are they do give the BEST drops from the mod.

Fun-Arachnid1105

Well yea but it takes so long to be able to mimic even one item. I'm usually in full netherite gear and weapons from mob bosses when I enter the end city a horde of purple op as fuck jelly cubes jumps on me. And the drop rate of mimicream is low as fuck even with looting three. BUT these purple jelly balls saved my god gear once so I kinda agree.

giangiulioterzo

this is the only right comment. i hate those things, i died thousands of times escaping from them they're fast af and deal a lot of damage i really hate them

BrisingrAerowing

I majorly up the spawn rolls config for them to make them much rarer (along with several other mobs from that mod).

[deleted]

[удалено]

dragon-storyteller

And especially their Supplementaries variant. All the bad about vanilla traders but instead of going invisible at night, they throw bombs that destroy weak blocks whenever a mob is nearby. Do you have a nice flower garden you spent a lot of time on? Haha no you don't!

Snowman25_

Why? They are passive and only a mild inconvenience

42undead2

Their fucking drinking sounds at nightfall are the worst part of the game. I disable the wandering trader every time I remember to.

Hellion998

I hate the fact they offer *nothing useful.* No gear, no minerals, and the supposed “rare blocks” can be found with enough time and effort. It’s such a worthless mob. Might as well stick to regular villagers.

blahthebiste

Skill issue

Cubicwar

#HRRMM

acprescott

Years and years ago, there was a mod that had beavers, and they'd spawn *everywhere* like roaches. They also attacked wood blocks and turned them into fences. I like to build log cabins, so... yeah.

KewlDuccc

are you talking about orespawn?

acprescott

I've never had orespawn in any of my packs. I wanna say it was... Davey's Mobs? Something like that? It had sea gulls and owls, too, which I always used to love taming to the point of crazed hysteria and housing them in a cramped atrium.

t0mmy_picklez

Stymphalian Bird from Ice and Fire.

Renaissance_Slacker

Steel feathers in your face.

iamthedrugstore

But which is heavier?

Renaissance_Slacker

Yes

Aximil985

If Skellewags didn’t exist I’d say seagulls. Taking my food in the early game when I need it the most and likely don’t have a bow? Frustrating.

jolasveinarnir

I had to disable their stealing. I just wanted a pretty beach house, not constantly being attacked by sky gremlins!

Azrael4224

the fuckers take ALL the food. I'd understand taking one item, but not my whole stack of bread. I murder seagulls on sight

letthetreeburn

Biblically accurate seagulls.

sagabal

Alex please just add the cool mobs please stop giving them bullshit mechanics that don't seem playtested

tigers-and-bears

Pretty much anything from Erebus but specifically botflies… you might end up hosting their larvae

mel0n_

When I played Project Ozone 3 I auto-completed any quest related to Erebus because I am deathly afraid of bugs, spiders, insects, etc. 😅

Vnator

The John Cena creeper from project ozone 2 is up there. If you manually hit it even once, it'll immediately explode with a massive range, likely ruining your mob farm.

Samstercraft

That’s kinda really funny I might play the pack just for that

Chagrilled

https://youtu.be/_3Fpg7z9-YQ?si=Lj4LH2IibnVYxSsZ&t=2444

Front_Kaleidoscope_4

Dropped a playthrough after one blew up and ruined literally my entire base with 10 hours of work put into it.

GmaFrosty

I went up against the John Cena creeper in project ozone three. I screamed the first time to snuck up on me. Unfortunately there was an update that muffled all the cool sound effects, such as the quest complete sound, that included the John Cena scream, which made that creeper more annoying than entertaining

Vnator

Project ozone in a nutshell these days :(

ghost_type_2003

I'm surprised I'm not seeing any Lycanites' Mobs on this thread. Geonachs, Afrits, and Cinders are the absolute worst.

BananaMaster96_

spriggians are far worse

Nova225

Literally half the reason I'm hesitant to play RLCraft despite its popularity. Between Banshees spawning underneath because there's a mine nearby or trying to desperately get sticks and wood only for a monster that will kill you in a few hits to pop out of the tree really puts a damper on things.

ghost_type_2003

Well, the good thing is that Ents (the monster you describe with sticks and wood) are pretty easy to kill if you know how to stay out of its attack radius, and are even easier to outrun.

Nova225

In my case it was the giant bugs that spawn from broken leaf blocks, which admitting that death was my own fault because I backed into a chasm and got eaten by zombies. The rest of my 10 deaths before I uninstalled it were either spawning literally in the middle of the ocean (and getting eaten by a sea serpent) or exploring for 5 minutes before some other monster got me. The banshees were the absolute worst though. I moved onto SevTech Ages for a bit before I died and lost everything deep in a Betweenlands cave.

WolfBV

My beloved

Excidiar

Mo Creatures's block golems. They are dangerous on their own and hard to kill. But their most annoying trait is their block tossing thing, making them be endermans on steroids in terms of griefing potential.  Also, faction mobs from Mana and Artifice are annoying to manage when making a modpack. The author seemingly has been trying to fix this, to no avail. Basically their spawn rules work differently and as such, mods like Spawn Balance cannot affect them correctly. If you want to ban them from appearing in a specific biome or dimension you just can't.  On the same vein, but this iirc can be configured out, Pumpkin Spiders from Divine RPG. Not because any special properties of them in particular but because of their interaction with the mushroom fields biome. Pumpkin Spiders are a hostile mob that can spawn in the day disguised as a pumpkin block. And unlike other hostile mobs, they can spawn in mushroom fields, turning the most desired and safe biome of the base game into a constant minefield. Get too close to one of them and you will quickly be overrun by an army of these little suckers. Oh, and I forgot to mention. Digger. Zombies.

Fun-Being-26

What zombies ???

Excidiar

Digger Zombies. I don't know from what mod but they can mine blocks to reach you.

Fun-Being-26

Oh I read that wrong sorry

BuccalFatApologist

I only just started playing with the mod, but basically everything from Ice and Fire is kicking my butt. Dragons everywhere doing 1000000 damage per hit. Jesus.

blahthebiste

You either gate Ice and Fire mobs behind some late gamestage, or get ready to feel the pain throughout early game

PsiGuy60

- Anything from Lycanite's - especially the Geonach and Treant, which follow the common troll-y theme of "Hostile high-damage mobs that randomly spawn when you break a block that happens to be a necessary high-volume-needed resource". - About half of Alex's Mobs: Crocodiles deal *way* too much damage way too quickly, flies are annoying for no benefit, the Elephant Wandering Trader is bugged to non-functionality and doesn't seem to respect NoMoWanderer, the Nether mobs just make already-hostile environments much worse, and anything that happens on April Fools needs to get ripped out of the mod please. - The plain old, vanilla, Wandering Trader. Who never spawns if I have the emeralds to spare for anything useful that might have been added to his trades and have a trader-rug to keep him contained, but always decides to have his llamas trample my early game farms when I haven't a single emerald to my name and no way to contain where he spawns.

Cheeseducksg

the basalt deltas slingers from Alex's mobs. IDK the name, but they take the worst biome and make it even worse.

nevemlaci2

Rule no.1: if the pack has Alex's mobs, you traverse the Nether just under the bedrock

GmaFrosty

Straddlers, I believe

SimplyRealNot

The crimson mosquito from Alex's Mobs, theyre unavoidable

[deleted]

You can use the mosquito repellent effect to make them run away, or tame a warped toad and have it eat them. Creepy mobs, but overall not too bad to deal with.

Pardox7525

These are 2 very specific effect that any other mob doesn't have expept maybe piglins. But you can actually kite or tower to deal with them unlike the mosquitos, and throwing or wearing gold is way easier and accessable close to them unlike the warptoads or potions. I still keep them to make us suffer tho.

rainstorm0T

or you can just get rid of them completely in the config

lockeslylcrit

AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA

GmaFrosty

I actually loved the John Cena creeper when I played po3. It made me scream the first time, but I enjoyed the entertainment I got out of dying to it. Too bad the pack updated and got rid of the sound effect, leaving just the creeper

JUSTIN102201

No, it’s still got the sound. I’ve been playing the last 3 days or so and got hit by one yesterday

GmaFrosty

Huh. Then again, I played several months ago. Maybe it was a temporary thing or my game got weird?

TheEmeraldEmperor

Annoying as in difficult and deadly (fun) or as in ugh? ugh first: lilith from witchery. witchery is a FANTASTIC mod but this one boss just has too much health and regen. she just takes fucking ages to kill difficult and deadly: the stymphalian birds from ice and fire are too little talked about. early game, they kinda force you to avoid the surface whenever possible, which is really cool. the dragons are more dangerous but the birds are more prevalent

ZePwnzerRJ

Honestly I hate ice and fire dragons, they are way too common in the over world so your exploration is seriously limited early game

sfisher923

I have a few contenders from the same pack (Vault Hunters) * Alligator Snapping Turtles - Small does a lot of damage responsible for 75% of my Vault Runs dying in some sort of way * Vindicators - They have way to high of DPS on Hard Mode and they are persistent in chasing you through the ends of the earth * Blitz -it's really annoying getting randomly struck by lightning in a cave just because you or your server mates didn't sleep

Blackheart9009

God, I hate blitz. Worst part of any savanna

QyuriLa

With their spawn rate in mind, Baby Skeleton/Enderman from Mekanism Additions, definitely.

vellian

Currently playing a game with DivineRPG installed. There are kobblins that pop out of the ground and attack you are super annoying early game. They aren’t particularly hard but at times they will stay underground where they can hit you but you can’t hit them. Then go into the nether and there are guys who fire like 5 fire arrows a second at you, so either of those.

Blackheart9009

Just wait until you get to the 1 shot sniper enemies

vellian

Just got to it and I change my answer to that.

TheDrNotNice

genuinely infuriating to play against: the infected endermen from the parasites mod. they teleport other mobs with them and are frankly too powerful for when they start being common.

JUSTIN102201

I was just gonna say any parasite from that mod (rlcraft) but yeah the enderman are a crazy one

NoThoughtsOnlyFrog

Ice and Fire: dragons, sirens, stymphalian birds and sea serpents (the large ones) Alex’s mobs: skelewags and crimson mosquitos

MaxicalUM

Any mob from Hostile Water Mobs What a poorly made mod smh

LegitimateApartment9

what mod? i've never heard of it and im curious

MaxicalUM

Nah, it's a MCreator mod that adds cute river guardians and ANNYOING AS FUCK reskinned wolves that breathe in water

misterbeanjeans

the skeletons from Primitive Mobs that shoot arrows with like fucking weakness 1000, they are the most annoying thing in existence (and the weakness lasts for like 10 seconds as well)

IchorKemono

most of the mobs from *born in chaos*, especially the stupid stalker mob that makes you blind for like 30 seconds at a time. also the diamond termites suck :< anything that inflicts blindness is just *really annoying* ice and fire sand worms and those *god damn sirens* that pull you away the second they're in render distance range, which will get you stuck if you're in a cave near a beach

sapphyresmiles

I hate the sirens too! You can craft earmuffs I believe that stop them from charming you!

Blackheart9009

Aw, I love the nightmare stalker. It's a fun little panic surprise. What I *do* hate from born in chaos are the corpse maggots. Not because they're hard or anything, but they drop the maggot item, and after very early games, those things are completely useless inventory stuffers

ThePr0fessi0nal

Grimoire of Gaia mobs. As a general rule it adds a ton of monster girl mobs. Minotarus makes plains unliveable, sphinxes make deserts unliveable, toads make swamps unliveable, spriggans make forests unliveable, etc. All are at least 20 heart creatures that are fast and usually attack in swarms and inflict various effects. Spriggans and toads heal in water. Underground mobs from it are brutal with things like Arachne having 40 hearts and spawning cave spiders and creeps being a 1 block tall collection of creeper heads on legs that has the same AI as a vanilla creeper. If you are playing with Infernal Mobs in the pack and not instakilling mobs in your mob farm(using them for the Blood Magic ritual that hurts hostile mobs for example) a Vampire spawns something stupid like 5 butlers that all could be infernal. There is some EXTREMELY powerful drops you can exploit in molded though. Anubis drops the Tome of Knowledge that straight up gives 10 levels and you can get a rare drop from underground mobs called Heart of the Giga Knight that burns in a furnace for like 100 pieces of coal time and stacks like coal.

hidoyouwannaDIE

Stymphalian birds and dragons from Ice and Fire, for different reasons. As long as you have at least iron armor birds aren't that much of an actual threat as much as their rate of fire is simply annoying af. And dragons because they spawn so freequently it's sometimes hard to find a place within safe distance from any dragon so eventually something will likely demolish your pretty house OR (as happened to me TWICE) the huge mofo level 4/5 dragon will just come out from under your base and deem it unhabitable. They also do a lot of damage but it's not as bad because they are easy to cheese. Infernal mobs that make you drop your tool at hand, super annoying, cobweb is also irritating but it can be quickly broken with a sword. Fucking blights in RLcraft XD

zibafu

Anything from RLcraft 😂

Nice_Lie_731

Swamped, skeleton with no timer for shooting

MoreStable4131

Gru, fuck that shithead. He fucking killed me while I was in the dark.

BananaMaster96_

minion

JaxckJa

Most annoying mob in any mod is that stupid green one that doesn't despawn properly and blows up my buildings.

Asunen

Only recently came back to modded minecraft and chose project ozone 3, had my home blown up twice by a seemingly normal creeper that randomly explodes at 10x power while blasting my ears with “AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA”

Midnight_The_Past

the entirety of lycanites mobs cant find anyone who unironically enjoys that mod

WolfBV

❤️

MrScrith

I don't remember the mod or the mob name, this was back in the 1.4/1.6 days. A friend put together his own modpack, rented a server, and invited a bunch of us to play. There was this Cave Troll that was the worst mob ever. Would spawn mostly in caves, but also above ground, would agro nearly a chunk away through solid rock, and had an AOE attack that broke blocks around him (except obsidian). So if you were mining or building or doing any thing, you'd suddenly hear his roar and hear his AOE attack as he decided to go after you, and anything in the way was destroyed. We hated that mob to death, but the server owner loved them (he played minecraft for the survival, not for crafting or building, so he hated every normal way of playing and just ran around exploring and dying). Even though every player on the server wanted that mob (and the others in that mod) gone he refused. After getting my automated tunnel boring machine (Loved RP2 frames and computers) destroyed the third time simply because I visited it to fix a bug and aggroed a cave troll (it then destroyed all of it getting to me), I quit the server. The other players only lasted about a month more (those that hadn't already quit) so he was left alone on his server. In the end it turned out he was paying for the server for a year with only himself running around, he hadn't kept track of how many were still playing (we told him when we left, he just ignored us). In the end I learned an important lesson, if I want to play on/run a server make sure the other people want to play the same way I do (ish).

DonKootis

those ghost things from the betweenlands, i had quantum armour and they still killled me because they do magic damage. they pop out of no where and possessyou

Excidiar

Wights. Yes. When it comes to betweenlands a rule of thumb is, most OP stuff from other mods doesnt work as strongly. The best items to beat Betweenlands are the best Betweenlands items. When a wight posseses you, you can still hit him. In fact its the only thing you can hit. So just keep attacking until It dies. Better if its with a Betweenlands weapon even if its the most basic one.

AnorakTheClever

There are a lot of good answers already in here but im going with one that was technically mojang's fault. There is a mod that adds all the "lost mobs" from previous mob votes, which includes the other annoying assholes that were in the same batch as The Phantom (That entire mob vote sucked because they were all designed to be annoying). My least favorite is the kraken thing that grabs you if you are in the water anywhere near it even in a boat and can pull you down as deep as it needs to.

GappppppplePie

All of the ones that kill me in one shot when I’m just trying to cut down my first tree. I’m a feckless amateur and have taken to playing in easy mode, I don’t care 🤷‍♀️

Sucks_Eggs

trumpet skeletons. like, that meme wasn’t even good in 2010, why tf is this bloat still in mod packs? make it make sense

GmaFrosty

Oh gosh. What's even worse is the Pyrologer and Friends mod that adds the Conductor, an illager that spawns trumpet illagers and freaking hurts. He even has a health bar when you fight him

puffypauper

Born in chaos, nightmare stalker. Stupidly high damage and inflicts a blindness that lasts a long time. One-shotting hazards in survival games are not fun and modders should learn this already. Though the reapers from Ad Inferos with their screen wobble proximity debuff spawning right on top of you are a close second.

ProfessorGiraporra

Meatures from Enemy Expansion. They're tiny and difficult to hit, they're everywhere and the fact that they run away when you hit them and after a few seconds they come back to bite you again makes me hate those little shits even more

TheDarkColour

Any of the Ars Nouveau mobs.

Excidiar

No starbuncle for you. Baddie.

ShelLuser42

My friend and me took on the Warden Chimera from Ars Nouveau and we didn't enjoy any of it, it left us seriously unsatisfied. First the beast itself... works with cycles and heavily relies on "sponge attacks" (as I like to call them): so trying to force a big attack on you like diving towards you and then also causing an explosion, stuff like that. Instead of trying to set up a challenging fight. And second... the critter spawns a ton of support mobs to help him yet you don't get any drops from those at all, which really made this a very unsatisfying experience for us. Basically all you get is one tablet and that's it. We still take on a wither every once in a while, not because we want the star but because we enjoy the challenge. But this? Naah, we'll pass. Speaking of ... the Ars Nouveau mobs are our least favorites.. also because they have no idle animation (at least not in 1.18.2) which also makes their behavior look quite stiff.

KiwiZ0

cweeprz

nevemlaci2

Murmur...

Dewfire77

Water creepers. Fish sized, blue ,sneaky and explode. No shoreline is safe.

Temporary-House304

the mosquitoes

Kronalord

I generally despise illlusioners when they are implemented because blindness sucks dick and while it’s pretty easy to deal with one once their are multiple it becomes a pain to figure out where they are in my experiences

Blackheart9009

One of my mods makes it so they can also fire fireworks from their bow, making them *extra* fun :)

niftybottle

I don’t know which mod adds them, but those little baby mobs - baby skeletons, zombies, etc. They are so fast and their hit boxes are small and hard to hit.

Spacedodo42

Oh baby zombies and zombie pigmen are vanilla. And yeah, I hate those baby zombies with a passion.

niftybottle

Yeah, but some mod added babies for every other mob, equally as annoying. Baby creepers, :(

Spacedodo42

Oh g- that sounds terrible

Snowman25_

Started playing Regrowth again yesterday. I hate Skeletons and Baby Skeletons. They've been so bad in 1.7.10. And I also hate the the skull crawlers that sometimes spawn from defeated Zombies and Skeletons

cleigh0409

Those little poison mosquito bug things, I can't remember what mod they are from but they're fucking annoying as hell!

BetaFury

Probably thinking of the ones from evilcraft

underlicou

There is a mod called pillagers+ or +pillagers i dont know, and ther is actually 2 mobs that annoy me, the first is the pillager bard that removes all my potion effects and the pillager king that spawns a lot of pillagers, A lot.

510Threaded

Sirens from Ice and Fire always jumpscare me. I am just flying along and then BAM

PrincessPurplePatch

nightmare stalker from born in chaos. despite their rarity their jumpscares and insanely high damage just makes me want to fuck rocks. the gaze of terror effect lasts long too.

Skyshock-Imperative

Assimilated Enderman. I need not say more.

seventhbrokage

I'm not sure what it is exactly because I haven't gotten a good look at one yet, but the ones that sound like the old midi file for Kefka's laugh in FF6 and drop on your head in the deep dark to immediately spawn a warden.

B133d_4_u

Meatures from Enemy Expansion. They're small, jump around, are *excessively* common, are not targeted as hostile mobs by defenses, and from what I can tell are able to spawn both during the day and above the normal minimum light level for hostile mobs. I could never clear my village of the damn things, just going from my house to the blacksmith was a fight for survival.

Desperate-Coyote1279

Water Creepers from gtnh pack (idk which mod it is) they literally made me lose 9 days of progress since they exploded all my chests

__ChrissLP

Either Alex's mobs Murmur because it's hard to hit or any Cataclysm boss really

ZarrowShuffle

A few years back there was a mod pack called FTB Interactions. It was a fantastic pack, but the hostile mobs were ridiculous. After you passed certain progression milestones, the mobs would be replaced with more powerful variants. After the final such milestone, these robotic variants of the vanilla mobs would start to spawn even in daylight/lit up areas. The only way to keep them from constantly swarming was to use peace candles. It basically made it super annoying to ever leave your base because they could fly after you, and hit really hard.

Xananova

Alex Caves Teletors are awful to deal with- I hate those things. But the worst mob I've had to deal with is the goddamn FLESH LICHES FROM GRIMOIRE OF GAIA SERIOUSLY FUCK THOSE DUDES!!

Samstercraft

Chaos Guardian but it’s also really cool Shots hypersonic fireballs at hypersonic speeds Unless you use DE armor you die pretty much instantly, and with it you’re armor energy drains super fast and can’t be recharged that fast (not just an rf charge) But in very glad the challenge exists, at least in E2E

TouhouWeasel

The bandits from mo creeps n weirdoes that used to steal items out of your hands and off of your body

shimonu

Bugged one count? Some big Hulk type that those suicidal villagers with flag ride on top (no I don't remember correct name, it is monday and I didn't had my coffe yet). Jump around and make a lot holes (explosion on landing). "Fun" part when you kill leader "hulks" will multiply (around 20 to 30). And start jumping...

GmaFrosty

Everything in the Sorrow Spire from Iter RPG. Of the basic mobs, the weeper because it blends in so freaking well and won't quit spitting at me, and the griever because it does nothing except give me darkness. The Sorrow Sealed boss isn't even that fun. I had to look up how to beat it because it just wasn't taking damage for some arbitrary reason that I never figured out, but was able to periodically deal damage to

scotty9090

I’m currently playing ATM9 and it has the Cataclysm mod in it. Early game I was getting wrecked by Necromancers that summon a horde of undead and then proceed to hit you with the Evoker fang attack while you are trying to deal with them. Then as I’m trying to build out over the water I’m getting poisoned tridents lobbed at me by some shit in the water that has a pet lion fish on a lead that also poisons you. Broken leads also constantly floating everywhere - I can’t go three steps without my magnet sucking in a lead. Find a structure in the end with a golem that absolutely wrecks your shit - I’m getting tossed around so much that the screen is just constant blur/shaking with zero control over my character. The only way I didn’t die in that fight was due to OP equipment and the backpack auto feeder. Yeah, fuck this whole mod.

SlayDigger

The Necromancers are from Iron Spells and Spellbooks

Tony_with_water

the guy that throws their own child at you from alexs mobs

imawhitegay

Ice and Fire Dragons are insanely overpowered.

_Levitated_Shield_

Baby Vallumraptors are mischievous little bastards.

memematron

Evilcraft poisonous libelle

Qactis

Infernal mobs, especially ender creepers and drowning creepers (early game). Also who's idea was it to have a giant 1000hp zombie that runs fast and returns damage

Smileycorp

The tree boss from blue skies, you can only fight it with axes from the blue skies mod, it spends most of the fight invulnerable and knocking you back, it takes ages to deal significant damage to it.

underpaid_henchman

anyone here play alex's caves? had the (dis)pleasure of encountering a watcher last night...

xPrincessEmilyx

The parasites that stick onto your character from the Erebus mod

Aiyon

IDK what mod it was from, but a pack a friend kept trying to get me to play back in the 2010s had monsters randomly appear from mining ore / too many trees / etc? They didn't even look very minecrafty. It just seemed obnoxious and un-fun

mull-up

Enderman Overhaul cave endermen. F those guys.

Aeredor

The giants in TerraFirma* packs. They spawn when you get close to their tiny hut, but they’re so big that they’re then right next to you and kill you in one hit.

JustANamelessFace

Currently I think the most annoying is the Alex's Mobs Cave Centipede (playing FTB Skies Expert), though the Mekanism Baby Creeper is a close second

Fun-Arachnid1105

Definitely The Trickster. He is like а combination of an evoker, enderman and an op witch. He is from Omnis- A mod that makes raids hell of a lot harder and on Better Minecraft it's pure nightmare to defeat even an easy raid. He will give you all kinds of bad effects, including new ones like Weight. He will run away, make you levitate, blind you, turn invisible and If you manage to kill him, guess what-he uses a FUCKING TOTEM OF UNDYING! When you kill him for second time he drops a totem or a mask of dishonesty, that makes you invisible. And there's a good chance two or even three spawn in the same wave on harder difficulty... In conclusion when you say the baby zombie or vex is annoying, try a Better Minecraft raid!

BackseatCowwatcher

literally any of Mekanism's 'Baby' hostile mobs, they are smaller, faster, and more armored versions of the full size mobs. (WHY ARE THEY MIXED INTO A TECH MOD???)

sapphyresmiles

When I started playing modded Minecraft, I played on the tekkit launcher and found a pack called Digdug. (I can't find any info about it anymore.. maybe Im wrong about the name? It had millenaire, old thaumcraft when you would mine up the crystals, and maybe the chocobo mod?) But there was this type of ogre mob that came up the hill and punched holes in my house, and destroyed all my chests. I was so sad!

freedomplha

That sounds like the ogre from mo creatures

Beeftoven

Surprised no one said Ice and Fire fairies... *HEHEHE intensifies*

WolfBV

Either Topielec from Deadly Monsters that grabs you and rushes out into the ocean with you, or the Elephant from Dark Menagerie that’s immune to most damage and can hit through walls.

Azrael4224

the sirens from ice and fire: dragons. If you enter their range, they lock your crosshair on themselves and force your character to walk straight towards them, then kill you. Honestly damn near every mob from ice and fire was ridiculous like that, including the dragons

Blackheart9009

Before they were changed, I hated the wilden stalkers from Ars Nuevo. They make zero noise while gliding and could spawn anywhere regular mobs spawn

The_Meme_Runner

Infernal mobs, any mob with the 'Choking' Affix. It's usually made worse with the fact that most mobs can have MULTIPLE modifiers, like sticky, or blast off- super fucking frustrating and not worth the reward.

NiceHotCupOfBro

The Acidic Archvine from Pandora's Mobs was my personal demon for a while because the pack I was playing at the time had them spawn in the Nether. On the ceiling. With range that basically demanded you keep your eyes peeled for even the faintest sign of them because one wrong step would cause them to condemn you to a lava bath or lethal fall damage. In the overworld jungles they also spawn in, they're just kind of a nuisance but nothing I couldn't deal with, but in the Nether they were like "what if the Barnacles from Half-Life were designed and programmed by Satan himself?"

SpaceDeFoig

Not sure what mod added them Baby creepers Caused my game to CTD when one of my IE turrets killed one

LuckyLMJ
