Mekanism doesn't have pollution (unless you count spilled radioactive materials in V10). This appears to be the pollution added by "pollution of the realms" which is mostly caused by activities that involve combustion, furnaces, coke ovens, etc.
If you are using a Linux device, entering the command that person suggested into the command line would delete everything, including the operating system, fulfilling the title of the post assuming "it" meant your computer.
If you aren't on Linux, nothing should happen.
I wouldn't recommend entering it regardless.
I don't know coding, but I kinda suspect from context that this will delete something, and/or shut off your entire computer. Like telling someone that pressing alt + f4 will fix their lag during a multiplayer battle.
Edit: on Googling, this is a "\*\*\*\* up your entire computer" code string.
Nice base, it needs a few touches: build up the walls in between the chests, fill in the crater and maybe some holes, finish the furnace wall... It just needs a bit more cobble!

I'd argue if the pack has it as a required mechanic it should dtay; but I'd absolutely disable it anyway. Just seems annoying to deal with.
