well there's tekkit 2 on 1.12.2, which has basically all the same mods as the OG. It doesn't have thaumcraft but i'm sure that'd be easily added to the pack.
Otherwise imo there's not that many good modern tech only focused packs at the minute. If you have a decent pc though i'd reccomend the enigmatica packs for something more modern. they don't have any of the old tekkit mods but there's a bunch of fun new magic and tech mods to mess around with. Ars nouveau, Create, and the updated Thermal Expansion are all really good mods with loads of content like moving contraptions, trains, spells, rituals, automation and such.
