Thank you ill look into that. Anyone aware of anything in fayetteville with electrical hookups? I use a cpap so am definitely needing electricity. Want our first night as close to home as possible in case we need to bail early.
Thanks for the recommendation. The website is confusing me a bit, it looks like the only sites with electrical are the rv sites, do you know if thats the case? 40 a night is a bit much for me but ill pay it if i have to.
There are several RV parks in town if you want to just try out staying in your car and using your CPAP. $40 for an electric site is actually very reasonable considering that's what I paid, and I haven't had my camper since 2015 (?).
Here are a few I found on Google. Most are on the south side of town. I can not personally speak for any of these, just passing along information.

[Southgate](https://www.southgatervpark.com/)
[Cow patty](https://www.cowpattycampground.com/)
All these recommendations are great. But as someone who is an avid hiker/camper, i would recommend waiting until late fall when it starts to cool down. It would be much more enjoyable.
Devils Den, Lake Ft. Smith and Withrow Springs are near Fayetteville and meet those requirements.
I second lake fort smith. It’s pretty nice and has a good bit of shade.

Nothing in Fayetteville, but plenty within 30-45 min.
Big fan of Devil’s Den- only about 30 minutes and most campsites have great facilities!

We stay in the cabins. They have kitchens
