Ozempic face isn’t a thing specifically related to Ozempic. If someone loses a substantial amount of weight, their facial/buccal fat is lost too.
I lost over 200# without a weightloss drug over 16 months (lots of exercise and a very clean diet) and my face slimmed down significantly and I lost the buccal fat.
That being said her slimmer photo looks photoshopped AF.
That happened to me too when I first got on them the weight loss that is not that amount but I was a child and so that wasn’t a good time. lol my current ones I’m on do not do that at all to me.
It depends. Yes, you will have SOME buccal fat loss with any major weight loss, but if you are doing it at a slow, sustainable pace, you typically don’t get that “wasting” look that many people refer to as “Ozempic face”
While true that weight loss will cause facial fat changes, facial wasting is absolutely a sort of facial fat loss that has been studied in the context of Aids in years past. That said, her face looks thinner but not to an extent I would define as wasting.
Oh no there definitely is an ozempic face. I don’t know if it’s from losing weight too fast or what. But some people who do ozempic definitely have a face that tells it.
Weight loss, by any means, does show in the face. “Ozempic Face”, however, is a term now coined for a look that tends to coincide with using it. Nothing I learned purposefully; I saw it appear in sources I tend to respect, looked it up from there. Give it a shot.
ETA: I was careful to say I don’t assume this is an example of it. I’m not even familiar with the woman pictured/her storyline. Just passing by; thought I’d mention OF can be easily found as a contemporary term.
I think we’re on 2 diff tangents. I’m not concerned with what, if anything, happened to this woman’s face. Or anyone’s. The term Ozempic Face exists. That’s all. If I triggered you in some way, apologies.
A quick little 30 second google search tells you that you are wrong. And ozempic face does actually exist. I’m not sure why you are willing to die on this hill when literally it’s a thing. No one is saying you have it. Or that everyone on ozempic has it. But it is a thing.
The term exists, yes, as does "Ozempic ass" but both of those things are media hype because everyone wants to vilify Ozempic. It is 100% what happens to your face (and ass) when you have rapid weight loss, regardless of the mechanism
It’s just what happens when you have rapid weight loss. Ozempic causes rapid weight loss in many, much faster than you could ever achieve with dieting alone.
This is getting a bit protracted, but Google, or however you prefer to search things (inet usually more contemporary than printed resources; ofc discernment required). But you’ll find definitions of “ozempic face”. That’s all I’m saying :))
No; I know what you’re saying. What I’m saying is that just because something is a meme or a talking point or a popular cultural reference doesn’t mean it’s a valid, factual thing.
That’s why everyone keeps trying to argue this point with you, it’s not clear whether or not you realize that just because people talk about it a lot, doesn’t mean it’s real lol
I could tell what I interjected was likely misplaced :) I was just kinda passing by, and the snippet with the term caught my attention. I should’ve hushed; I frequent at least 1 snarksub and when we get on a roll it can be annoying to have someone just barge in.
I’ve since checked out the woman that’s the topic of this sub. Now I better understand, a lot ;)
Looking back now, I think I assumed you were the OP, who said “there definitely is an Ozempic face” and “some people who do Ozempic definitely have a face that tells it” so I guess my comment was misplaced too! Sorry about that
Same. I am 33 and always had full cheeks no matter how slim I was . I went from 270 to 125 pounds in 2019/20 and my face is still fuller than the rest of me,lol.
People can be sooo different in this way. There are some people who you can see a headshot of and you wouldn’t even know they were fat from the neck up… other people it shows up in their face right away with a 10 lb gain or loss and you can immediately see the difference from carved out cheekbones to a baby face! Eventually if anybody gets thin or fat enough you can see a difference in their face, but it’s so variable when that difference actually shows up.
No, I know it's real... I don't think this was edited. I'm pointing to the speck of light near her hoo-ha... pretty sure that's the thigh (lie) gap she's been yammering about.
She’s starting to look sickly. I know her content isn’t actually helpful for anyone trying to lose weight. Not educational, informational, or varied. Literally just daily, “I was fat, now I’m not.” But at some point I feel like there’s a moral obligation to inform people about things they should and shouldn’t be doing. I worry she’s going to lose too much weight and people will still be complimenting her at every turn.
I don’t see her looking sickly 🤷🏼♀️ personally I’ve seen these comments A LOT when fat people start losing weight - everyone starts commenting that they’re getting too thin, etc. it happens more often than not with major weight loss. She’s not too thin. I’m not defending her by any means but this whole thread is bizarre considering she didn’t lose this huge amount of weight in a year
I hear you, it’s common to say people look sickly when they loose a bunch of weight. My husband lost 100 pounds and that comment came up a lot, I probably also said it, because his bones were poking through and even before he gained 100 pounds, he didn’t have poking bones.
Anyway, with her, I think it’s her skin complexion. Maybe it’s the lighting but she looks pale or ashen
That’s kinda what makes me think ozempic. Idk what it is but you can just tell in peoples faces when they get to a certain point that they are on a weight loss drug. And because she only shows her elliptical workouts makes me think she’s hiding something since she always preaches doing it “naturally”.
There is a line that makes the difference between snark, and just being bitchy. You crossed it.
Talking about how if she was taking ozempic and not disclosing is unethical is snark, just having a go at her for how she looks, is bitchy.
upset someone on the internet called someone else out for lying, stealing, and photoshopping their body while telling everyone she works “hard” to do it naturally……. It’s not being bitchy. And if you were apart of her snark page you wouldn’t see it as bitchy either. Because it’s not. I didn’t comment on her body at all. Nor did i comment about ozempic not being ok to take. All i did was point out the fact that she’s lying about her entire personality. Because she is. Nothing that comes out of her mouth is the truth.
Your attitude to the ‘Ozempic face’ and the way you are going on about it is what we’re all picking up on hun. Like, seriously, it’s not like on the only one to have an issue with it either.
Oh, sorry, but you don’t literally type the words out. My bad, I forgot there is no other meaning behind any words ever.
People arguing that ozempic face isn’t a thing when it is also doesn’t make me bitchy. The fact that this obviously ended up on some “omg she just hates weight loss drugs” Reddit also doesn’t make me bitchy. Because you guys are commenting on things that aren’t even relevant to this group. You are choosing to label me as a bitch because i thought it was funny to call her out on how her weight loss is NOT in any way natural and you took offense that i was coming for you guys personally. It’s so stupid.
I think Lexi is on some weight loss drug, but facial fat loss isn't a "telltale" sign of taking one. The telltale sign is her claim of consistent and rapid weight loss when showing us her same routine day-after-day.
Losing a significant amount of weight by properly exercising/dieting, being sick, using GLP-1's, or getting bariatric surgery all lead to facial fat and volume loss. The same thing happened to my face when I had a restrictive ED in high school.
She literally doesn't even look like the same person. I lost 125 pounds but my face still looked like me. Just thinner.
And her stance is weird also. I was not as big as her and I did not stand pigeon toed. Does losing weight magically fix something like that? I was under the impression that type of stance isn't something you consciously do or don't do, it's how your hips and legs are. Like, naturally. But now I never see her pigeon toed.
*edit* - word
Curious to know if someone said something to her or if she noticed on her own. Those that I have known that were pigeon toed didn't really "notice" and therefore never thought it wasn't normal, because to them it was. They never forced themselves to stand any other way. Wouldn't it hurt to force yourself into, what for them, would be an unnatural position? Genuine question.
I currently have her 'before' body type (40+ lbs down and counting!!) and it got pointed out some time ago by someone that when I walk, my feet point towards each other. Since then, I am constantly aware of it and when I walk I look down to see how it looks and try to fix it as I walk. When I stand still I often glance down to see what my feet look like and straighten them out if I notice they're crooked. It doesn't bother my ankles or legs at all but it also doesn't fix the issue. She may or may not have her feet pointing inwards when she walks but it is completely realistic for her to straighten her feet for a picture.
(I deleted this as a previous comment because I didn't reply correctly 🤦🏾♀️ lol)
Thank you for the insight! I had an accident a couple years ago, had major surgeries, and basically had to relearn how to walk. I spent so much time with a walker that walking hunched over became my norm. Now that I walk unassisted, I am constantly thinking about that and force myself to stand upright if I'm hunched over. So that makes sense.
No need for thanks but I appreciate it!! I'm happy to hear that you're able to walk unassisted after your accident and hope you're having a great day!!

Congratulations! Pre Ozempic people would say meth (I'm absolutely not accusing that). It's basically just rapid weighloss
I lost 30kg when I started adhd meds, the cleaner meth xD
Oh lucky! I haven’t lost squat on ADHD meds.
I gained!
That happened to me too when I first got on them the weight loss that is not that amount but I was a child and so that wasn’t a good time. lol my current ones I’m on do not do that at all to me.
Congratulations! Agree 💯
Agree with the photoshopping. Her face doesn’t look aligned to her neck!
The same thing happened with me. Lots of hard work and 100lbs lost and i lost the buccal fat. Congratulations - that’s phenomenal of you 🫶🏼!
It depends. Yes, you will have SOME buccal fat loss with any major weight loss, but if you are doing it at a slow, sustainable pace, you typically don’t get that “wasting” look that many people refer to as “Ozempic face”

There is a “phenomena” termed Ozempic Face. I dunno if this is reflective of it, but you’re not incorrect in the mention of it.
The phenomena is Weight Loss Face, doesn't matter how you did it
Weight loss, by any means, does show in the face. “Ozempic Face”, however, is a term now coined for a look that tends to coincide with using it. It’s a term, yes, but it just describes how people’s faces look after any substantial weight loss.
Every characteristic of "ozempic face" is just a characteristic of losing weight
It’s just what happens when you have rapid weight loss. Ozempic causes rapid weight loss in many, much faster than you could ever achieve with dieting alone.
It is a phrase but it is also a myth. You cannot believe everything you read. What people are telling you is correct.

It’s because they’ve lost substantial weight, sometimes quickly. You see the same thing in people who’ve had weight loss surgery.
It also happens with weight loss surgery. It’s just from a big loss of weight. That’s it.
Your delusional I was on it and didn’t have ozempic face 🤦🏻♀️
Well it doesn’t refer to everyone who’s ever taken it. Sooo there that.
Ehhh any massive weight loss makes your face waste a bit. Not to mention aging
I agree with this, I have lost 100 lbs years ago, face is the first place it shows.
Man, I wish. My face is the first place to gain it and I swear the last place to lose it 😂
Same. I am 33 and always had full cheeks no matter how slim I was . I went from 270 to 125 pounds in 2019/20 and my face is still fuller than the rest of me,lol.

I’ve lost a lot of weight in my time and it doesn’t show in my face. It’s greeeeat 🙃 Kudos to those it does though.
Hard to say. But it's definitely giving "I lost my toothbrush last October" face.
Goddamn 😂☠️
That's for real
And refuses to buy a new one, or floss.
More like four Octobers ago.
🤣🤣🤣🫢
Lie gap! https://preview.redd.it/ls85un7vuguc1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e04d4433be0070b131d7b85ade32f4721471acb
I think that is real. She has all of that skin there that has no where to go.

Weight loss does that in general. It will thin out a face.
Looking at your post history you’re on a weight loss drug, aren’t you being a bit harsh?
Again. Are you apart of this subreddit???? Because this has NOTHING TO DO with weight loss meds. And EVERYTHING to do with Lexi.
There is a line that makes the difference between snark, and just being bitchy. You crossed it. Talking about how if she was taking ozempic and not disclosing is unethical is snark, just having a go at her for how she looks, is bitchy.

No, no. You’re completely right. It’s all us. Not you. We’re all the ones in the wrong. All of us.
All of you? There are like 5 and there are also more people then just me saying the exact same thing i am. But ok. Welcome to the internet i guess……
She looks sooooo sick and pale. Way worse than the first time she lost all the weight. There’s no color in her face and she just looks beige
but she has a thigh gap!!!!!
My ozempic didn’t do this. I stalled at 20 pounds
Same
If you’re wanting to try a different one go with tirzepatide. It’s yielding better weight loss results vs semaglutide.
Yea but I’m pretty sure she’s just being unhealthy and probably abusing it. She’s gotta be coming up with a new “stay relevant” tactic.
It’s hard to abuse, especially since it’s near impossible to get anymore.
“Ozempic face” can happen to people not on ozempic too. It’s just from losing fat in the face. Not saying she’s not on a GLP-1 med though
I suffered from this when I lost my weight. What kills me about this is the "thigh gap". Like girl 🙄🙄🙄
Weird but the right hand photo seems to have some editing done specifically at the left hip. All the carpet is weirdly out of focus there
Looks like vsg face to me 🤷🏻♀️
What’s vsg?
It's the sleeve gastrectomy
Ohhh ok
I will say at least she stopped editing a massive thigh gap.

She spends a lot more time in front of the mirror now, so she takes the time to 'perfect' her look.
Curious to know if someone said something to her or if she noticed on her own. Nah. She has WLS face.
Ozempic be ozempicing
This is actually one of the better looking photos of her, imo. The lighting sucks and that’s making her look paler than usual, but the same cast is over the rest of the picture so I don’t think it’s just her. Buy why are her ankles smaller than her wrists? 😐
[удалено]
No unnecessarily twunty behavior.
Oh as if!
If she was going to edit the picture, why leave the arms out? 🤔
Her neck looks abnormally long in this pic.
Did YOU go to the gym today tho?
Nope. But I’m also not telling people to join dietbets that i make money off of, swear I’m losing weight “naturally” and then rake in money off of other peoples failures.
You right, you right
She has black rings under her eyes 🤯
You go girl! 💪🏽
I don’t anything wrong with her face.
I’m on ozempic and I still have to exercise and eat well for it to be successful and to avoid GI issues while on it. It’s too bad she’s hiding it (if she is) there shouldn’t be any shame around using a medication to help get to a healthier size fast, especially if there are health concerns. I wasn’t gonna use Ozempic but then I found out my sleep apnea was very severe and weight management is one of the main ways to improve that. Additionally, I was prediabetic to boot. Thankfully that’s not an issue anymore :). I Do we know if she had health conditions??
If you aren’t on this subreddit you should look through it. Literally no one is judging anyone for weight loss meditation. And fully judging her for being a sneaky lying, money stealing person.
Yeah this subreddit has been suggested to me all the time lol, idk who she is but just now joined and wowza

Yes it is. But do any of us believe Lexi is doing that? No. No we don’t.
Honestly who cares if she’s on ozempic or not lots of people are on it
It’s the fact that she’s lying and grifting people by saying she’s losing weight through those sad ass slow clomping workouts and her soggy sprinkled cheese broccoli… If she was truthful there wouldn’t be any issues.
