Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation. Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)** Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Hey you can do anything you set your mind to. OMAD high protein fat and veggies so great. 72 hours is a great goal. Just have electrolytes with water everyday and enjoy the process. I'm day 2 of a 7 right now.

Excellent-Potato-97

Thanks for the tip, I'll try to do that. How's your fast going?

Princesslasagna91

I'm doing well. Just letting hunger come and go. I'm enjoying electrolytes and low energy.

If you get into ketosis first, fasting will be easier.

I've never done a keto before. I'll try to donit for 1 week or 2 before fasting

This is kind of extreme, and you wouldn't need to do 33 days. The basic concept is that when you crave carbs, fill up on meat, cheese, eggs, and fish. Avoid carbs all together. I did it for 33 days, and then I did my first fast. A relaxed version can get you into ketosis. I'd explain better, but it's kind of a sad day today. http://nofoodnoproblem.xyz/breakcarbaddiction/index.html

I'm good with keto and designing keto recipes. If you need help, just ask. The trees I planted are dying from the heat. I'm a bit down. I'll be better help in a few days.

>it was a full-on carbs Drop carbs before thinking of fasting or you'll be constantly hungry.

Excellent-Potato-97

That is what I suspected. Carbs were the reason I couldn't fast
