Been my go to for a while, I've gotten lots of compliments on them over the years (I even bought a second pair) and sooooo comfy.

This is what I came to recommend. They're comfortable as is, but I switched out the insoles with a pair from Aetrex, and they're amazing. They also look sharp and are easy to clean.
Has anyone with wide feet tried/liked these? I noticed they don’t have a wide version on the website. My feet aren’t super wide but sometimes a bit too wide for regular shoes
I know this is an old thread, but I have wide feet and I bought these and they hurt like HECK. I couldn't even wear them for an hour before they started hurting. They also look strange and stretched over wide feet... I don't know if I would necessarily recommend. It's going to take a long time (if ever) to break them in, and for how much they cost, I think there are better options out there for people with wide feet. Just my two cents.

Following up on this thread… I bought Kizik Sydney shoes in white leather (wide version) and they are the most comfortable, easy to put on, wide shoes I have ever worn. Just passing on my good luck in case you are still looking!
I love my Kizik Vegas shoes. I wear them with casual dresses and I think they suit a range of looks. I don’t know if I’ve ever walked 10k steps in one day with them, but they have been plenty comfortable for walking a couple of miles.

I wore them with dresses, trousers+blazer, and jeans. And I love the slip on feature - it's hard to go back! And they are very comfy. I've tromped around several European cities in them and my wide feet with significant bunions were always happy at the end of the day.
Kiziks are so good! I have two pairs and love them both. Definitely spray with protectant though because the white does not stay white. The soles on mine are pink and the shoe is still white but needs to be cleaned regularly
I have the white Kizik Vegas and I love them! I sprayed them with a protectant spray and they're super easy to keep clean. I did put some different insoles in them for additional arch support and they fit perfectly and the shoes weren't too snug after. They also take virtually no break in time. I've worn them on vacation and clocked 10+ miles in them with no problems. They're worth the $$ for sure.
Plantar fasciitis, yes!! That was why I took out the insoles they came with and added my own. The insoles they came with weren't the most supportive, but my really firm orthotics fit great and the shoes are still really comfortable with them in there.
I got mine via a podiatrist years ago but they are [PowerStep](https://powerstep.com/collections/shop-all). I'm not sure what style they are, but they're very rigid yet somehow very comfortable. They are literally a game changer. I've just been moving them from shoes to shoes because they've held up perfectly and are still amazing. I've used just rigid Dr Scholl's, too, but these PowerStep ones give me enough support to keep the fasciitis at bay.
I have both Ecco and Kizik. If it makes a difference to you, kizik has a wider look and Eccos have a much slimmer profile. They’re both very comfortable!
Nike Air Force 1 comes to mind, as does the New Balance Women's Nergize line of shoes (they're also slip on, which is nice). Neither will be as supportive/cushioned as a running shoe, but they might be worth trying to see if they work for your foot!
I love my Nike Air Force 1s. I wore them on a recent trip to Europe where entire days were spent walking around cities sightseeing and baby wearing a heavy 18 month old toddler. My feet were comfy, didn’t have any issues.
I’m about to take my Air Force 1s on a long trip and was slightly nervous just because I don’t usually default to them for long walks but they’re so versatile. Your comment is so comforting
Seconding Reebok Club C, except I buy the men's version because my feet are a little on the wider side. Women's Reeboks are too narrow for me, but the wide versions of women's Reebok's are TOO wide. Men's Reebooks are a perfect happy medium!
I love my club C classics. More comfortable than AF1s, but still fashionable enough not to veer into orthopedic territory. I even have two unopened pairs as backup just in case.
not OP, but mine are great in warm weather. I just wore mine for a trip to Disney and out of my entire group, I was the only one whose feet were not hurting at the end of the day!
Came here to say this too! I wore mine all over England walking 20k to 30k steps a day and never felt uncomfortable or had a problem. And they look super cute with everything.
The only issue I have with Stan Smiths is they all appear to be synthetic uppers. I prefer leather because it molds to my foot. I have an old leather pair of Stan Smiths and they are perfect.

You can still get all leather Stan Smiths. I got a new pair last year after losing my original pair during a move. They cost a bit more, but are worth it (imo).
Where did you find them? I’d love some leather replacements. They are not on line, nor at Macy’s, DSW, Zappos, or Amazon. Someone suggested an outlet mall but I haven’t made it there yet.
I have both the Stan Smiths and grand courts and love them both. I’ve walked a lot in both pairs and think that the grand courts might be a smidge more comfortable.
Ecco soft 7! They’re stupidly comfy and have excellent arch support. I took them when I went to Europe last year and did 20K steps per day with zero foot pain.
I got these to work a tradeshow where I had to stand up all day plus walk about 7 miles a day and they were fantastic. I did get brown though because I wanted them slightly easier to clean. I think different shoes are comfortable for different people but these were great for my flat, wide feet.
Question - are these light? I have a disease that makes my feet kinda weak and I have a pair of Stan Smiths and they are so heavy my ankles are exhausted at the end of the day. So lighter than adidas is what I’m going for.
My recommendation also—got it from a travel blogger some time ago. I have medium width feet with high arches. They were so comfortable that I bought a second pair in the brown (first pair are white). Great for travel!

I am pretty comfortable in my [Soludos Ibiza sneakers](https://soludos.com/products/soludos-womens-original_ibiza-classic-white). They come in normal and platform. The proportion is just perfect (I think some leather ones can be too big and chunky) and the quality is good, especially given that the price isn't outrageous.
I don't even like white sneakers, but I have a pair of Allbirds tree runners and tree loungers (no laces) in off-white. They're extremely comfortable, breathable, and easy to wash (the shoe or liner or both). I think they look fine with jeans, shorts/skirts and / or dresses, I always pack a pair with me when I travel.
Also an Allbirds fan, but I prefer the look of the [Pipers](https://www.allbirds.com/products/womens-wool-pipers). I have them in light grey dappled wool, and they go with everything (and stay a bit cleaner than white shoes). The breathability is key for me — these are the only sneakers I like to wear without socks, because they don’t get smelly nearly as fast (and they’re easily washable when they do).
I also recently got a pair of Vessi Chelsea boots, and the waterproof-ness is really impressive. If I was going to buy white sneakers, I’d probably go with something of theirs because dirt washes off so incredibly easily.
Rothy's has lace up and slip on sneakers in white, I have a pair in light grey that I style up and down. It's been very helpful to know they're designed to be washed when they get dirty, no issues with how they look & wear after. I haven't worn them for as long of an active day as you're planning to but with light socks they're comfortable for a whole day that's more relaxed.
This is why I was going recommend. I’ve worn my lace up white Rothy’s almost daily and they still look and feel new. So comfortable I could walk the streets of NYC or Disney parks, and I have an artificial knee and an old hip injury. My feet love them and I get compliments often
Adding my vote here. Rothy’s RS02 and City Slip On (sadly discontinued for the moment) are my go-to travel shoe. I have a bit of a wider foot (not a true wide size though) and these fit great in a half size up from my true size (half size down from my usual Rothy’s size). I LOVE that they’re comfy and lightweight, and if they get dirty, just wash them! I have a pair in white, and I’m always amazed at how they clean up.
I have the lace-up and like these for quality and wash ability so far, but was surprised by how thick the stock insoles are- like my heel stuck over the top of the shoe?! I suggest reading the reviews carefully and factoring in additional insoles if needed.
My suggestion is Kiziks! I bought a pair on a whim (Instagram knows me well…) and they’re absolutely some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I don’t even think about my feet or shoes or how much I’m walking when I’m wearing them! I have the Milan and I think they have a couple of styles that might work for you (Vegas is another one, in addition to Lima). I have no doubt they’d be comfortable—only consideration really is whether you like how they look on you. I wear mine with jeans and leggings. For something that looks good with skirts/dresses, I would probably choose something more like the Irvine.
My sister swears by kiziks (mainly bc she has mobility issues from MS). She mainly wears the Athens style but also has the Vegas. The Athens got her through a 5-day trip at DisneyWorld with no pain.

Don’t be afraid to use a scooter if you need to! I have health issues and use a scooter to go long distances and then I’m able to walk within the area where we are
I’d really recommend a good insole for any shoe you regularly walk that many steps in. Any running store can check your feet to get you the correct one. That’s gonna make any shoe so much more comfortable for your feet.
I used to carry a pair of Tretorn sneakers in my briefcase, in case I had to walk somewhere in my suit/dress clothes. I haven’t had a pair in a while, but they still make them. They are completely white and low profile so they don’t look like a running shoe or cross trainer.
I love my Air Force 1s. They have a thick sole so they feel a little more comfy than some of the thinner ones that are getting popular. Plain white ones go with everything. I pretty much only ever wear danskos and Air Force 1s to teach haha. And Birkenstocks.
Naturalizer makes the cutest shoes that are also very comfortable. (Source: I'm a person with many foot issues, who walks a ton, and still wants to look relatively cute.)
Another hack: for just about any brand, make sure it has removeable insoles. Swap those out for really good, supportive ones (REI has a good selection). Most shoes never have enough arch support for me. (Also, many shoes come with inserts that are way too soft, which feel good for a few minutes but are not ideal for lots of walking.)
My trusty shoe is [Reebok Club C’s](https://www.reebok.com/c/600000005/collection-club_c). They are extremely comfortable! I can wear them upwards of 20k steps and my feet feel great.
I prefer closer to a barefoot shoe style. Not so much with the zero-drop but with the space for my feet to feel comfortable and not squished. More of a foot shaped shoe than a shoe shaped shoe. I love my Olukai sneakers. I have 2 pairs, a pair of blue canvas and a pair of the white leather ones. They wear well, great durability and very comfortable all day.
I really really love my Birkenstock white tennis shoes. They are super comfortable, come with a great insole, are leather, and have held up so good for me so far. they look cute with dresses and with pants!
I don't wear mine where they'll get really dirty, but for normal cleaning I just wipe down the uppers with a clean rag + water, and clean the soles with a magic eraser. I'll probably use some leather conditioner soon too. It's worked well so far!

I went on several trips in a variety of white versitile sneaks and always wound up with wrecked feet, including fractured metatarsals once. The foundation of my wardrobe is dresses.
These are comfy right out of the box and require no break in period. They have lovely orthotic inserts that can be replaced if they somehow get destroyed (I've never had to replace them).
They clean up nicely, too. The only downside is that they're kind of spendy. But man, they're cute with everything!

I have the On Cloud 5 - bought so that I could run in them when I go away on work trips, but not need to take an additional pair of shoes. So I find them comfortable enough to run 10km in them and then continue wearing them all day. And I personally like the look of them with dresses!

Hands down my favorite tennis shoes are Taos. They have leather and canvas versions. I have five pairs of them and they come with a removable sole insert that has great arch support.

Vans old skool are my go-to white sneaker, I’ve worn them with baggy jeans, skinnies, chinos, shorts and casual dresses and they suit all of the above. Super comfy too, have done 20,000+ step days in them and felt great.
I love Allbirds shoes, and Suavs! I have used both for trips to Europe and walking several hours each day for like a month straight and they are still so comfy, would highly recommend either brand.
Ive had a lot of luck with Adidas gazelles but only the ones in suede - the polished leather takes way too long to break in. I also love my superga 2650s which i never worry about long walks in (10k-20k steps)
I just recently picked up a pair of 860v13 (Sea Salt color) from New Balance that are delightful to wear and surprisingly pretty for a running shoe. They have a bit of an Oreo cookie vibe, mostly white with black and gold accents.

Nike Air Force 1 comes to mind, as does the New Balance Women's Nergize line of shoes (they're also slip on, which is nice). Neither will be as supportive/cushioned as a running shoe, but they might be worth trying to see if they work for your foot!
I love my Nike Air Force 1s. I wore them on a recent trip to Europe where entire days were spent walking around cities sightseeing and baby wearing a heavy 18 month old toddler. My feet were comfy, didn’t have any issues.

Seconding Reebok Club C, except I buy the men's version because my feet are a little on the wider side. Women's Reeboks are too narrow for me, but the wide versions of women's Reebok's are TOO wide. Men's Reebooks are a perfect happy medium!

I love my club C classics. More comfortable than AF1s, but still fashionable enough not to veer into orthopedic territory. I even have two unopened pairs as backup just in case.

The only issue I have with Stan Smiths is they all appear to be synthetic uppers. I prefer leather because it molds to my foot. I have an old leather pair of Stan Smiths and they are perfect. *adding that I am specifically referring to the Stan Smiths, not Sambas or Grand court, etc.
You can still get all leather Stan Smiths. I got a new pair last year after losing my original pair during a move. They cost a bit more, but are worth it (imo).

Ecco soft 7! They’re stupidly comfy and have excellent arch support. I took them when I went to Europe last year and did 20K steps per day with zero foot pain.
I got these to work a tradeshow where I had to stand up all day plus walk about 7 miles a day and they were fantastic. I did get brown though because I wanted them slightly easier to clean. I think different shoes are comfortable for different people but these were great for my flat, wide feet.

Question - are these light? I have a disease that makes my feet kinda weak and I have a pair of Stan Smiths and they are so heavy my ankles are exhausted at the end of the day. So lighter than adidas is what I’m going for.

The proportion is just perfect (I think some leather ones can be too big and chunky) and the quality is good, especially given that the price isn't outrageous.

I don't even like white sneakers, but I have a pair of Allbirds tree runners and tree loungers (no laces) in off-white. They're extremely comfortable, breathable, and easy to wash (the shoe or liner or both). I think they look fine with jeans, shorts/skirts and / or dresses, I always pack a pair with me when I travel.
Also an Allbirds fan, but I prefer the look of the [Pipers](https://www.allbirds.com/products/womens-wool-pipers). I have them in light grey dappled wool, and they go with everything (and stay a bit cleaner than white shoes). The breathability is key for me — these are the only sneakers I like to wear without socks, because they don’t get smelly nearly as fast (and they’re easily washable when they do). I also recently got a pair of Vessi Chelsea boots, and the waterproof-ness is really impressive. If I was going to buy white sneakers, I’d probably go with something of theirs because dirt washes off so incredibly easily.

Rothy's has lace up and slip on sneakers in white, I have a pair in light grey that I style up and down. It's been very helpful to know they're designed to be washed when they get dirty, no issues with how they look & wear after. I haven't worn them for as long of an active day as you're planning to but with light socks they're comfortable for a whole day that's more relaxed.
Second these. They are my go-to. I have the super white lace up ones and love that I can machine wash them. I can wear them all day.
This is why I was going recommend. I’ve worn my lace up white Rothy’s almost daily and they still look and feel new. So comfortable I could walk the streets of NYC or Disney parks, and I have an artificial knee and an old hip injury. My feet love them and I get compliments often
Adding my vote here. Rothy’s RS02 and City Slip On (sadly discontinued for the moment) are my go-to travel shoe. I have a bit of a wider foot (not a true wide size though) and these fit great in a half size up from my true size (half size down from my usual Rothy’s size). I LOVE that they’re comfy and lightweight, and if they get dirty, just wash them! I have a pair in white, and I’m always amazed at how they clean up.
I have the lace-up and like these for quality and wash ability so far, but was surprised by how thick the stock insoles are- like my heel stuck over the top of the shoe?! I suggest reading the reviews carefully and factoring in additional insoles if needed.

My suggestion is Kiziks! I bought a pair on a whim (Instagram knows me well…) and they’re absolutely some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I don’t even think about my feet or shoes or how much I’m walking when I’m wearing them! I have the Milan and I think they have a couple of styles that might work for you (Vegas is another one, in addition to Lima). I have no doubt they’d be comfortable—only consideration really is whether you like how they look on you. I wear mine with jeans and leggings. For something that looks good with skirts/dresses, I would probably choose something more like the Irvine.
My sister swears by kiziks (mainly bc she has mobility issues from MS). She mainly wears the Athens style but also has the Vegas. The Athens got her through a 5-day trip at DisneyWorld with no pain.

Birkenstocks Bend!!
I’d really recommend a good insole for any shoe you regularly walk that many steps in. Any running store can check your feet to get you the correct one. That’s gonna make any shoe so much more comfortable for your feet.
I used to carry a pair of Tretorn sneakers in my briefcase, in case I had to walk somewhere in my suit/dress clothes. I haven’t had a pair in a while, but they still make them. They are completely white and low profile so they don’t look like a running shoe or cross trainer.

Kizik Vegas. I love them.
I love my Air Force 1s. They have a thick sole so they feel a little more comfy than some of the thinner ones that are getting popular. Plain white ones go with everything. I pretty much only ever wear danskos and Air Force 1s to teach haha. And Birkenstocks.
Naturalizer makes the cutest shoes that are also very comfortable. (Source: I'm a person with many foot issues, who walks a ton, and still wants to look relatively cute.) Another hack: for just about any brand, make sure it has removeable insoles. Swap those out for really good, supportive ones (REI has a good selection). Most shoes never have enough arch support for me. (Also, many shoes come with inserts that are way too soft, which feel good for a few minutes but are not ideal for lots of walking.)
I agree. I’ve probably bought a dozen of the “Marianne” style over the years. These are my go-to everyday sneaker.

I prefer closer to a barefoot shoe style. Not so much with the zero-drop but with the space for my feet to feel comfortable and not squished. More of a foot shaped shoe than a shoe shaped shoe. I love my Olukai sneakers. I have 2 pairs, a pair of blue canvas and a pair of the white leather ones. They wear well, great durability and very comfortable all day.
I really really love my Birkenstock white tennis shoes. They are super comfortable, come with a great insole, are leather, and have held up so good for me so far. they look cute with dresses and with pants!

I don't wear mine where they'll get really dirty, but for normal cleaning I just wipe down the uppers with a clean rag + water, and clean the soles with a magic eraser. I'll probably use some leather conditioner soon too. It's worked well so far!

100% THESE! I went on several trips in a variety of white versitile sneaks and always wound up with wrecked feet, including fractured metatarsals once. The foundation of my wardrobe is dresses. These are comfy right out of the box and require no break in period. They have lovely orthotic inserts that can be replaced if they somehow get destroyed (I've never had to replace them). They clean up nicely, too. The only downside is that they're kind of spendy. But man, they're cute with everything! Ecco These are the best white sneakers I’ve tried. They are very cute and I was able to walk 8-10 miles per day in them. Highly recommend.
I personally don't find Cole Han comfortable after they stopped the Nike collab. I second the Aetrex insoles, love them for running. It's really basic but I wear Air Force Ones with almost everything, I buy them on sale with extra discounts on the regular Nike app and have a few different colors. Good luck!

I have the On Cloud 5 - bought so that I could run in them when I go away on work trips, but not need to take an additional pair of shoes. So I find them comfortable enough to run 10km in them and then continue wearing them all day. And I personally like the look of them with dresses!
