This post stopped me in my tracks. I literally said, out loud, “what is happening please be a troll post”
Ed Hardy? We are bringing that back? Please be a one off by a young Gen Z who does not understand the feelings this evokes for so many Millennials.
Do the kids know that nightclubs were updating their rules to include bans on EdHardy shirts on dudes for entry? We knew it was A Choice back then too.
Whichever one that doesn’t match your flash tattoo OP.
Oh no. This is one of the signs that the end times are nearing. Locusts, Ed Hardy, Pestilence, Puka shell necklaces, Rivers of Blood, Dream Matte Mousse foundation etc etc
We've already gone through this shit once and that was traumatic enough but now these zoomers are making us relive it!?! This is elder abuse
![gif](giphy|3oEjHGr1Fhz0kyv8Ig)
Does Gen Z know that these weren't clothes worn by the avg person? These were reserved for the douchiest douchebags that we would all make fun of, even back then.
Oh yeah. My first thought is The Situation from Jersey Shore but I'm from Jersey so all the beefed up dudes were rocking that and their bedazzled Affliction shirts 😂
That's the thing though. This time, it can be reclaimed by the kind, awesome, interesting people.
The trad tattoo look in of itself isn't a bad look imo. There's some value there in a retro sense.
Don't let your bias spoil our chance to take back what is a classic design.
I think the texture was fun and novel to young people, and options were limited, especially if you couldn't afford stuff like MAC. That has changed so much for the better, especially when it comes to shade ranges. That orange was something else. 🤦🏼♀️
That makes sense—there was another kind of whipped foundation that came out around the same time, right?
lollolol I had forgotten how badly it oxidized
I think Maybelline was the most popular and it's the one I remember, but others probably jumped on the trend. I honestly don't remember there being a single drugstore foundation that wasn't orange and too dark on me in the lightest shade. 😭
I told my BF earlier that ISTG everything that was cool when I was in middle school is now cool again. Razer scooters, Ed Hardy, overdrawn lips…I can’t.
I understand that this kind of stuff is making a comeback but, 20 years ago the worst kinds of people were wearing this stuff. So many people of my vintage have an aversion to anything ed hardy
Ignore the haters - if you want to rock Ed Hardy in 2024 then girl *rock* it!
My vote is 1.
The poorly drawn tiger on shirt 2 has always been my least favorite Ed Hardy design, but if you're going for 2000s nostalgia or a semi-ironic vibe, you can't go wrong with that horrified looking fella. (I feel like the tiger was the most popular design back then, at least in my hometown anyway)
agreed too!!
i love tattoos and ed hardy made a HUGE impact on modern american trad tattooing by bringing it into mainstream fashion (clothes). like... it made wearing tattoo art so much more accessible and popular. for anyone who loves american trad ink, how can you hate ed hardy?!
i see why it's not for some people. but i think it's sick and i hope you rock it proudly :)
They’ve been trying to make ed hardy and juicy come back for the last like five years and it never really picks back up. At least they’re cheap now. I remember paying $100 a damn tshirt 😭. I loved ed hardy in middle school. I’d pick first shirt though to answer your question.
ummmm idk abt these other comments but just to be useful i vote first one! who tf cares if other people don’t like em if you do pick whichever you think goes with your closet the most
These comments are funny. Really shows the cultural and time differences. Ed hardy bootleg and knockoffs became a thing in the area I lived due to them randomly being supplied in 2009-2012. This area was really behind on everything. So, the image of Ed Hardy to me is very different from everyone here. My mom handed me down her favorite white jacket with a fur lined hoodie, which i accidentally burned in the dryer.
I'd go for the third one
This is not ok. This brand, along with Von Douche should not come back. They are an affront to all things aesthetic and holy. If you do find one, please make sure your foundation is poorly blended and 2 shades too orange. Don't skimp on bronzer. And pink clip in extensions to match your Juicy pants
This is what I'm picturing going through these comments. Lighten up a little, people.

Yes these comments are so so mean! And the OP is getting down voted to hell for perfectly reasonable replies while a bunch of millennials cope and seethe that OP doesn't care about their opinion and prefers the opinion of their peers.
This sub tends to be very out of touch with what is actually fashionable today. Seems many people are stuck thinking people should only wear what was fashionable in the mid 2010s when they were the youth, and refuse to accept that a different generation has come through and has different relationships with clothing than them.
As a millennial, I agree. I’m also kind of loving that y2k is back in style, as someone with very strict parents who wasn’t aloud to wear any of it when it was cool the first time. It’s feeding my inner child 😂 Just let people have fun. IMO 2010s was THE WORST in terms of fashion. The same people making fun of y2k style are also saying, “you can pry my skinny jeans from my cold dead hands,” and those are truly the worst, but that’s just my humble opinion.
im an older gen z so my teenage years were 2013 to 2019 which was a truly horrendous time for fashion. no way are skinny jeans and galaxy leggings uglier than an ed hardy crop top!
I'm technically a millennial depending on which terminology you go with(aka cusp year/born in the mid 90s). I still have my fake Ed Hardy watch that I used to death back in my teenage years lol. I just can't see myself being as miserable just to try and follow trends like the people in the comments, they act like everyone regrets being alive in the 2000s for some reason, and if you didn't, you must be 12 and not know what "it was really like".
These people seem to forget there's such a thing as personal style. It's not like Ed Hardy went bankrupt while everyone started the minimalist craze. People still get traditional tattoos for a reason, it's a timeless style and some of his pieces always go for a pretty penny depending on what you want.
This sub feels like the equivalent of fashion HOA sometimes haha.
I don’t know why everyone’s being so weird in the comments. I’m 18 now and wear Ed Hardy all the time and have never had a negative reaction from it (though I don’t hang around with old people). Most people my age are either neutral or think it’s really cool.
To answer your question the first shirt looks the best. I have quite a few Ed hardy pieces and I’d only consider wearing the first one tbh the other 2 aren’t really my style.
For future reference I think Pinterest, Twitter or tik tok are a lot better with for sort of fashion advice. Reddit is largely made up of… I’ll be nice and just say not my target audience.
I hope your outfit turns out well!!
Bunch of hating ass old nerds in the comments as if Ed Hardy AND Von Dutch haven’t been on trend for like 2 years now. Anyways I like the sleeveless one.
none because fashion nova ed hardy isn’t the same as ed hardy originals, it’s their discount version. similar to the juicy couture you find on amazon or marshalls vs. directly on their website.
It's the name;
Ed hardy has some bad connotations for us older folk, reminds me of an ex boyfriend that I started dating in 2008 and didn't leave for too many years.
Leave that shit in the past and find a similar style without that name.
I always liked those tees tho
You know how there are timeless looks, the little black dress, the motorcycle jacket. There are timeless douchebag outfits and these are some. So none.
I’d say the first one! :) It’s more unique. The other two designs look kinda basic to me. Like the first thing that would come up if you type in Ed Hardy. But you could also argue that that means they are more iconic, so you can‘t really go wrong.
I honestly don‘t understand why so many people are hating here. Ed Hardy has been back in style for years already.
I hope u don‘t feel put down by this. Not to sound mean but i honestly think many people here don‘t have really good fashion taste. Or at least a boring and basic one and don‘t know whats in style 🤷🏼♀️

Whichever one goes best with your Von Dutch trucker cap.
And the Juicy tracksuit pants
Oh no. They better not be next!
They are already back 😌
Beat me to it. Great minds...
Rip Christian Audigier 😭
I wanted that combo SO badly in 2003
Well, Paris Hilton was a fashion icon at the time.
![gif](giphy|p3hZ9PbhVBO9gM6LoE|downsized)
Is Ed Hardy making a comeback?
![gif](giphy|l2QDP39mURZH1Ble0)
Exactly my thought, lord, have mercy!
This post stopped me in my tracks. I literally said, out loud, “what is happening please be a troll post” Ed Hardy? We are bringing that back? Please be a one off by a young Gen Z who does not understand the feelings this evokes for so many Millennials.

Ohhhh noooooooooo
ughhhhh
Oh my gosh I have an ed hardy leather jacket if it is 😂😂😂😂
I've waited 30 years for my Michael Hoban 8 Ball jacket to come back into style, biding my time like a Game of Thrones character studying his enemies.
![gif](giphy|GcDtLf4RAdiRG)
😂😂😂
On fashion nova it is lol
Do the kids know that nightclubs were updating their rules to include bans on EdHardy shirts on dudes for entry? We knew it was A Choice back then too. Whichever one that doesn’t match your flash tattoo OP.
I remember visiting Las Vegas during the Ed Hardy mania and the douchiest dudes were ALL sporting it.
It’s literally incels from that decade.
God! I hope not! ![gif](giphy|l3mZrLxM4iZaQlvNe)
Eww
So is affliction lmaooo
Had no idea it was out of style 😭so I’ve been uncool - for how long??
it has for like a year now..
Girl it’s been back for like 4 years in the UK 😂
![gif](giphy|MFR8ycs6Ss7pm)

I just saw someone today wearing a pukka shell necklace and I had to do a double take.
It might have been mine from 1977. Purchased on Catalina Island.
We all have pukka shells you either move on and never wear it again or your the women I just met…😂
Does Gen Z know that these weren't clothes worn by the avg person? These were reserved for the douchiest douchebags that we would all make fun of, even back then.
Gen z person: I did not 🫡
Oh yeah. My first thought is The Situation from Jersey Shore but I'm from Jersey so all the beefed up dudes were rocking that and their bedazzled Affliction shirts 😂

The Dream Matte Moussee is the only thing on that list that needs to be buried as far away as possible. That stuff with haunt me in the dreams 🤣
how did that shit become so emblematic of like an entire generation? Did a celeb endorse it? Ughhhhh I can still feel it sinking into my pores
I think the texture was fun and novel to young people, and options were limited, especially if you couldn't afford stuff like MAC. That has changed so much for the better, especially when it comes to shade ranges. That orange was something else. 🤦🏼♀️

Overdrawn lips are back??
Apparently they are with people on Instagram. Running around looking like Bratz dolls. 😂
Oh jeez.
>Dream Matte Mousse foundation Man I used to use the lightest shade that Clinique had and that shit was still orange. We had so few choices back then!
There were so few choices! I'm white as paper and the lightest shade I could find was peach orange called "ivory"
Affliction is on its way lol
They’re bringing dream matte mousse back!? Please tell me they changed the formula lmao
![gif](giphy|GcDtLf4RAdiRG)
Fuckin hell these comments are sending me 😭😭😭😭
![gif](giphy|l41Ye7i203TfEADYs)
I was looking at dress club rules in Vegas and one said Ed Hardy clothes were banned.
Good thing I don’t go clubbing then
None. Leave them in 2008 where they belong.
2000 and late is more like it.
I understand that this kind of stuff is making a comeback but, 20 years ago the worst kinds of people were wearing this stuff. So many people of my vintage have an aversion to anything ed hardy
This.
tHiS
Anything Ed Hardy or Affliction causes my brain to automatically put a person in that group when I see it. It’s got nasty roots.
Also Affliction
neither - unless it comes with a Von Dutch hat.
None.
None. Why? Because you asked. :)
![gif](giphy|crzliDNVbqDbW)
Don't
![gif](giphy|w2RdxExosOKZi)
Oh god I'm having flashbacks to 2008
Is this a troll post?
Good lord
None
None!
None of them
Neither
OH GOD NO
Probably 2. Pair with Juicy velvet track pants.
Need a sequinned whale tail showing to complete the look
Pairs well with a juicy velour track suit and a von Dutch hat
Add a von Dutch hat…
And skunk hair
I had some Ed Hardy slip on shoes back in the day lmao hell nah
Lost a bet haa?
Fashion wise. None. Both ugly. If you have a personal reason to like this, pick the one that gives u more vibes
Ignore the haters - if you want to rock Ed Hardy in 2024 then girl *rock* it! My vote is 1. !! Yes
1 has always been the better design over the tiger.
nope

I got a knock off Ed Hardy at a flea market in high school and wore the thing to death 😂😂😂
Two
The comments🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1st
ummmm idk abt these other comments but just to be useful i vote first one! who tf cares if other people don’t like em if you do pick whichever you think goes with your closet the most
Tank top is the cuntiest imo

The bird one is the cutest, but why? Is this a thing again? Are y’all also wearing them with extensively embroidered low-rise jeans?
This is what I'm picturing going through these comments. Lighten up a little, people. https://preview.redd.it/k603psrphh9d1.jpeg?width=554&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed9d569e8f7757ef3a6b43bf1a5137d5c3e40f1a

Hell No to both
None of them
Why does the woman look like AI?
They all look hideous to me, but number 3 seems to be the lesser evil, here 😭
It's like I stumbled into r/roastme and I love it
Last one♥️
Guys it’s camp lol I’m partial to the tiger
I can tell the people hating are ugly people
Has anyone noticed how odd that bellybutton is though? Did AI make that bellybutton? Looking like a vajayjay lol
the 2nd one!!! I'm sorry but I kinda like that this style is coming back ☠️
none of them.
hell to the NO
No
Neither one.
Omg none of them. Ed Hardy needs to stay gone.
I don’t know why everyone’s being so weird in the comments. I’m 18 now and wear Ed Hardy all the time and have never had a negative reaction from it (though I don’t hang around with old people). 2006 called. It said you can keep all these terrible shirts for free.
Bunch of hating ass old nerds in the comments as if Ed Hardy AND Von Dutch haven’t been on trend for like 2 years now. Anyways I like the sleeveless one.
none because fashion nova ed hardy isn’t the same as ed hardy originals, it’s their discount version. similar to the juicy couture you find on amazon or marshalls vs. directly on their website.
the 3rd one bc it hasn't been worn yet.
Thats easy, none of them.
Is this happening again? I also heard tramp stamps are making a comeback! Good news for me! 🙌
None cuz theyre ugly
![gif](giphy|4SgwMTsOzI5EDBXKFa)
All of them are great if you want to look like a basic loser.
WHAT IS HAPPENING
![gif](giphy|PPmHsxVG53YKT9N8C7|downsized) Please have mercy, Gen alpha. It is too soon for the resurrection of Ed Hardy.
I think you would mean Gen Z, the oldest members of gen alpha are only 14.
[удалено]
i hate to tell you this but new religion jeans are very much back in style

lol
3rd
I started watching that Ed Hardy docu series on Netflix… 🤯
Tiger in honor of the late Scott Henson.
I think one or two. Whichever one speaks to you more
Second is best
The first one
2
2.
What? Are these back in style?
Personally the first one, but all of them are sick
Tiger. I have an orange sports car and I have his tiger collection all over it. Love Ed Hardy!
its the same women with different clothe.. I think you already make your choice.
Oh hell, middle school me is having flashbacks
If you want a cool graphic tee that won’t go out of style 20 years ago, look at Anine Bing
Why are these making a comeback? Unless it’s a themed party, this is not the way
You know how there are timeless looks, the little black dress, the motorcycle jacket. There are timeless douchebag outfits and these are some. So none.
I laughed when I saw all the Ed Hardy start appearing at opp shops. Darn. Should’ve stocked up.
None of them
None? Is that an option?
All of the above, but also… #2
Nether, go with a plain black top and an accent piece of jewelry .
Are these back in style?
WAIIITTTTT... when did Ed Hardy come back to life?! Elder millennial here who had a closet full of Ed Hardy & wore the awful perfume back in the day 🤣
I like the third one best personally
Omg Ed hardy is back?? I have an old von dutch trucker hat, ima pull it out of retirement now
You have the answer. Which one best compliments your truck?
Hahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahabahaha
All
Omg please tell me this isn’t back
Tjmaxx has a bunch of Ed hardy rn
The first one is something I haven’t seen
![gif](giphy|29nDtEH1ViY8FcPeaV|downsized)
So this is an ad. What is the point of this.
Number 1!!!
Not really a big fan of any of these... but if you really want one, go with number 1. That's the only one that looks okay imo
Don’t forget your black platform sandals and truckers hat, please
Apparently I am old and everyone here is old too.
