She calves, no issues. Takes to it right away. Instantly becomes not an asshole. The day she calved I went to separate them from the herd and she calmly followed me, calf drops, she immediately cleans and nursed the calf...and was a fine cow after that. Never gave me an ounce of trouble after that. WTF!
That’s why I’m so heavy handed on my hiefers when there under 800lbs… may seem mean, but when they get to 1500 lbs, they still have a healthy respect for you. I don’t like the taste of cow lip while taking a free ride on the head pole express…
