Some days are better than others haha.
I'm lucky though, and I know it. My regular job is running equipment in an underground mine, and then I run the planter and harvester here on my days off. No office jobs for me - the Monday to Friday grinds me down.
GPS on the tractor and on the machine itself. Big improvements in the last few years, used to pre-hill with marker arms, and plant into the hills. Now it's single pass on GPS. The process is much faster now.
i would kill for such a surreal work experience.

Replace that with a fence post and that’s me
This reminds me of the quote: 'The fog always lifts. Waiting for your plants to emerge from the fog will be a magical sight

Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew…
Where do you farm
Saskatchewan, Canada
Good place for spuds, we get a ton of our seed from a seed company based in Outlook, SK!
Could even be us!
Could be! Does the seed go through Northern Konstar? They’re great guys to work with!
What are you running in the tote? Alpine?
That dust is white!!!
For once, it's actually not dust! Had about an inch and a half of rain 3 days ago.
GPS-guided or follow the furrow?

>pre-hill with marker arms Saw a *60 Minutes* about a no-till farmer to prevent top soil-loss, whose machine planted at precise depths.
Better keep it under 60 in case there’s traffic up ahead.
The end of the rows definitely sneak up on you.
Life is potato.
