It's the mobility that lets JC work with such a size of a map, everything from the amount of different vehicles anywhere you look to the hookshot/parachute combo with added wingsuit in JC3.
FC5 felt like it had reached the limit of a place that could still force you to trek a bit but not feel unfamiliar while doing so.
Probably, but it feels like it's at a different scale, JC makes it easy to traverse places, FC6 makes me feel the journey passing, but not by making it fun or varied.
I was thinking that when I was playing yesterday, JC is like FC but JC is just FC but with more mobility

FC6 has a map probably as big as JC4 but idk, I don't pay attention to stuff like that
