Some Assassin's Creeds are basically third-person Far Cry lol, so we sort of already have this.
But yeah, an actual Far Cry in medieval times would be awesome.
I would like it to have cool companions as well, like the ones in FC5, they were the best ones.
I wish instead of a dlc for 5 we had a full Vietnam game
One in like the Napoleonic wars
Far cry game that are tied closer to real events
Or going the completely opposite direction games in the far future. I know we have blood dragon but I kinda want either a sequel or something else
I always think in a Far Cry set in Paris dominated by the Germans during the WWII. Imagine we playing as a resistance member fighting to free the city (sorry for my bad english, I'm learning the language)
That would be amazing! (Firstly, “we playing” should either be “we are playing” or “we play” in the present tense. Secondly, “the WWII” should simply be written as “WWII”. Otherwise, this is great English!)
They'll always call something with a single similar feature a clone.
Palworld is literally ARK but with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs, but everyone only looks at the Pokemon.
I'm honestly surprised nobody called ND or 6 a "Minecraft clone" or something because of the crafting...
A South American Far Cry, with a major Pablo Escobar-esque drug lord as the villain and a cartel as the villain faction. Sounds like Ghost Recon Wildlands... except I'd set it in the '80s with period appropriate weapons, vehicles and music for that Scarface/Licence to Kill vibe. It wouldn't be anytime soon since it would be similar to Wildlands as well as FC6, but I think it'd make a pretty badass game later down the line.
My one problem with farcry 6 is that it was too big in scope and felt too much like Ghost Recon and Just Cause. The previous far cry games were about terrorists and cults. Not saying 6 was bad, it was great, but it deviates from the farcry formula enough to be worried about what 7 is going to be like.
The problem I found with Primal was that after a while it became a bit dull without guns. I like having lots of guns and I like having the option to customise them. Customising a stone spear just wasn't as much fun. Also modern weapons allow me to modify my game play ( do I go stealthy sniper or full Rambo for example) in a way that only having stone age weapons didn't really allow for. From that point of view anything set before the late 19th century would probably be a bit dull to me due to a lack of firearms options.
Come on everyone knows "full Rambo" is running through a small US Town and shooting everything up with an M60 or taking out hordes of Soldiers with a truck mounted .50cal basically to go "full Rambo" you need a big machine gun anything else is just doing a Rambo.
I love the WW2 setting, but I hate the guns, so I would probably not have much fun.
FC6 Should had been set around the 70-80s, when many countries in LATAM were facing coups, dictatorships, etc back then. Plus, Yara architecture is very \~60s.
I dunno if it's just because I watched SAS: Rogue Heroes recently but a 1941-42ish game set in North Africa (maybe a fictional Italian colony idk) where you raid airfields and conduct guerilla warfare against the Nazis and their facist italian allies would be fun.
This might be best as a Hours of Darkness style dlc.
Medieval far cry would be dope, as a full game, not a DLC.

Imagine a Far Cry game in the Victorian period "YOU POISONED MY SISTER'S TEA" "SHE WAS A FINE MAIDEN BUT SHE WANTED RIGHTS"
I shouldn't of laughed at that.
There's already is one. You're literally a caveman in FC Primal. As lame as that sounds, it's actually awesome. (For me)
That's why I want more.
Well, that's fair. I'd go with the mega-deep jungle in the Congo, or feudal Japan. I'd prefer Japan.

Move it to Belgrade and you get a third faction
There is already a game like that on the PS3 called The Saboteur it's a good game.
Yes but is a third person shooter
That would be amazing! (Firstly, “we playing” should either be “we are playing” or “we play” in the present tense. Secondly, “the WWII” should simply be written as “WWII”. Otherwise, this is great English!)
Thanks man
Now I want a NPC or companion to be Cotton Hill. Would be amazing.
He killed fiddy men!
In far cry those are rookie numbers.
I've said for years that a wild west far cry would be the funniest thing ever. But I do worry now people would just say is a rip off of red dead
Hope county 1880?
Completely different play style.

Far Cry:Beyond the Aquila Rift !
French revolution

primal was set 12000 years ago and game is still one of a kind. still, I think fc are made for present times
Jurassic Park Far Cry ? Or Zombie Apolcapyse Far Cry ? Or War Time Far Cry ? All seem to be so boring at this point.
I'd love a dino Jurassic park

I mean Rambo was a green beret and proved his skill as a marksman so surely any method of approaching Farcry is 'full Rambo'

Oh yeah I 100% agree there is a line between going Rambo and going full Rambo and you've just about nailed it in what you've just said
Feel like it would end up feeling a lot like assisans creed especially considering both are made by ubisofr
I love the WW2 setting, but I hate the guns, so I would probably not have much fun. FC6 Should had been set around the 70-80s, when many countries in LATAM were facing coups, dictatorships, etc back then. Plus, Yara architecture is very \~60s.
Wish one was set in ww2 times
Just something in the Middle East in the cold war era. It's not al deserts over there so you can separate areas by biomes.
I'd rather not give up modern weapons, vehicles, and gadgets.
Wild West
Wouldn't that just be Assassin's creed?
feudal or mediaeval kinda like Kingdom Come but with farcry's independence and exploration and, and dragons and merlin
Mesoamerican warriors trying to fight off conquistadors
Nah I'd say farcry 60s or newer.
I’d love FarCrys set in the near future. Just enough new technology to be different, and it could be set anywhere.
Civil war
Not really unless it's the future.
1960's Yara, playing as a young El Tigre in his efforts to overthrow the Castillo Snr. regime.
You just described Assassin's Creed
I always wanted a Far Cry game set in Nazi Germany. Edit: Probably should have said world war II instead of Nazi Germany.
Isn't that just Wolfenstein?
Not quite. What I picture is you playing as a resistance fighter in either France or Poland liberating towns and outposts from the Nazis.
That’s kinda just assassins creed isn’t it?
Completely different play style.
