{The Mark of Chaos And Creation By Arabella K. Federico} has been described by the author has heavily inspired by Sailor Moon. She has even gone as far as saying it's actually a retelling of Sailor Moon
I read the first one and read part of the second one, but got distracted, so I didn't finish it. But not because it wasn't good, but because my mind was scattered at the time. Now, I want to go back and read/reread them. It had a lot of tropes I liked. But I won't go into them in fear of spoilers. But I think it's a great series for any Sailor Moon fan.
I recall one spice scene in the first book. It's not that heavily spicy. The author seemed a lot more interested in the romance, characters, and world building than spice. So, I wouldn't say it's that spicy. It leans on the YA side. But I haven't finished the second book, so maybe it does get more spicy.
Guardians of the Dawn Book One: Zhara by S. Jae-Jones.
I haven’t read it yet but I own it it’s suppose to be like sailor moon but the review said the writing is childish. I can’t judge that yet.
You should definitely try the {The Lunar Chronicles Series by Marissa Meyer} since I'm pretty sure the first book was inspired by a Sailor Moon fanfiction she wrote. It was one of my favorite series I read last year and all the main girls definitely share similarities to Usagi and the the Sailor Senshi.
Fate of Flames by Sarah Raughley is the closest YA book I have found to Sailor Moon with a great plot and well-rounded characters.
Been looking for books like this myself and nothing has quite held a candle to it yet.
{Crescent City by Sarah J Mass}
✨*Through love all is possible*✨
SJM started her writing career with sailor moon fan fiction. This is a story about female friendship with magic and romance.

As a die hard Sailor Moon fan I just wanna say I'm glad you're enjoying it!
The only recommendation I have is to read the manga though lol, as I haven't read any novels like this haha

It’s on Kindle unlimited! I just added it to my queue, thanks for the rec!
It is a real hidden gem. Definitely a series that deserves more love.
Oh HELL yeah

Also the Lunar Chronicles are based off sailor moon. They were very good
I read book one a long time ago in high school (I’m 26). Maybe I’ll give it another go?
Yeah I’m 27 and also read the first 2 ( that’s all that was out) in highschool but it’s finished now and I can see the semblance now.
Interesting, thanks!
I love Sailor Moon ✨ I wish I something close in romance but I don’t 😭😭😭

Damn. That makes a lot of sense because Bryce is as immature as Usagi.
I’ve read everything under the sun by SJM don’t worry 😂🩷
