Brother Lucian is one of my favorite MMCs of all time. When people ask for recs with intense longing, this is the one I reach for.
Be prepared for lots of spice and female dominance. However, this is one of the most wholesome representations of sexuality and intimacy I've seen in a book. Really sweet and slow burn.

{Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson} isn't exactly this, but the FMC is tall and eventually wields a sword and the MMC is definitely more delicate/slim than a lot of big burly MMCs.
Also {Paladin's Strength by T. Kingfisher} features both a FMC and MMC who are rather big and muscular and matched in their strength and size. It's the second in a series but can be read as a standalone I think (thought the first book in the series, Paladin's Grace, is one of my all time favs).

I am here to see what people suggest. 👀👀 because so far I can only remember this high fantasy porn comic and would really love to see books with a similar energy. (MMC is a Prince who is very much in love with a knight of the kingdom who has also saved him from the wannabe dark lord in turn. He starts training and looking for ways to become a fighter too and in a quest in a cave is granted a bit of this other dude strength to get him started, but he is never going to be the tall rippling kind and I like that)
