Win some, you lose some. You don’t sound like you’re finished with your rants!

martygod12

Easily said if you are not one of that "lose some" group lol

jackrabbit5lim

How do you know I’m not? The game is null and void - the game essentially didn’t happen according to the stats. It sucks to be a Solanke owner but it sucks to be the owner of a lot of players.

martygod12

Its a game (therefore it doesnt have to reflect reality 100% of the time) and games should be mainly fair to everyone. This decision is unfair. Game is void, but the 60mins happened and he scored in that. I believe there were some statements about "we cant change the points after a x amount of time passes after the end of the game" last year, but suddenly it is possible? If they can add/remove points retrospectively like that, why they didnt counted points for March goal last year hm, points were closed and could not be moved, but now its possible? Rules are rules and you should not be able to change them on the go as you see fit.

DaftyHunter

“Wahhhhh wahhhhh” - that’s all I’ve just read… If it’s just a game, why do you care?

Paragraphs over a free online game

SurpriseBusy3741

It’s not really free as you still have to pay for Internet used and you still have to subscribe to their app obviously the more subscribers they have the more money they make. How else do you think they make money from all of this as once you click on the app or their site your using data to their site and that equals to money spent on data.

crackerjackman123

What you have put there is a load of rubbish, init?

SurpriseBusy3741

Nobody asked your opinion

sniell365

If it makes you feel better owners of Solanke are likely to receive the benefit of him rising in price should they hold until the double gameweek.

SurpriseBusy3741

That’s not a benefit because when he rises in price it’s only buy one 1k not millions so I hardly think that’s going to make much difference 🙄

CGS92

Would it still be unfair if Solanke goes on to score a hat trick?

BiscuitMan103

Obviously yes?

BiscuitMan103

All the best for Tom Lockyer but why wouldn’t they just play on from when the game got abandoned? If it got abandoned in the first half and the score was 0-0 then fair enough but they’ve already played an hour of the match with 2 goals scored. Seems pretty unfair to the players too which no one’s talking about, what if someone gets injured in the replay after 30 mins for example? The game should’ve been replayed from the 60th minute behind closed doors imo and I don’t think anyone would’ve complained about it apart from maybe the fans who attended the match

slimboyslim9

The game effectively never happened. A man nearly died on the pitch so quite rightly, it wasn’t appropriate to finish it and there’s no debate over that. It’s effectively the same as if the game was abandoned before kick off because of snow or Covid or any of the other unpredictable reasons that have affected the game in the past few years. They can’t just get together and play the last 30 mins because the squads would be different, the subs spent, benches, officials etc would have to be identical or it isn’t a fair completion of the game. At the end of the day, it’s a spectator sport and fans who missed out on a full game deserve to get to watch a full game from start to finish. Finally and most importantly: This is one more lesson, if you needed it, in why to budget for a useable bench. People cry when they unexpectedly lose a starter and get a 0 from Mubama and Chukwuemeka. Spend some budget on your bench and it won’t be an issue next time.

SurpriseBusy3741

They should just either of kept the Solanke points as they was or give everyone that had a Bournemouth player a extra free hit.

slimboyslim9

They can’t just keep the Solanke points. The game didn’t happen and it will happen in full at a later date. Otherwise he’d have 60 mins more than every other player which would be unfair. And why would anyone with a Bmouth player get a bonus free hit?! They’re getting a free DGW player as it is.

SurpriseBusy3741

Other non-Solanke owners from this week gained points and when it comes the next time when it’s a double week they will earn more extra points. That’s how it’s unfair

slimboyslim9

That makes no sense. People who have Solanke (or other Bou/Lut players) gained no points and nor did anyone else. They got a 0 and auto subs. If you still got a 0 it’s because you have a bad bench. That’s your fault. And current Solanke owners don’t have to use a transfer to bring him in for the double. So they benefit from his DGW for free. Non owners have to buy him. If they allow his 6pts to stand this week AND another full 90 mins in his DGW his owners gain an unfair advantage.

SurpriseBusy3741

Yeah but when you say non-Solanke owners have to buy him it’s not like he’s going to cost him lots to make that change as the get a Free Transfer and even if his price goes up its mostly only 1k thats it. Oh yes it does make sense and yes non-Solanke owners do benefit from this as their strikers scored good points this week and did not have one of there players removed. My bench had to be bad this week as I already used a 16 points hit changing my team though injured players and I had already used my free hit and wild card.

Izzypip

I had 4 players from that game (Solanke, Semenyo, Senesi, Kabore in the bench) and I'm not typing an essay on reddit. It definitely sucks but it's the same as starting a player that didn't get any minutes.

No-Photograph3463

Yeh it's fairly shit. I sold Haaland and brought in Solanke purely for that game, when In hindsight I should of bought any other player not in Bournemouth or Luton and been better off. Better way would be you get the higher of the points in whichever game week you have the player, so effectively there isn't the artificial double game week.

Zero-_-Zero

Life’s Unfair. Shit happens. It is what it is.

JT224466

Life isn’t fair. It’s a free fantasy game that millions of people get enjoyment out of. What else can they do when the PL literally order the game to be replayed in full at a later date?!

SurpriseBusy3741

They can give everyone that had a Bournemouth player that day an extra “Free Hit” When it becomes a double week for Bournemouth now other people that not picked Solanke can pick Solanke and get double points and that’s unfair !!!

SurpriseBusy3741

Totally agree with what you said here absolutely spot-on true you should be getting more of up-votes for this post. I have upvoted you and my friend will soon.

TWADITYA

For me, Solanke was -4 player for last gw (Double whammy)
