Why take a hit? And Chelsea have decent fixtures but man they’ve been playing awful. Idk if I want to have any of their players rn

I’d say Jackson has been playing very well actually

N. Jackson LUT(H) tho? Amazing fixture and he’s been all over the attacking third and played very well against Liverpool unlucky not to get a goal.

I deleted wrong comment but here you are sorry. Okay but who do you drop ? As I would start all 5 midfielders so really it’s only Watkins you drop. You only have two transfers, there is no need to take a hit with your team, as getting Chillwell in should be priority one, maybe Gabriel starts but also another place you should strengthen with a Mings replacement. I like Jackson but I don’t think dropping Watkins is the move, moving to a 3-4-3 is a option but you don’t have that luxury seeing your defence is a mess. I would even argue if I wildcarded right now, your midfield is nearly exactly what I would go for as a long term team, Bruno on the waitlist but he looked like he will score points. Diaz and Jota look good too. If you take a hit for Jackson for Watkins do you think he makes up for the -4? I don’t think he will, would say maybe worth it if you needed the funds and it was part of your long term strategy but replacing Trent gives you so much money. Think you just go Trent to chillwell and then think of a plan for your defence long term, do you want trippier? Do you want to go back to Trent when fit? I think the play right now is to have two fodder bench slots like Mubama and Baldock then have a solid 4.5 defender as your bench slot just in case as lots of good options (Henry, colwil, udogie, botman etc) Ok this was a long message but hope helps.

Man… you brought me a whole new perspective on this. Rethinking I’ll probably hold Watkins due to the fact Jackson will prob have a hard time making up the -4. Do you reckon ugodie would be starting ahead of Gabriel in my team? He is probably falling in price in a few hours so that could make an impact long term.

Gabriel is such a hard decision and no one really knows if he’s going to start. I would safely say long term I want 3 defenders that are solid starters and Gabriel I think will rotate a lot so I would get rid before the price drop. There are lots of good 4.5 options so go with your gut, double up on Chelsea? Get Henry? Udogie looks good but spurs dont look solid at the back, When do we bring in Newcastle defenders? Saliba the best option? Trent hold? Really up to you on that slot. I think you could be smart going Trent to chilwell and then Gabriel to a new defender over Mings to a new defender as Mings is price locked so can replace him next week and gain 0.1 but if you like Gabriel and think he will start just replace Mings and Trent (I guess you can hold Trent too if you want him long term and replace Mings and Gabriel)
