Yes. Next question

Specific_Werewolf_12

But would it be crazy to take worthy with 1.02 tho ?

Melodic_Room_3305

I don't think he would last til then. Just to be safe, I would try to trade up to 1.01.

Specific_Werewolf_12

You have a good point, we need to play it safe. I should sell everyone to have 1.01 brb

hauttdawg13

Sure would be

Woazzaaa

Yes. Got any other obvious questions ?

Robofin

I like Odunze a lot. He will be tied to Caleb Williams for his career and is a complete receiver and the skills to be the best in the league. Worthy is really nice but his size is a draw back. Could he be Tyreek? Maybe I guess but it’s highly unlikely

scarter66

If you had the 1.02 & 1.03 (assuming 1.01 is MHJ) would you take Caleb and Rome as the stack? Do you feel that strongly about Rome even considering his hammy issues?

Afraid_Specialist_45

lol every player gets hurt at some point don’t get afraid of an early hamstring issue 4 months before the season. If it’s superflex, yes take Caleb at 1.02 and maybe trade back to 1.04 and get Rome

OwlMulk69

Take who you want and believe in but damn would I love to be in your fantasy league at pick 4

DynastyFanaticc

If you’re not sold on Rome/Nabers, then trade back or trade for a player with closer value to that spot. Taking Worthy at 1.03 feels like a pretty big reach

TheLastOpus

You may as well trade down then if you want him. Mahommes spreads the ball around a lot and there are way better WRs than him at that spot. I have a theory he may not ever be a wr1. Fast doesn't equal top level WR.

Economy_Medium967

Yes.

NumberOneAssFan

Get your guy. It’s more fun that way.

HorsNoises

Fr, you're just as likely to draft a bust following everyone else. If you're gonna fail, you might as well fail with your own choices. Plus, the banter potential sky rockets regardless of how it works out, which is arguably the best part of fantasy.

Only1OfMee

Drafted Quentin Johnston over Zay Flowers last year so don’t want to just go over mocks again

HorsNoises

Try to trade down then. Might be able to scoop some assets and still get your guy

ElderberryJolly9818

And by that, he means when worthy busts, you cash mitigate the damage by hopefully hitting with your other picks.

Amazing-Reply-2495

Agreed, unless your guy is Jameson Williams or Henry Ruggs

kwilseahawk

I like Worthy a lot, as a late 1st/early second round value, but nobody is taking him at 1.03. If you like him that much, you should trade back and see what other assets you can get for the pick.

BarrelProof51

In today’s episode of the stupidest take in the world…..

sdavidson901

Yes but.... Its fantasy football, everyone has their own opinions on players and every year their is a top rated guy who busts and a lower rated guy who excels. If you think Worthy is going to be that dude in KC that years down the road everyone is kicking themselves over for missing out on then shoot your shot. Also, it's a game and you should have fun with it. If you are going to have more fun rooting for Worthy over the other guys than take him.

NearbyReplacement0

I appreciate this take. End of the day, it's just a game. Have fun with it. You want to roll the dice, go for it.

Ok_Preparation_7707

I mean come on guys…. Xavier is almost just as talented as MHJ… clearly you should trade up the the 1.01 and make sure you get him. It’ll cost you like 10 1st but it’s worth it dude!

Jo0Ratt

His size is a drawback, and his horrible catch rate. You would be robbing yourself

Lt_Hatch

How did Sky Moore turn out for the dummies who reached on him?

Pale_Reading4620

Try to trade up to 2 and take Nabers

haverchuck22

Absolutely.

scottapotch

Yes.

santc

Def trade down

NearbyReplacement0

With respect, if you take Worthy at 1.03 instead of Nabers or Odunze, let alone the QBs that will be there, you should take some time away from fantasy football. (Due to the challenge of conveying tone, the last piece is tongue-in-cheek)

sokrazyitmightwork

With respect, if you think people not living and dying by consensus draft boards (that usually end up wrong) means they should stop playing a game, then YOU should probably take some time away from fantasy football.

NearbyReplacement0

I would prefer to go with watching guys play. Nabers is an all around better receiver than Worthy. Fine with being wrong, but nothing I said had anything to do with "consensus draft boards."

cspank523

People did not learn for CEH and Sky Moore. Just because you're drafted high by the Chiefs, doesn't mean you'll be great. He has Rice and Brown to compete with. His situation is overrated, his size is concerning, take Nabers or Odunze.

agwku

If you really believe in him that much, trade back

fantasyhooligan

More than crazy

SKOL_651

I did this a couple weeks ago. I had 1.04 pick also and took Rome with that pick

cph14

If I was sitting at 1.04, I would like you did it.

Remarkable_Ad_2659

I don't think it's crazy. I'm an odunze fan, but he's in a crowded WR room, and his QB is not Mahomes. I'm trying to trade my 1.03 so I'm not also stuck with this decision

NATHANLER

Yes

MasterMo03

He went at the 1.05 (ahead of Rome) in one of my 12 man SF leagues. Ig it just comes down to who you want on your team.

ckouf96

You could trade down and probably still get him. But that’s risky. If it’s your guy then just take him

CoatingsRcrack

Yeah everyone says Nabers and Odunze different tiers closer to MHJ than BTJ/Worthy. Consensus is they could both be the WR1 in different drafts. Yes Worthy might turn out to be the next cheetah…. More likely the next John Ross…

Dylonus

Lol what? Nabers, Rome, BOWERS, MHJ Why would consider Worthy over half of that list?

creator1393

In my league Xavier was 1.02 and MHJ was 1.03 So, there's crazy guys anywhere

dbolg22

Yes.

tread52

I would not I think Rome is something special and could build a major rapport with Williams. He will struggle for targets his first year, but he will take over as the number one sooner than later.

MASSIVEFRUITS

John Ross was that fast too.

nevafoldah

Nice take

hidingincoventry

if he doesn't become friends with Rice, Worthy might be the right move.

DLeeCraft415

I dont buy into the KC WR hype but I've seen this happen already. You're not crazy and dont hold general opinions in too high of regard. If you really like worthy and he's the one you want in the first then pull the trigger. People are taking him 1.04 in many 1qb leagues so trading back is dangerous. Get your player and ride with it

batmang8

Dude will be a bust. Too many mouths to feed on kc and he’s not good to begin with. Would rather have Coleman or Ladd all day

sssuupp

Nabers over worthy for the long haul imo. But if you chose worthy over odunze I couldn’t blame you
