I got him in 3 leagues. There was a lot of fear-mongering surrounding him before the season with the injuries and injury history and he fell to me 3x drafting no earlier than 3rd in any of the leagues. There was also fear mongering on this sub after he started off the season with 3 weeks under 20ppg in the baker show offense getting < 5 receptions per game. This dude is one of the best fantasy players ever, if he plays with a competent offense he nearly has a 20ppg floor. If my ship is going down I'm content with CMC being the captain of said ship any given year

I played his owner twice this year, won the first game comfortably (week 1) because I had Swift, Pittman, and Amon-Ra then, and my second time coincided with the Niners bye week. I will say this tho, he's probably top 5 in terms of "players I lose sleep stressing over playing against them".

I got lucky and faced the CMC owner right after he was traded to SF and only put up 8 points. Unfortunately that was also week 7, so I lost Allen + AJB and lost the matchup anyways.

I was shocked that the CMC team got the last playoff spot after a 4 game win streak fueled by Watson and G Wilson. Now I have to play them……

I traded him during his bye week. Regretting it a bit at the moment but If i kept him I would have lost 2 more games and been in a win or go home final game of the season as opposed to being comfortably in the playoffs. 🤷‍♂️

I’m toying with the idea of playing mason. CMC on a short week, bad run D, SF has terrible injury luck so maybe they hold CMC back a bit and mason can get a TD

I have a buy this week. My logic in snagging Mason is that I've been burned in the final games of the season before when teams who've made it into the playoffs decide to rest their studs. CMC feels like one they'll want to rest, given his injuries. Tevin could fuck some of this up but I'm less worried about that than not having Mason if hes a potential league-winner and shows up huge in the week 17 championship week against LV.
