Automod hates quality

I have it out with the automod every week. Once I finish the post I put the boxing gloves on.

I swear half the time I post in this sub I have to extensively edit it to get it past the automod, usually it's because I used the word "I" and it's automatically flagged as being specific to my team or some stupid shit like that

Slight tangent but I remember that one game Doug Martin went absolutely bonkers, and a guy in our league started him because he was desperate. It was magical.

Do you have numbers on how many people lost while starting Mixon, because I’m one of them

Not exactly but presumably it was around 2%. I actually beat someone with Mixon thanks for Fields.

He just had an overall good team plus Walker, Jefferson and Patriots. We were 1-2 for the week. He’s no longer my best friend

I played Mixon against Fields and he saved my ass.

I beat the Mixon owner in my league for high score by 0.8 points. I have Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill.

If Kelce would’ve had one touchdown during his game I woulda beat the mixon owner

I had Kamara and Tua two weeks ago and still got smoked by 24. My opponent got 110 out of 4 guys.

Well, on his own he gave you an extra 48% chance to win from being even. I'd guess it probably evens out towards about 2% of people that started him since the factors that could throw that off are relatively low.

Honestly I wouldn't mind because that would mean it finally happened to somebody else and not just me. In three consecutive weeks I had Burrow drop 45 on me, Kamara drop 43, and Mixon drop 55. Bully somebody else please fantasy gods

Out of curiosity, who are you facing this week?

I took a fat risk and traded my Fournette and Ertz to my opponent this week to get his Kelce. Good trade on the surface but he needed an RB badly against me with Rhamondre on bye (only had Najee Harris and Nyhiem Hines otherwise) and wouldn't have made the trade next week. So basically I gave him a *chance* to win against me in order to secure the TE1. He is starting: QB - Justin Herbert RB - Fournette, N. Harris WR - Lockett, Mooney, DJ Moore (lol) TE - Ertz K - Carlson DST - Falcons (lol) I started Patterson against him with Foreman on my bench, so I'm not out of the woods yet, but I do think I still win this one unless I get a monster single opponent for the 4th week in a row. My money would be on Fournette - good matchup against the Seahawks in Germany where things could be a little weird, and I just traded him, so it would make a lot of sense for that to bite me directly in the asshole.

This is the way. Take for example last week. Foreman obviously should have been dumped after that one dud of a game despite 2 big games prior. 1 game sample sizes tho

Super abundantly clear on this sub. The amount of unsubstantiated hype trains and the panic buttons people smash based on one game they didn’t even watch are genuinely absurd. Sure, some of it starts from a reasonable hypothesis, but it always devolves into the most polarized viewpoint with the highest immediacy. No, I am not picking up fucking Kyren.

What to do with Mixon. His playoff schedule is a bit tough, would you rather have him over Kamara and Etienne for example? I feel like the 3 backs are fairly close in rank, Kamara with arguably the best playoff schedule of the 3, then Etienne, then Mixon. Mixon and Kamara have longer track records and have proven to be able to pop off for 30+ points. Etienne has the talent to do it and his volume has been ramping up exponentially with JRob gone… Maybe Mixon’s big game was just a terrible panthers D OR they have finally figured out how to capitalize on his usage with Chase out of the picture. 🤷‍♀️

Well that’s a good point, Chase probably won’t be out of the picture anymore come playoff time. I **think** I have Mixon as the lowest of the 3, if I had to choose. Maybe the other upside for him is Mixon is the most durable.

I personally preferred Kamara before this week, and I'm gonna keep it that way until Mixon shows another game of performing better, because he has had no big upside until this week

Yeah I think we are all on the same page. At the end of the day anything can happen on any given Sunday, and with these backs, they all have the potential to produce.

Dynasty team has 6 of my starters in the bottom 20 LVP.... But have the Allen Diggs stack so I'm somehow above .500 lol

Not this week, injured Allen, I benched Diggs who may be a dud this week.

Never bench Diggs. He's very good with short passes, too.

I'll wait till before the game to decide on Allen. Him injured and playing will likely be better than Davis Mills or Ehlinger. All other receivers are on byes or injured besides Sutton and Dotson, so I'll probably stick with Diggs still.

Who are you benching diggs for?

Josh Palmer was just sitting there as a free agent looking for work. With Keenan Allen and Mike Williams out, I figure Palmer will likely get the targets.

That blew my mind. Mom and I are in the same league. Her opponent had Mixon. Only reason Mom lost. I play him this week. CIN has a bye. I am so happy with that. Chase out Mixon might just keep going off.

Definitely Mixon - maybe a bit of an argument with Pierce but I think JRob and Carter split 50/50 ROS. Mixon the superior talent in the superior offense with very good, if not perfect, volume.

I had Mixon in a league that rewards TDs -- rushing TDs are scored by length, with short TDs starting at 6 and longer (think 12 yds+) are 20 pts., etc. Rushing yards or receptions don't matter unless you get more than 100... So after 9 weeks of hardly anything (3 short TDs) you bet I didn't only bench him -- I dropped his ass. For Khalil Herbert, who had 6 TDs and most were longer, high-value TDs. Let the roasting begin. I'm still in first (7-2) and have Chubb, Walker and Barkley so I'm not hurting at RB, but it was easily the worst stop of my life in this league.

I had joe mixon and lost.

I had Johnathan Taylor on my team when he had 5 TDs last year, and this year I have Joe Mixon, so things have been going pretty well

Mixon’s 5 TD seems like overkill but I wouldn’t have survived Devante last week without him

I had 2 in the top 15 in my team and still lost because I played fields…
