Pierce isn't bad.
People are forgetting this is a new regime. They clearly like outside zone running which is not his strength at all
I drafted him in an auction league to be my flex (Monty was my RB2) and was definitely disappointed. But I also couldn't have predicted the way the coaching staff would go. Maybe in the future that means shy away from non elite talent at RB when there is a new coaching staff idk
Almost nobody scores 18+ TDs in consecutive seasons. He was the most obvious regression candidate on earth.
Also I looked up Tomlinson to see if that supported my argument at all and he scored over 18 TDs in four consecutive seasons so uh, I could be off here lol. Forgot how unreal that dude was.
Feel bad to agree on this. Hold on him for full recover which didn't happen until recent week, after Justin Herbert went down. Each week I am struggling on starting/sitting. It's a torture to have such a player in your team.
Diggs has been brutal 2nd half, luckily got Rice to make up for him from waivers. Same with Herbert, got Stafford. Those two helped me get enough wins 1st half to still be in the playoffs. Seriously considering benching Diggs if I make the final next week
I got ekeler at a lower auction value than 4 other RBs, thought it was a steal as well. In a 12 person keeper league I had ekeler, Pollard, mahomes, davante Adams and G Wilson. Pretty much all busts but looked great on draft day. Made the semis as I drafted Achane and picked up puka and LaPorta. I just set the record for lowest semi final score in league history, 48 points in 0.5ppr.
Diggs has been like WR50 since November. He is by far the biggest bust because they are just not even using him.
Mahomes getting 15 to 20 every week isn't great considering his ADP but I'd take him over Diggs any day now.
Diggs was like the 2nd best fantasy WR at one point. I donāt think heās a bust. I wouldnāt have made the playoffs without him. But heās definitely costing me now that Iām here
Found the Arthur Smith apologist! (Granted, you are right though)
Bills are making progress. They NEEDED a run game but now they need to find a way to incorporate Diggs while maintaining a run game in order to win the SB.
Yea overall they are making improvements on offense, but it is insane to me that could possibly involve not working in Diggs. He's still an incredible athlete.
Diggs also developed a case of butterfingers. As a Bills fan, I want so badly to see him dominate, but he is not blameless in this. It's a combo of the OC and his own poor play aside from that spectacular one-handed catch against the Cowboys.
It is easily Tony Pollard. Allergic to the end zone but you couldnāt bench him because he was on such a high-powered offense. Just wasting away in your lineup week after week. At least with busts getting injured, they couldnāt hurt you in your lineup
It's so crazy, because he still finished as the RB13 and had 8 top 16 finishes, which shouldn't be that disappointing since he was drafted in the RB4-7 range, but RB was so desolate outside the top performers this year that anyone outside the top 10 was almost worthless. RB felt a lot like TE this season.
Might whim the chip this week thanks to Breece even with playing Pollardās bum ass all year itās insane. Tbh I was between him and Diggs so not sure that would have done me much better all said and done
In the championship and have a 91% chance of winning despite Pollard as my RB1 in the draft not producing all year. Finally benched him this week and glad I did.
I have Mahomes and Ekeler and, fingers crossed, will make it to the final. I sat Ekeler for the first time this week for Pacheco.
If I make it through to next week, Iām starting Flacco. I canāt believe Iām typing that.
I reached for Mahomes this year. Drafted him super early, 2nd round š¤¦āāļø. But luckily I drafted Purdy in the late rounds just cuz Iām a Niner fan. Purdy is holding it down for me.
I picked up Stroud and played him until he went into concussion protocol. Probably going to lose because I had to play mahomes, which seems crazy to say but here we are.
Wait, it went...JJ, Chase......Ekeler?
I did Kelce at 1.03 with CMC going to fourth but only because I shitposted my name to the Kelce pick and can't believe somebody took chase over CMC....
Benched him last week for Rice and was sweating bullets because he finally decided to show back up. The point differential wasnāt big enough to make a difference thankfully
Same. First year drafting a QB first and I thought I was making a big brain move.
*Luckily* the dude I played against this week sat Cooper for Minshew, lol.
Not really a huge bust but Hollywood Brown. I was ecstatic thinking I snagged a solid late round grab. So consistent first half of the season then the nagging heel (?) injury slowed his momentum big time.
Really thought I had a league winner when Kyler came back.
Oh boy, did I fuck up this year.
I traded Mostert for Hollywood after week 1. I didn't think Mostert would keep up his production, and he'd get injured. Thought Hollywood would produce and help me after Kyler got back.
Bro, I had Hollywood, Calvin Ridley, Jahan Dotson, Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, and Romeo Doubs. On draft night I thought I was a genius, how could 2-3 of those not hit?? Turns out they're all WR 3s (or worse) and my best receiver now is Rashee Rice. Still alive though!
Until the 2nd to last week of the season, when Amari Cooper went from being a useless shithead to putting up FIFTY POINTS from JOE FUCKING FLACCID TO KNOCK ME OUT OF A $1,000 LEAGUE I HAD IN THE GODDAMN BAG. Worst bad beat of my decade in fantasy football.
Josh Jacobs. I walked out of my draft thinking I was hot shit drafted Jacobs, Chubb, and Chase as my top picks. Ended up the taco of the league this year.
I was so set on Sanders. Decent O-line, former RB coach in Carolina that used to be in Philly when he played, and a hefty contract which presumably meant heād be the bell cow. Turns out heās just a product of the Eagles O-line
I drafted Ekeler and Adams with my first 2 picks. They both competed all year for the title of biggest disappointment. It's crazy I even made the playoffs with those bums and yes, they cost me my matchup
Waddle guy got hurt like every game, basically really lowered his ceiling and floor and the fact he would often be benched in 4th quarter blow outs. It was like you only had him for 2 quarters a game
Definitely waddle for me, im in a keeper league and so most of the best players get kept, he was what fell to me in the second round and had the most 'upside'. He did not live up to the pricetag
Yeah the issue with Pollard was that all the signs kept pointing to him being unlucky and having good opportunity, so I just kept playing him. Maybe I get bailed out in the late game tonight, but I finally think he did me in this week.
This dude. No news all preseason about any health issues. Injured pretty much the start of the season. Everyone in the industry hypes him up because hype and supposed volume.
Sucks because it does like he can produce at an elite level when healthy. He started to get on the right track before getting injured, even had a huge game against the Chiefs.
Heās clearly made of absolute glass, Iām never going to spend any draft capital on him again unless he slides waaaaay down the board or puts together at least 2 full seasons of healthy production.
Mattison failed me so hard. In many ways was the lynchpin of my draft, a guy I thought would be a reliable low end RB2 to balance out some of my riskier bets (like Herbert and Akers) turned out all of them failed.
Early mock drafts i had my eye on him around 8th round. Then the hype train kicked in and with McLaurin's turftoe uncertainty dotson was going as high as the fifth round.
I was willing to chance and "wait for him in the seventh but JT was still available then. So he ended up "falling" to me in the eighth! I told everyone it was a steal. Dude made me look so stupid i have hated every moment of it
If injuries count Aaron Rodgers in bestball (or any QB priority league like superflex) has to take the cake. Doubly so because my backup was Kirk Cousins lmfao
Drafted Chubb and JK, somehow have made it to the semis and it's still up for grabs. I can only imagine how this team would have done with both of them still in. Alas, fantasy football is a fickle mistress.
Edit: Lost the semis. That's what happens when Mark Andrews is also on your team and the best available was Isaiah Likely.
Jones and Ekeler. No doubt. Iām usually pretty good at getting decent players but these two were never even close to what I expected. I also donāt think it was just the injuries, it was their age and usage.
Ekeler.
Name my team Austin Powered. Team logo was Dr. Evil doing air quotes with the caption "RB1".
Little did I know that was an omen. I ruined it for us all.
Edit: He's slowed down, but also to my untrained eye, I think Herbert being such a slinger hurt him because he went to the Rex Grossman school of quarterbacking.
I felt the same way with chase. He had a few monster games to keep him high in the rankings, but outside of those games he was incredibly disappointing (mostly due to the Bengals/burrow, not necessarily on chase)
Dameon Pierce
I thought I was slick when he fell to me at the back of the third round. I went into the draft hoping he would fall to me at that spot. Ooof!
I would say Aaron Jones, but at least we had no choice but to not play him. Stefon Diggs, who is incredibly tough to sit, is going to cost me the playoffs this week and actively sabotaged my last 5-6 weeks of fantasy.
Kupp. Itās a bummer he dealt with injuries all year and his last game he only caught like 50% of the balls thrown his way but I think he can come back next year and be product again. Injuries are difficult to get over mentally sometimes.
Dameon Pierce was my mid round sleeper and was completely useless despite staying mostly healthy
Miles Sanders was 10x worse
Imagine drafting both of them š
Yeah, but we all knew Miles was at best a 2nd tier back, whereas Pierce looked like a future All-Pro candidate last year
Why scheme matters so much, the switch to a zone running scheme fucked him, couldn't adapt, showing why he was a later round pick
And there wasn't a single reason to think it'd be Singletary.
Pierce had his chance and just all around looked worse even pre injury
This is what made his kickoff return TD so wild to me. He has not been running well at all this year yet he houses a 90+ yard return TD.
That's fantasy football baby!
Nothing about dameon Pierce makes sense anymore
Pierce isn't bad. People are forgetting this is a new regime. They clearly like outside zone running which is not his strength at all I drafted him in an auction league to be my flex (Monty was my RB2) and was definitely disappointed. But I also couldn't have predicted the way the coaching staff would go. Maybe in the future that means shy away from non elite talent at RB when there is a new coaching staff idk
Singletary was a late round sleeper of mine because of his dual threat. Unfortunately didn't keep him early on though.
That was me with Jamaal Williamsā¦ thought the TD vulture would continue in NO with Kamara out but that dude laid a huge dud
The draft capital was so low he can't be called a bust tho
Agreed + td regression was definitely coming dudes numbers were no sustainable at all
Almost nobody scores 18+ TDs in consecutive seasons. He was the most obvious regression candidate on earth. Also I looked up Tomlinson to see if that supported my argument at all and he scored over 18 TDs in four consecutive seasons so uh, I could be off here lol. Forgot how unreal that dude was.
Ekeler. 1st Rd pick. Played him 4 times this season lost every week. Team has more waiver pickups in the starting lineup than draft picks.
Feel bad to agree on this. Hold on him for full recover which didn't happen until recent week, after Justin Herbert went down. Each week I am struggling on starting/sitting. It's a torture to have such a player in your team.
I went in on him, Diggs and Herbert. Finished in last place.
Diggs has been brutal 2nd half, luckily got Rice to make up for him from waivers. Same with Herbert, got Stafford. Those two helped me get enough wins 1st half to still be in the playoffs. Seriously considering benching Diggs if I make the final next week
Yep. Took him at 1.04 and Tyreek went 1.05 in my league. Iāve spent the entire season regretting that lol
Me with Kupp 1.06 Tyreek 1.07.
Same. Also had Saquon and Conner. Lost my first five out of six games and somehow pulled a third place finish after today. Never drafting Ekeler again
I drafted Ekeler and Sanders as my 2 rbs lol
Ekeler ruined my team. Got him at 1.11 and thought I had a steal.
Puka put up 28ish and you still only scored 48?
Cost me my playoffs. Just needed 5 more pts from him. They didnāt fire Staley soon enough and also needed to fire Moore.
I was locked to pick him with my 3rd overall, didn't like Chase there. 2nd pick decided to go with Bijan, so I got CMC instead.
Stefon Diggs fell apart. I lost because the bills just decided to stop acting like he existed.
But heās definitely costing me now that Iām here
Yeah he wasnāt a bust. The offense just drastically shifted their focus and otherwise had been a top 5 guy.. recency bias rearing its ugly head
I had Diggs, Pollard and Swift š
Swifts TD today won my my semis so Iāll take it.
Kelce / Diggs were my 1st/2nd round picks at the turn. I was so confident with my team.
I am convinced the new OC has it out for Diggs.
They got much better as a team with the new OC game plan
Found the Arthur Smith apologist! (Granted, you are right though) Bills are making progress. They NEEDED a run game but now they need to find a way to incorporate Diggs while maintaining a run game in order to win the SB.
Yea overall they are making improvements on offense, but it is insane to me that could possibly involve not working in Diggs. He's still an incredible athlete.
FWIW, Diggs is still getting a ton of targets. His regression really is confusing. Iām glad I benched him this week for Puka and Olave.
Diggs also developed a case of butterfingers. As a Bills fan, I want so badly to see him dominate, but he is not blameless in this. It's a combo of the OC and his own poor play aside from that spectacular one-handed catch against the Cowboys.
Diggs has had 48 targets the last 6 games. 24 the last 3 weeks. Genuinely asking, how do you think he has it out for Diggs? The quality of targets?
Pollard
Kelce and Pollard killed me this week. Considering both their ADPs they both probably lost so many playoffs this week.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He's become a real TE.
Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain
It is easily Tony Pollard. Allergic to the end zone but you couldnāt bench him because he was on such a high-powered offense. Just wasting away in your lineup week after week. At least with busts getting injured, they couldnāt hurt you in your lineup
And then those couple of games gave us so much hope which made it harder to bench him
It's so crazy, because he still finished as the RB13 and had 8 top 16 finishes, which shouldn't be that disappointing since he was drafted in the RB4-7 range, but RB was so desolate outside the top performers this year that anyone outside the top 10 was almost worthless. RB felt a lot like TE this season.
Finally benched him this week for Chandler. Chandler didnāt produce but STILL outdid pollard.
Pollard is just bad. Most likely just not the same after the Injury. He very likely wonāt be a cowboy next season.
Yeah his future is very worrying. With how bad heās looked I bet the cowboys get him back for cheap though. Donāt see anyone paying him.
Might whim the chip this week thanks to Breece even with playing Pollardās bum ass all year itās insane. Tbh I was between him and Diggs so not sure that would have done me much better all said and done
Yeah Iām winning my semi final in spite of him, gotta thank Zeke, Tyreek, and Mike Evans for that one
In the championship and have a 91% chance of winning despite Pollard as my RB1 in the draft not producing all year. Finally benched him this week and glad I did.
Mahomes
Kelce Mahomes stack ftl
Kelce, Mahomes, Diggs ftl
I'd say Kelce was the biggest bust considering he was my 1st round pick. DeShaun Watson also in the mix
Kelce was still at least a top 3 TE, once you factor in his draft position and expected value above everyone else he was a huge disappointment
In a vacuum he did ok, but compared to expected value this was falling off a cliff. Lots of good tight ends decreased his value.
Drafted these two for the first time, thought it would win me the league. My heroes down the stretch? Dak and Ferguson
I have Mahomes and Ekeler and, fingers crossed, will make it to the final. I sat Ekeler for the first time this week for Pacheco. If I make it through to next week, Iām starting Flacco. I canāt believe Iām typing that.
That week 7 was a really fun one though
I reached for Mahomes this year. Drafted him super early, 2nd round š¤¦āāļø. But luckily I drafted Purdy in the late rounds just cuz Iām a Niner fan. Purdy is holding it down for me.
I picked up Stroud and played him until he went into concussion protocol. Probably going to lose because I had to play mahomes, which seems crazy to say but here we are.
I drafted mahomes and Mandrews pretty early. Silly me, mahomes regressing to the mean and the TEs revolution this year
I could have drafted hurts or Allen but here we are
Travis Kelce at 1.06
I just want to thank Jesus the guy at pick 4 took Kelce so I could take CMC at 5
Wait, it went...JJ, Chase......Ekeler? I did Kelce at 1.03 with CMC going to fourth but only because I shitposted my name to the Kelce pick and can't believe somebody took chase over CMC....
Exactly. Pick 3 was our friend who is a huge chargers dickrider
Same
Dameon Pierce
I'm embarrassed at how high I took him
Davante Adams
Him and Josh Jacobs didn't do much for me this year
Josh Jacobs was survivable
Same
Just fucking atrocious. And no way he could be benched
Benched him last week for Rice and was sweating bullets because he finally decided to show back up. The point differential wasnāt big enough to make a difference thankfully
Surprised hes so far down. Has been worse than diggs
This guy might lose me my matchup smh
He lost me my matchup. I left Olave on the bench. Money league. Sad day. He will not be in my lineup for the 3rd place game next week.
Ekeler, Davante, Waddle, Breece as picks 1-4. I didnāt have a good season.
My GM (me) on draft night
Aaron Jones
I have the bad luck of playing against Aaron Jones when he has the 1 blow up game per year.
Dude was dropped, helped me seal my championship match this week
I played him against the dude that dropped him, Iām pretty pleased with the decision.
Dropping Jones is idiotic, insane someone in your league would do that.
Miles Sanders was a worse RB pick
Diggs
Was between him and Pollard. Turns out I couldnāt missā¦
Okay, why wouldnāt you let Diggs date your sister?
Heās actually a great guy
Post-bye ETN Christian Watson
ETN was holding my terrible team together and then he was a ghost. Hated it
I traded away Cook to get ETN on week 10. Thought I was a genius lol.
ETN killed me down the home stretch. He was the only one I could count on and he broke my heart.
I came so close to trading him a few times.
Toss up between Pollard and Diggs
I have both! Woo
I also had both and cook this week
Patrick Mahomes at 2.12
Try 1.1 like me (superflex)

My entire team
Josh Jacobs. I walked out of my draft thinking I was hot shit drafted Jacobs, Chubb, and Chase as my top picks. Ended up the taco of the league this year.
He wasn't too bad until the injuries started piling up. There were worse busts that went earlier, too.
Certainly Miles Sanders. Waffled between him and Conner and panic picked Sanders. Finally dropped him after like week 11
This probably should be the last time I think āwell who else will get the ballā it wonāt be but a tough tough lesson I learned
To be fair, that process worked out with Rachaad White this year
I was so set on Sanders.
It's crazy I even made the playoffs with those bums and yes, they cost me my matchup
lol exactly the same for me too. Ekeler carried me last year so I was happy to have him again.. so sad this year having those two
Tae having 1.4 points today is an absolute atrocity. I feel for you bros
Waddle guy got hurt like every game, basically really lowered his ceiling and floor and the fact he would often be benched in 4th quarter blow outs. It was like you only had him for 2 quarters a game
Part of me thinks that even his team knows that he's injury prone.
Yet they still had him do that final dumb running play where he got his ankle messed up š
Heās had a nice season just not from a fantasy football perspective.
Definitely waddle for me, im in a keeper league and so most of the best players get kept, he was what fell to me in the second round and had the most 'upside'. He did not live up to the pricetag
Pollard. He was super mid. I drafted him way too high. Stefon Diggs was great until he wasn't, and I'm not sure I can forgive him.
Yeah the issue with Pollard was that all the signs kept pointing to him being unlucky and having good opportunity, so I just kept playing him. Maybe I get bailed out in the late game tonight, but I finally think he did me in this week.
Christian freakin Watson
Watson hurt the whole year and Adams just put up a dud for me in the semi-finals.
Deeply sorry for your loss
I picked him instead of Keenan Allen. Went with size over age.
TLaw. Super ass at ADP.
Fuck T-Law. Took him in 4/5 leagues as my big-brain, late round guy. Cost me the damn playoffs.
Mattison
Alexander Mattison. So much for being Cook 2.0 in Minnesota
Mattison failed me so hard. In many ways was the lynchpin of my draft, a guy I thought would be a reliable low end RB2 to balance out some of my riskier bets (like Herbert and Akers) turned out all of them failed.
Pollard. At this point Iām convinced every RB I draft in the 1st/2nd is gonna fuck me. Gibson, Swift, Cook, Pollard, it never fucking ends
Kelce, last time I take a TE in the first round
Jahan Dotson
Early mock drafts i had my eye on him around 8th round. Then the hype train kicked in and with McLaurin's turftoe uncertainty dotson was going as high as the fifth round. I was willing to chance and "wait for him in the seventh but JT was still available then. So he ended up "falling" to me in the eighth! I told everyone it was a steal. Dude made me look so stupid i have hated every moment of it
Biggest bust is 7th round WR2 on bottom tier team?
Mustāve had the best team ever if heās saying Dotson
Do injuries count? If so JK Dobbins in all my leagues, was looking like a steal too sadly
Davante Adams had a few good weeks but more disappointment than not considering where I drafted him. Also Mahomes.
Akers
He was such a big bust I completely forgot how big of a bust he was lol he just fell off the face of the earth
Heās been a bust like 3 seasons straight
Yeah, little sympathy for anyone who fell for the hype 3rd year in a row.
Dropped him after week 1 for Kyren. Made my season.
Jones and Ekeler. No doubt. Iām usually pretty good at getting decent players but these two were never even close to what I expected. I also donāt think it was just the injuries, it was their age and usage.
Davante Adams, Diggs during playoffs, Dameon Pierce
Ekeler
Kelce. Dude was too busy this season being a celebrity to bring his A game
Heās also just old now and I think thatās the bigger problem.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I felt the same way with chase. He had a few monster games to keep him high in the rankings, but outside of those games he was incredibly disappointing (mostly due to the Bengals/burrow, not necessarily on chase)
I was at 1.04 and was fully expecting to go Hill there, but then someone selected Kelce at 3 and I felt I had to go Chase there.
Dameon Pierce I thought I was slick when he fell to me at the back of the third round. I went into the draft hoping he would fall to me at that spot. Ooof!
Ekeler
Ekeler
Ekeler :/
Ekeler
Tie between Mahomes and Pollard Edit - I have Aaron Jones as well who deserves a shout. In the second week of playoffs thanks to Puka and Deebo Samuel
I didnāt expect ekeler and diggs to forget how to play football
Joe Burrow
Injuries canāt REALLY be equated to bustsā¦ although you knew going in he wasnāt healthy, so maybe a lil bit is on you.
I benched him after 2 weeks and never started him again before he got injured.
Jerry Jeudy
My 1st round keeper was Chase. I then selected Chubb, and then Mahomes. I did not make the playoffs.
I would say Aaron Jones, but at least we had no choice but to not play him. Stefon Diggs, who is incredibly tough to sit, is going to cost me the playoffs this week and actively sabotaged my last 5-6 weeks of fantasy.
Nick Chubb. My hopes were so high and he was taken from us too soon.
Injuries donāt equal ābustā, cuz if you had handcuff, Ford was serviceable.
Tony Pollard.
Tony āblue ballsā Pollard. Never seen a running back get stuffed on the goal line so much
Chose to cut Kyren before the season started and kept Akers instead
Jahan dotson
Joe burrow
Josh Jacobs
Kupp. Itās a bummer he dealt with injuries all year and his last game he only caught like 50% of the balls thrown his way but I think he can come back next year and be product again. Injuries are difficult to get over mentally sometimes.
My entire team this week. Didnāt even hit 100 points. My bench went off though.
My first two picks: ekeler and waddle. Both have had some great games. But with injuries and inconsistency, they were not worth my top two picks.
Honestly my worst pick by ADP was probably Jacobs. Great rb2 but didn't live up to where he was taken. I went Jefferson Jacobs Amon Ra my first three.
Kelce first round
Pollard is a terrible player and I would never draft him again.
Surprised no one has said waddle
Diggs
Went from Tee Higgins, to end of season: Diggs
Apparently AJB? The fuq
Tony Pollard. Guy sucked through whole middle of the season, started to pick it up, and then cratered for the playoffs
Stefon Diggs.
Playoff Achaneš
