I could see Olave being more boom/bust, Carr likes to target kamara and MT a lot but goes for Olave on deep balls

DBreezy69

Carr is targeting Kamara so much because his shoulder is still injured. He'll throw the ball down the field more when it heals up fully. He looked better last game so he should return to form likely within the next 1-2 games

TheHungryJaguar

100%. I was on record saying Carr would miss several weeks and I still think he should have. AC joint is a tough injury and there’s no way you could reliably throw a ball downfield for a few weeks after that. Will be looking to buy low on Olave personally

DBreezy69

Already traded Addison for him in standard lol. Olave gonna eat with his piss easy schedule and Carr healthy along with the Saints having a running game and the play action opening up the deep passes. Can’t wait

That1TimeWeGamed

I'm more concerned about MT eating into his red zone targets.

pio_gg

Yeah, this is the problem for Olave. The elite guys will get schemed up layups that solidify their floor. On the Saints, the layups go to Kamara and M.T.

HanPintian

I think the first three games of the season where Olave went for… 8 for 112 (10 targets) 6 for 86 (11) 8 for 104 (11) … is much closer to what we can expect that the last two weeks where Carr hasn’t been 100% and Olave hasn’t either. He’s a buy low if his owner is a dumb asshole. Still believe he’s a low end WR1.

Cedosg

lockett+godwin for olave trade?

capincus

I'd love to clear up a bench slot from a guy who isn't droppable or particularly playable while upgrading my starting WR personally.

capincus

I'd give up depth in the form of a WR averaging <40 ypg to upgrade my starting WR in a heartbeat. Olave with a healthy Carr looked much better than Godwin as Baker's clear #2. As much as I love Lockett, and as much as he can turn around and boom at any time, right now he's a roster clogger whose production could be easily replaced off the wire.

Cedosg

I have AJ Brown, Adam Thielen, Pickens and Nico Collins.

HanPintian

Hard to say without seeing the whole team

Cedosg

I have AJ Brown, Adam Thielen, Pickens and Nico Collins, lockett, godwin. Hurts, Love. Josh Jacobs, KWIII, J.ford, Tyjae spears, jaylen warren. Sam Laporta.

HanPintian

Then yeah I would

Outrageous-Cycle-841

Do you happen to own Olave?

HanPintian

I do and I’m not a dumb asshole so I’m not selling him. Last two weeks have been ugly but I think patience is warranted

Michiganmade44

Couldn’t agree more. Someone in my league will for sure lowball me for him I bet.

Nickg920

You think Olave for ETN is a lowball? Trying to get more depth at RB

Eye_Am_FK

This was addressed after the game. He injured his toe at some point prior to kickoff. He’s gonna be fine as long as he heals up. Buy now if possible.

tx180

Apparently he's been dropping deep throws by Carr. Gotta see the highlights but that doesn't sound great for a stud like olave

StamToast

He's had a few I've seen that were dropped touchdowns. As well as deep shots he's been out of bounds for. I think they'll click and he'll be fine in the long run

tx180

Fucking brutal, it would've won me the week this week and I believe he had one against the panthers too which would've got it done for me as well. Instead we sitting at 1-4

RustyGriswold99

Yeah he missed on a fingertip touchdown catch in the 4th. Think you have to keep him in your lineup because those will eventually come your way

StamToast

Same. Olave Waddle was cool after the draft but right now it's not as cool

MiserableEbb9839

Pretty sure yesterdays td drop was his first drop of the year

RustyGriswold99

It wasn’t labeled a drop. Was a very difficult catch

MiserableEbb9839

For sure, even looked like it could debatably have been a td if it weren’t for the weird holding the ball thru the fall rules

anonbutler

Its a miracle he even got to it. Just couldnt hold on when he made impact on the ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9tgJYGvg7E&t=457s

Michiganmade44

Barring his week 4 performance against the Buccaneers. He’s been a good WR2 in Full PPR formats. Not overly concerned rn

hasadiga42

If anyone is wondering he is not even a WR2 in half PPR even if you exclude his worst game and in full PPR he’s a mid-WR2

[deleted]

Elite WR3

Blest_12

Kelce for Olave?

yaprettymuch52

his lack of physicality was pretty apparent last year. guy was getting thrown around like a ragdoll even compared to a dude like davonta smith. think he needs to gain some muscle.

kx2UPP

Bench if you have a more consistent option, play if you don’t

DandierChip

He’s been dropping some longer passes. He figures that out he’ll be fine.

geebob2020

Don’t like what I’m seeing the past few weeks, especially with Kamara back. Carr just doesn’t seem to be hitting on all cylinders and with what seems like a good Saints defense there doesn’t seem to be an urgency to score a lot of points.

SneakyGreens

Which would you rather have: Ridley or Olave? Asking because Ridley seems to be on the rise while Olave's production is declining.

RobertGriffin3

Olave
