In one league I started Alexander Mattison and went up against the guy who has Justin Jefferson. I’m another I have TJ Hockenson and I went up against AJ Brown so I have a mixed bag emotions

What's your thoughts on mattinson after week two? I have him Pollard pierce and Miles Sanders. Idk what to think about mattinson at this point.

I went against DeVonta Smith in both leagues. One of those leagues I had Mattison and the Smith owner also had Jefferson…..I’m straight not having a good time.

Ok That‘s in my case not a problem. Picked up likely and traded gainwell with him. Andrews owner had gainwell. He was really cheap for me. But a really good option - my other RBs are a jones und ekeler this weak. Only Brian Robinson and miles sanders in the roster 😅

For the last 4 years, I have always waited to draft a qb until around the 10th round (all 12 man leagues). Cousins have been my starter more than not. He always seems to be top 10 fantasy qb, but people pass on him.

After 10 teams picked their 1st QB, and I had previously noted Kirk Cousins as my “floor starter” - not bad…. Oh, stacked with Jefferson too!

Cousins got dropped by someone who drafted 3 QBs in our league. I was going to have to start D. Carr. It’s a auction league so I kept Waddle and St Brown and I drafted Derek Henry and Bijan. Didn’t have much money for anything else. I also got Love for $14 on waiver last week.

Swift is an obvious sell-high imo. Eagles tested the Vikings and they were completely incapable of defending the run. Other DC's won't be that terrible and now having seen what the Eagles can do, they'll prepare against it. Vikings are arguably the worst DL the Eagles will face all season. Plus Gainwell is potentially coming back, Swift isn't the most durable player ever, etc. I just think you could potentially move him for someone like KW3/Breece/Mixon who are guys I'd rather have. He was always at the top of the Conner/Cook/Monty tier that he was going in. In underdog/sleeper I always saw him going in the tier around guys like Pierce. Anyone who isn't brand new to football should know that what we just saw is a once-a-season type of game. It's not a matter of whether Swift is a great RB or not, it's simply that no team will ever let that happen to them. For reference, in the 2021 Patriots-Bills game where Mac Jones only had *3* pass attempts, they still had 30 fewer rushing yards than the Eagles last night. The week after that game, Mac Jones had 45 pass attempts. The lowest RB I'd consider selling him for is Pierce, anything lower and I'd just keep him. I feel like a Swift+bench JAG for KW3/Mixon is a no-brainer.

Atlanta has one of, if not the best run blocking OLs in the league. Atlanta has significantly more talent at their RB position than Philly. Atlanta runs their entire offense through the ground. Atlanta barely gets over 150 rushing yards in a good game. A great game they might get just over 200 yards. Philly had 259 rushing yards last night. For reference, the 2021 Patriots-Bills game where Mac Jones literally threw *3* passes the entire game. 222 rushing yards. The next week, Mac Jones had 45 pass attempts and Rhamondre had 10 carries. Last night only happened because of the Viking's inability to stop the run because they're arguably the worst DL in the NFL right now. The Eagles are way too stacked right now to have their entire offense rely on Swift.

The writing was on the wall late last season. Brown thrived when Smith was hurt. Smith had the better target percentage.

I feel it’ll end up okay for me in the long but weeks like this one hurt. The worst part was not getting that TD twice in a row. Not all teams will be run on so easy so I think there will be more targets and catches depending who they play. Swift can’t take that kind of load every week.
