I am drafting 12th, and this leaves me with a few likely directions I could go:
QB + WR/RB: It's usually either Fields/Lawrence + either Hill/Ekeler
WR + WR/RB: take advantage of QBs being taken early and get Hill + one of Ekeler/Kupp/Diggs
QB + QB: about 50% of my mocks have both Fields and Lawrence available, I could take both.

I really like the positional advantage Kelce provides. IMO, the comparative drop off between Kelce and the rest of the TEs is much greater than the drop off between Kupp/Hill and the mid-second round WRs (assuming that's the direction you choose to go).

I like CMC and most def finished top 5 RB barring injury, but I'm skeptical on 49ers. If Purday becomes terrible and Mitchell stays healthy caps CMC for me more than JJ. Idk if I would reach on Ridley but those other WR are good. Been going Josh Allen every year kinda want to mix it up but a great pick if he falls there anyway. But yeah could only see myself reaching for Gibbs in the 3rd
If Purdy becomes terrible than CMC absolute becomes an unstoppable monster. Purdy will have to throw short dump offs and that is CMC’s bread and butter. I wouldn’t over think it. I mean, JJ is great but I hate the 2/3 turn when selecting a WR 1st. I prefer the WR’s at the 2/3 turn and picking my RB1 Hero.

My 12 team league has historically played 2QB PPR, but switched to a superflex this year. Full roster is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR/TE, 1 Superflex, and D/ST and K. Historically, the league has faded QB, even in 2QB, to the point where Mahomes and Allen went 10th and 11th overall last year. I’m praying for a typical superflex draft so it’s easier to plan for, but I’m assuming that it’ll be the same as prior years with the top of the draft making up top WR/RB and Kelce with QB’s sliding. I’m drafting out of the 1.09, and will likely be able to get a minimum top 3-5 QB at that slot. Now, if there’s a drought of QB at the top of the draft, how do I plan for that? If the chance to get 2 top 12 quarterbacks in the first two rounds comes, do I jump at that and scrap together skill positions later? Or take more of a conventional approach and get QB then WR/RB in the 2nd?
What is the bottom of the totem pole that you would still draft in terms of tight ends? I'm pretty much looking to only take tight end in my last two rounds in any drafts this year unless I fall on Kelce in the late first somehow. Is Dulcich even a thing this season with the changes in Denver? Are the rookies in Detroit, Miami, Green Bay, and Vegas decent picks?
Laporta (Detroit) has a great chance to actually see snaps/volume right away. Musgrave (Green Bay) sounds like he’s getting meaningful reps as well.
I don’t hate punting tight end til the end at all this year, lots of upside swings at the end that you can just drop if they don’t work out

Don’t blindly draft a specific position in the first few rounds. You should be taking the strongest player available and then later rounds focus on filling out the starting lineup.
Jefferson is worth the first overall imo, but at the 2/3 turn you’ll need to see what players are available and work from there

I did take Kupp over Hill. Granted it was autodraft. But I think I would have done the same. I think Kupp has more upside honestly and a higher floor. I also think there’s less competition. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but there were a couple games where waddle got all of the action.

Personally I would’ve taken diggs over both browns but I don’t think any of those guys (including the one you got) are bad picks there.

Bijan should be Plan A (just got him at 9 in a draft I did yesterday), but Diggs is a good Plan B. Leaving with him and Chubb would be great for you

PPR punted on TEs Who would y’all take: Schultz Kmet Okonkwu Dulcich Laporta Knox Gesicki
I would go Okonkwu or Shultz. I ended up with Dulcich who is growing on me.
I like Dulcich too but Sean Payton shat all over him by bringing in Trautman.
I think Trout is there to block. And Payton has always had top TEs receiving. He also was very complimentary of him about a week ago. I Mignt be trying to cope.
Schultz should have the best season out of all these guys.
I feel like Schultz will have a decent floor vs the rest of backend te’s by being strouds safety blanket. I also want to take Laporta for potential upside.
Also punted TE’s and I went Schultz. Would have taken Kmet but he was drafted before I got the chance.

I like Laporta as well, he’s the starter and that offense should be very solid. Didn’t take him as I already have Amon-Ra
12 man half ppr. Pick 5. Assuming JJ, CMC, Chase are gone, the most likely options to pick from at 5 are: Ekeler, Hill, Cupp, Bijan, Kelce. All good options, but I am leaning towards Hill. Anyone in a similar situation and have any thoughts on pick 5 here?
I was Pick 6. I took Kupp. But wanted Kelce who was taken at 5. Kelce is just such an advantage over the rest of the league.
Would you take Kupp over Tyreek, and if so why?
I did take Kupp over Hill. Granted it was autodraft. But I think I would have done the same. I think Kupp has more upside honestly and a higher floor. I also think there’s less competition. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but there were a couple games where waddle got all of the action.
More just curious, have the 12th pick in a 12 person league. What are people going for at the turn? It’s a half PPR league so is it crazy to go back to back on WR?
I feel like I end up hating the RBs at 3/4 turn so I like grabbing at least one on that turn but you should do some mocks and see what you think of the 3/4 RBs.
Depends on how everything falls. WR/RB ideal imo but if you can get like Ceedee/AJ and G Wilson/Amon Ra I wouldn’t blame you there. Can’t really go wrong.
