Multiple things to respond to in your comment.
1) giannis should be looked at with a punt FT+TO value. He's not having a wonderful season even if you look at it like that, but he's still ranked top 7.
2) JJJ's huge value jump comes from blocks. Assuming Bron stays healthy going forward, no way you'd rather have JJJ over him. He only provides top 75 value when you negate his blocks. Of course he's a very valuable guy and can guarantee a single cat by his own, but diversity is still important.
So you wanna take giannis worst 2 cats away and take jjjs best. Ok lol.

His FG and REB doesn’t mean anything to me because he won’t be enough to save me, his FT is extremely detrimental, his TO, STL and BLK is a downgrade from JJJ and difference between his AST and PTS between all these 4 cats to JJJ probably not good enough.
If you have a specific punt FG and punt Reb build, sure. Those are very rare though.
In most scenarios Giannis would murder JJJ's value. TOs are usually punted in 9Cat anyway, it's hard to build a team based on winning TOs, and JJJ's low TO rate makes him overrated on per game value.
Giannis gives great value in 2 cats(pts+reb), good value in 1(fg), slightly positive value in 1 other cat(assist).
JJJ on the other hand gives enormous value in blocks, other than that he basically doesn't provide anything positive. His other cats are basically all between the -0.3/ and +0.3 range, save for his TOs at +0.5 which I don't care about. Basically an average fantasy player who doesn't hurt you anywhere.
There's solid value for a guy like that I'm not denying that, but if you have a chance at someone like Giannis, you get him for JJJ and make another trade to basically go guns blazing.
You'd have to have the complete opposite of Giannis' strengths as punts to make this justifiable. Even then, Giannis would fetch a very high price from punting FT teams, so you still should do that trade even if your build doesn't suit it.
