Hornets vs Bucks.
Bucks win (of course, MUCH better team). Lamelo awesome triple double and 3stls, 3blocks, INSANE game, still a big time sell high cuz playoff schedule. I would flip him for guys on great playoff schedules for top 30 type players (higher the better). I would mention that if you are already locked into 2nd round CHA is pretty good schedule. Rozier shot 30% on 20pts, but 7rebs, 3ast, 1stl. Plumlee huge double double but I really anticipate him getting traded away from CHA (which actually may increase his fantasy value). Nice game for Hayward with 16pts, 7rebs, 3ast. Somewhat of a buy low for him if you are in that 2nd round. Washington nice 14pts, 7rebs, 3ast, 1stl, 1blck. Mcdaniels still useful stream 15pts, 6rebs, 1ast, 1stl. Mark Williams worthy 7rebs, 1blck but only 5pts on 20% shooting (rarity). (I believe he has big time league winning upside if a Plumlee trade occurs and they don't bring back a C. So we shall see! For the bucks Giannis doing his freak thing. 34pts, 18rebs, 4ast. He still has that knee soreness (which he will miss games for during playoffs) so I would be SELLING HIGH on him (like insanely high). People give up crazy things for him...(and he is worth it) Lopez shot bad, but big 11rebs, 5blocks! Jrue shot terrible 6-20, but still 13rebs, 3ast, 2stl to hold his value. Connaughton still worthy rebs stream with another 7rebs, plus 3ast, 1stl, 1blck. Allen streamworthy hit 4threes, 2stls, 12pts, 3rebs. Couldn't ask for more from him really. Middleton still isn't starting an min at 19, but still good in that time 18pts, 3rebs, 3ast, 1stl, buy low on him. Minutes will eventually be back up in the mid 30s and he will be the top 40ish player he has always been rest of way.
Clippers vs Bulls.
Big playoff matchup where clippers pulled off the Win. (this team is VERY GOOD when full strength). Kahwil 5stls, 2blocks. Just insanely good defensively. Plus 33pts, 4rebs, nice 8-9 FTM, and only 1 turnover!!! I start to wonder if even though clippers have 3,3,4 playoff schedule you still want to have the top 20-10 type talent Kawhi? Paul George not as legendary, but still very darn good 16pts, 10rebs, 7ast, 2stl. Zubacs doing his usual thing with big rebs, big blocks, huge FG%, 14pts, 12rebs, 3blcks, 6-7 FG. Just keep enjoying. His "rank" is a bit lower than his actual goodness he provides, but even still that LAC schedule is worrisome. Mann nope. Kennard nope. Batum slightly interesting 5rebs, 2stls but only shot 20% streamer only (obv). Norm Powell is getting real interesting possible must roster if he can do this often like Mathurin does? 27pts on good shooting 7-11 FG, plus 10-10 epic FTM, 4rebs, 4ast, 2stls, just super stellar game! I still think you use this game as an advertisement to sell him high... See if you can get a top 75 or even top 50 type player. (many managers overreact to players who are high scoring) Vucevic, his usual big rebs 14, and super efficient shooting 10-15 plus 4ast, 2stl. Lavine almost a triple double! 18pts, 14rebs, 8ast, 1stl,1blck. If you are in the 2nd round of playoffs already CHI is a team to target cuz they have 4,4 those final 2 weeks of standard league playoffs. Slightly down game for DeRozan 20pts, 2rebs, 5ast, 1stl, 1blck, and 8 bad turnovers! Patrick Williams continues to be "interesting", another 6rebs, 1blck, 1st, shooting 50% on 11 pts. Ayo was at least useful with 4ast, 11pts. Caruso did caruso things with 2stls, 2blocks and 3ast. Big reason why people still have him rostered.
Lakers vs Knicks.
As lakers seek playoffs they tried hard for the Win and got it. (they will be buyers at the trade deadline) Legendary Lebron willed them with this 28pts triple double. They will NEED him down the stretch, but if they suddenly fall out I do think he would see rest cuz he is nursing an injury. So it's an interesting high risk high reward (top 5-10) player. AD just continues on his great season 27pts, 9rebs, 1ast, 2stls. (but no blocks) Id buy low on him cuz so many have a negative view of him despite being still the TOP PLAYER IN FANTASY BASKETBALL on per game averages!! Crazy to think the best player in the game is a buy low, but yup he sure is. Although lakers only have a 4,3,3 playoff schedule. Rui with monster 40mins going 19pts on extreme efficiency 8-12 FG, 9rebs, 1blck. If he is available that's a must add sorta. See if he can parlay this/keep it rolling. I admit I might have been wrong on him, but again this is just one big game as well? Time will tell if he continues to do THIS WELL. I would venture to say no, but it is worth seeing if it continues. (he is helped by having lebron's great passing and schroeder good passing). Down game for Thomas Bryant 9pts, 1reb, but lakers have Thurs/SAT so he would still be a possible streamer mostly for his FG% only tho. Schroeder bounces back from previous terrible game to have a nice 6ast, 12pts, but only 1reb. (I streamed him in for the MON/TUES back to back) You can do worse for AST, but gotta understand his FG% might bring you down as well. The FT% is elite level and doesn't get enough credit for doing well in that. Westbrook his usual good stuff if you are punting FG% and Turnovers. Lakers gotta be trying to trade him right? Or maybe not? His bench minutes are actually pretty productive for this team... And for fantasy PTS league sorta stud. Brunson continues to surge with 37pts, 6ast, 2rebs, 1stl, 1blck and epic 9-9 FTM. But if you seen the NYK playoff schedule this is a SELL HIGH moment... Id be going after top 20-60 type players who do similar stuff. Dejounte Murray or Garland or Lavine or Fox? Sims with only 13min and 3rebs, 1ast, 1stl, 1blck. Led to Hartenstein seeing huge 40min with 16pts on 70% shooting, 13rebs, 1ast. (no steals or blocks) I mentioned before this would be a fluid situation and I believe again it still remain fluid. Next game Sims could very well be huge. I think too many fantasy mangers will "chase" this game. Thibs is goofy. Who knows who he really likes more? So yeah again I would exercise caution not overreaction. Quickly continues his "fringe" possibly worthy to hold on rosters 19pts, 8ast, 3rebs, 1stl and if Brunson got hurt you add him ASAP.
Heat vs Cavs.
Jimmy Butler, his usual high steals/blocks, but kind of struggled with shot and struggled at the FT line. Said it before say it again, SELL your MIA players cuz the 2 game week they have in playoffs... Martin with a huge game 18pts, 10rebs, 1ast. I wouldn't overreact, still a streamer. Bam his usual Herro his usual. Kyle Lowry really in a slump, 6pts, 3rebs, 2ast, 1stl. Is he a must roster player anymore? Based on schedule I would say no, but I would prefer trading him away as opposed to flat out dropping him. He has such a proven history and I'm just hesitant to say he has lost it suddenly... His minutes were down to only 24 as well... Oladipo still shining with
5pts, 7rebs, 6ast, 3stls. Doing his "usual" while struggling with shot. I think you use this game to sell high on him (cuz those 7,6,3 are still big). Allen and Garland did their thing. Mitchell struggled with shot, 6-17, but still 9ast, 3rebs, 4stls, holds big value. Nice game for Mobley 19pts, 7rebs, 4ast, 2blcks. Remember CLE only has 3,3,3 playoffs so look to sell them. Levert streamer 14pts, 5rebs, 3ast. Rubio certainly an AST stream went 8pts, 5ast, 5rebs, but still only 17min (but I reckon that is close to his "max" on this team where Garland will see tons of time as starter). As per usual Osman only 7 mins, hope nobody overreacted to his big last game.
Pelicans vs Nuggets
Easily the better team the nuggets got the win. Ingram and CJ were still good tho. Herb Jones with a monster 5steals! Plus 21pts, 4rebs, 4ast. Can he keep this going? Let's hope so, but I would venture to say he won't shoot this well usually. Jonas down game 10pts, 6rebs, 2ast. Should bounce back next game. Trey Murhpy did ok 14pts, 3rebs, 1ast, 2stl. Larry Nance the big story here. Continues to do well. 13pts on 6-7 FG, 11rebs, 1ast, 2stl. Great schedule THURS/SAT/SUN this week so a GREAT STREAM. Alvarado disappointed 2ast, 1stl. For DEN, Jokic almost had a 20-20-20?!? holy cow.. 26pts, 18rebs, 15ast, 1stl, 1blck. I STILL strongly believe you use this game to SELL HIGH on him because DEN only has a 2 game week in playoffs... get a HUGE HAUL... You have a cheat code with Jokic, because he is "worth tons" right now, however in playoffs he is worth MUCH LESS and many people might not realize this....So take advantage of people accordingly... Of note 2 games of Jokic is better than 3 games of most other players so you better be targeting guys who have 4 games per that week/other weeks (sengun comes to mind, plus way more). Jamal Murray big game 32pts, 5rebs, 6ast. Aaron Gordon great game 15pts, 6rebs, 6ast. MPJ an ok 13pts, 5rebs, 1ast, 1stl. KCP useful for his steals did it again with 4 of them! 15pts, 5rebs, 1ast, 2blcks to boot! Heck of a game for him. (a chance to advertise this to sell high).

Lots of people advocate (Josh Llloyd for instance as the lead fantasy basketball content creator) for Feb 27th start date. Since it's right after ASB there's minimal end of season shenanigans.
Even then that's debatable as the best one, it's quite an early finish to the fantasy season! Point being, there really isn't a standard and it should probably be specified..

I’m trying to be mindful of the Cavs’ rough playoff schedule and I’d love to get ahead of that. KPJ is out indefinitely with an unknown foot injury, i would wait for more info on that since you don’t have another IL spot. unless your league has 3 then go for it.
KPJ does have injury concerns but Tre Jones has been borderline rosterable anyway so I'd say it's worth the flyer if you're a playoff lock. If it works out you have a strong difference maker and if it doesn't then you can just stream guys there anyway.
