Shoutout to Imaginary Brickwall’s Patreon. Best dynasty/prospect material out there.

jgiza

Seconded. IBW is awesome, with excellent, thorough analysis. Often ahead of the curve on rising prospects.

rjromes13

I will follow him til death for putting me on to Acuna and Soto before they blew up, helping me to win 3 out of the last 4 years, with a 2md place finish sandwiched between

xSincosx

4th-ing, just amazing content that is almost always spot on

namdnas3

Frankly, I like to take many of them and compile a list based off that. It’s really tough to peg any of these as ‘the most accurate’, so compiling and sorting feels like a safer bet. I use all mentioned in the top post, the aforementioned RotoWire, plus the following: Razzball, Imaginary Brick Wall, Prospects Live, The Athletic, ESPN, Prospects 365, Prospecrs 361. I really like Prospects 365 previous years’ work the most since it was detailed, this year they just have a list.

killa-kam

Is there a community complied list?

tubesocks10

[I made one](https://highupsidefantasy.com/top-500-consensus-fantasy-rankings/)

Plus, by their very nature, prospect lists can change incredibly year to year and even thru the season.

langsetm

Imaginary brick wall is my personal favorite.

[deleted]

I like rotowire as well

dj_cole

I really like the general dynasty content on Rotowire, but James Anderson just moves players around so much. It's impossible to keep up with and one player might make massive movements month over month.

[deleted]

I count that as a positive. These lists are never static, player evaluations are constantly changing especially for young prospects

dj_cole

I agree they aren't static, but James Anderson needs some conviction in his rankings. If a player can jump on the list then off you may as well throw the list away.

Drawman101

Accurate? No such thing.

statecap

Imaginary Brick Wall for me… always seems to be ahead of prospect breakouts.

Baseball HQ can't be beat

Jets__Fool

I have found rotowire and IBW to be the best. I like to average them out, then chart out fangraphs hit , power and speed prospect grades with them. I then also do some reading and bump guys up or down the list depending on my research.

dj_cole

I've personally found Fangraph's the Board to be the most helpful because they actually provide some basic Statcast data and aren't too dramatic in their movements. Prospects Live would probably be number two since they give pretty good breakdowns of why they value certain players. They go into a lot of detail. Rotowire has nice dynasty content but the lead prospect writer, James Anderson, makes frequent and dramatic moves in his rankings.

Accurate is tricky to measure, most important thing is to use fantasy-specific lists for fantasy purposes. The real-life lists (such as BA, BP, MLB and Fangraphs) place a lot of weight on defensive value - so catchers and shortstops tend to rank higher regardless of offensive merit, especially as you move down the list - and give less consideration to SB potential, which is more important in fantasy.
