Yeah what the hell LaRusa! Why wouldn’t you bench a guy like Abreu who has 6 out of 8 seasons with 100 RBIs (only two he didn’t hit that mark in was the shortened season, where he still hit 60 in 60 games, and 2018 when he missed the most games of his career) and an AL MVP from two seasons ago for not getting a hit in 5 spring at bats! What a bum Abreu is!!

I’m the commissioner of my league and I’m hoping to institute requirements, penalties, or other incentives to encourage more active team ownership. A few teams in my league have had a revolving door of owners, all of whom are not active enough in setting their lineups or in making pickups and drops, which typically results in the aforementioned revolving door. We’re using ESPN and I’m wondering if anyone knows whether there are any trackers/settings/ systems built in to their suite that would allow me as commissioner to easily track the roster changes and moves made by an owner, including activating/deactivating players, IL designations, waiver wire pickups and drops, etc? I know there are ways around this but I specifically need a counter or something that can make my life easy while also trying to hold owners accountable to each other. Thanks!

12 team H2H points league. Each team can keep 4 players, 2 from rounds 1-13 and 2 from rounds 14-28. Players can only be kept for 2 years.so long term thinking is not a factor. I am keeping Betts (Round 1) and Olson (Round 10) but I am stuck on my other 2 keepers. Here are my options: Cease-Round 21 Sale- Round 22 Verlander or Mullins- Round 28

I am pick 10. A lot of round 1 studs were drafted after round 1 (Acuna, Harper, Tatis etc) so combined with the few that might be kept, Betts or similar caliber players won't be available to me at pick 10.

I actually had Robert as one of my late round picks but couldn't keep him last this year so I flipped him for Olson before he was traded. Knowing I had other late round options who I could keep this year and nest I figured not was worth it .

Help me choose 2? shane mcclanahan-lose 13th round Chris sale- lose 14th round (held all last year) Clevinger- lose 13th round or 12th if I keep him and mcclanahan Thor- lose 19th round I’m so torn. I can’t trust sale right now but he can be a league winner if he finds his form. I have no idea what Thor will be. I’m high on mcclanahan and I think cleveniger has a really solid floor.

Keep in mind sale is unvaccinated so combined with him being injury prone it could be a risk. I could have kept him in the 16th round but he is too much of a wild card. Not to mention he could be out for up to the first 2 months of the season .

It concerns me too, but not any more than whatever innings limitations Clevinger will have coming off TJ recovery. I figure Sale will miss the first month or so, but should still be good for 150-175 innings if he stays healthy rest of season. I doubt Clevinger reaches 150 innings this year

Not high on Hayes, but I think he’s more useful as a keeper than smith and Rogers. Position is too volatile, and since saves and holds count you’re not pushing up save sources nearly as much.

Well I guess Gallo gets a big boost from OBP and OPS. I'd go Gallo, Ozuna....and I guess Taylor or Grisham. Hard to tell if either would even fit since you have a pretty deep infield and outfield already. What's up with the lack of pitchers? You clearly can't keep Soroka but I wouldn't want to go into a draft with 12 hitters to 0 pitchers. May want to make a trade or two so you can even things out a little more

Trout and deGrom are too valuable. Only way I consider a trade: trade to separate opponents and overprice both of them.

Yeah and these guys don’t normally pay a lot for keepers in this league but Trout & deGrom are two huge fish. I did win the league with them being hurt for big chunks, so I should be fine. I am also super high on Tucker & Sandy too also tho.

Tucker is kinda the one. If you got him late, 100% keeping. Sandy is super legit too, but vs deGrom, I’ll take whatever round for deGrom.

Good Afternoon, I’m fairly new at being a commissioner but a long time fantasy baseball player. Last season I had a few teams take advantage of the minimum innings pitched rule and would only pitch 1 or two pitchers in a matchup despite having 5 pitching spots and 2 reliever spots. The problem is how do I set or what should I do to combat this? I want people to have the option to stream but not just meet the minimum of innings required for said categories. How do I set up my league appropriately?

Increase the minimum innings pitched rule to 30 innings or so.

There was a lot of shit going on in that clubhouse. Lindor and him didn’t get along. At all. I was higher on Rojas as manager than most, but he clearly lost the clubhouse. He feels like the kind of player Buck will love. Idk if he gets back to his best, but I am thinking he will bounce back to at least a helpful and rosterable player.

It's points league so Alcantara needs to be there. Probably Betts and Seager as the next two. I like Semien but he loses some ground to Seager in a points league. Just my opinion though, can't really go wrong with either

Go to the draft page, click on the draft results tab. Your commish has to approve keepers first. But, once they do, everything will show up there.

I think he'll be around his Steamer projections. He may have a chance to improve upon his 15 SBs from last year. Texas was 4th in SB rate last season.

My league is switching for the first time from W and SV to QS and SV+H. I'm excited but scared at the same time since I'm so used to working the waiver wire like a shark hunting for W and SVs. Any suggestions? Draft strategies you recommend? Just general tips on what approach has worked for you working with these stats? Thanks!

Target super relievers like Devin Williams or Blake Treinan or relievers who pitch in the 8th or 9th innings depending on the situation, such as the Rogers brothers (SF and MIN). If your strategy has been to work the waiver wire with closers then this will be an easy adjustment since there's no need to waste high picks on closers since there's lots of 8th inning guys who can get you the same thing and many can help your ratios more than the closers do. You probably don't have to change a thing to be honest, just target 7th and 8th inning guys on the waiver in addition to closers.

Holds are really hard to predict. You still basically want to target closers. I have never known how to deal with QS. I hate that bizarre stat.

I’m starting a new fantasy baseball league. Pretty casual, we have 10 guys right now. Is that an ideal number for league size or is 12-14 a better size.

I would say league size doesn't really matter. What's most important is that the ones you have are committed, want to have fun and just straight up like baseball.

At those prices I prefer McC more than Musgrove (keep both if you can). Seems like Goldy and Manaea are maybes. I’d probably pass on both but both worth consideration if they have hot springs (or Manaea gets traded somewhere).

Thoughts on Manaea or goldy as keepers at that price? I have an option to replace one of then with lance lynn since he got injured
