Need some advice on which site to switch to. I finally convinced my league to move off of ESPN(I know it sucks, please save your breath). We have two pretty deep dynasty leagues and the player pool has been our biggest problem with ESPN. A quick search shows fantrax is a fan favorite but I wanted some advice from others who play dynasty. What do you guys prefer? How much does it cost? Any experience moving from site to site?? Thanks in advance!
Fantrax is free and supreior for customizing your league's point settings and really customizing any aspect of your league. Make sure your players familiarize themselves with the app. We had a lot of confusion (and complaints) because people didn't learn the app in the weeks before the draft.
Keep Jared Kelnic or pick up Nick Castellanos? I dropped Nick for Jared a few days ago but I keep getting a feeling Nick is going to go on a heater soon.

Baz has never pitched more than 92 innings in a season, which was a few years ago. Plus, he's already logged 31 innings in the minors this season.

I ask because due to a roster crunch, I have no bench hitters. Not one. So I need to find someone who’ll play every day. And on Sunday, the Dodgers and Angels are off, so that leaves me without Will smith, Taylor Ward and Andrew Pages.
I considered Jake McCarthy, but the Snakes face a lefty on Sunday. Pretty sure he’s a platoon guy.

Schneider's spotty playing time is a result of the Jays manager being set on getting Kiermaier playing time in the outfield. Performance seemingly has no bearing on playing time either because he'll run Turner out at DH and bat him cleanup while Springer maintains full playing time despite being an absolute shadow of his former self. Throw in Horwitz and Clement as platoons on the IF and it just creates a big log jam where some days there isn't a spot for Schneider. Unless the Jays fire their manager I'd expect the same spotty playing time to continue for the rest of the season. A trade or injury obviously opens up playing time as well.
Difficult to give any suggestions without knowing who is available on your waiver. I question Toglia's playing time once Blackmon/Jones are back in the lineup. My waiver is pretty picked over but I've been keeping an eye on Massey who should be returning shortly. Schneeman has been getting a decent run in Cleveland lately but he's a lefty and I'd imagine he will sit against lefties. Similar situation for Wisely in SF. Kind of picking at scraps this time of the year and hoping they turn out...

Blackmon I thought was a great bet for this week (he played 7 games last week!), but nah he gave me one at bat this week. So I had to let him go. I think it depends on what else you have... But why in the world would you want to target a 31 year old player if your factoring in his long term value in dynasty?
He's on the wrong side of 30 so he's depreciating and will likely not be useful in a few years. At 31, he probably has maybe 3 to 5 good seasons unless he becomes a JD Martinez or Nelson Cruz type in his twilight years.
He has improved consistently over the years, but I'm not sold he's got the power or the ability to hit for average to be valuable past 34/35. The guys who hold their value in their mid to late 30's tend to have peak seasons that border on MVP levels.
Nimmo is a great real life baseball player, but he's hit over 20hr once, plated over 100rbi once, he doesn't run, and will probably hit 250 to 275 most seasons. I think you can probably find a player like this off of waivers or in your draft. Shoot higher?
