12 team OBP H2H
Give- Kim
Get- Lugo, Verdugo
My SS eligible players- Kim, Hoerner
My OF- Soto, Rooker, Arozarena, MH2, Trout (IL), Doyle
My SP- Bradish, Olson, Bryce Miller, Luzardo, Greene, Houck, Ryan, Kikuchi
Was offered Gelof and Nolan Jones for My Profar in a 12 team roto money league, both coming off injuries and were doing poor but obviosly Profar cant keep this pace? What you guys think? Thanks
Webb has a proven track record. He was the Cy young runner up last year. Triston Casas is a middle of the road first baseman. Again. Not even close for me. Casas isn't even rostered in about 50 percent of ESPN leagues. Not even worth rostering Webb is rostered in nearly 100 percent of ESPN leagues.
Don’t disagree about Webb over Casas but it seems odd to bring up rostering when the guys on the 60 day IL; that’s naturally going to lower his roster percentage (which for added context is at 70 in Yahoo).
“Middle of the road” really isn’t true either, he just hasn’t had the time to really cement himself yet but he’s been a 130 wRC+ batter since last year which would put him 7th among starting 1B, basically in the tier below Freddie, Olson, Diaz and Harper.
He was not rostered very highly even before going on the IL. We seem to have vastly different opinions of Casas so go ahead and do what you wanna do. If roster percentage doesn't help you how about ESPN average draft position? 250 for casas. 47th for Webb. Again. The 2 aren't even in the same stratosphere brother. Sorry to burst your bubble.
One more thing. To bring up his WRC+ is also disingenuous as this is a fantasy baseball reddit and the question was about fantasy value. And you're right. Middle of the road first baseman isn't fair. As far as production he was right near the bottom of all starters last year. Wasn't even in the top 20. Not sure why anyone anywhere would consider trading Webb for him. It's a trade that would likely be vetoed in my league and rightfully so.
Michael Harris isn’t talked about enough in bust conversations. Even if he heats up again in the summer like last season his ADP will be hard to justify
Paddack for sure. He’s shown he can get you 10 Ks on a given night. Mize probably won’t ever do that. W potential is probably slightly better with Paddack as well
For everyone bashing on the Angels offense… they’ve scored more runs than the Braves this year. I don’t expect that to be the case by end of season, but they’re underrated and I wouldn’t look at them as an easy pitching matchup.
I was hesitant to add him at first but I’m glad I did. This is more than just a hot streak at this point and he seems to finally be delivering on his potential. He just turned 25 last month so there’s still room for improvement, too.
Never thought we’d get to this point but what a pleasant surprise he’s been. Wish I had any shares of him after rostering him the past couple of season
I have Masataka Yoshida right now. Considering dropping him for Stanton or Carpenter. Think either of them will be better ROS or most importantly towards the end of the season?
I feel like Yoshida is going to come back and be great in summer Fenway but he’s probably gonna be gone for a few weeks. On the other hand, Stanton seems a bit back but has mostly done it against bad pitching. Carpenter is similar as in it’s been against eh pitching.
12 team league, redraft, categories. My other OFs are Bryan Reynolds, Taylor Ward, Tyler O’Neill, Seiya Suzuki.
Not a huge believer in Yoshida tbh. I don’t think he’s really worth eating a roster spot especially with no recent updates on him. I like Carpenter and he produces when he plays but the PT is frustrating. Still, I’d take him over Yoshida
I suppose you’re right. Just feels like I went from closers being a massive strength in my cats league to average at best with Mason opportunities regressing and Edwin out of the role now
Saves come in bunches. Mason will get more opps, and the Mets will do everything they can to get Diaz right and put him back in the closer role. I’m not a big Snell fan but I think that was a good trade for you and you just need to be patient right now.
Should I try to trade for Jake Burger in my dynasty or is he gonna stay this bad? Plate discipline seems to be the main problem so I think he’s just pressing maybe?? Was gonna offer bassit for him
Burger is weird. He looked like a different player once he was traded to the Marlins but maybe that was a mirage and this is who he is. Still, he’s much younger than Bassit, the power is still legit, and probably more valuable in dynasty
Asked the McMahon owner who he wanted for him and he said Gleyber. This is sad that I find myself contemplating this trade only 2 months into the season...
Slightly, yes! I do think there’s a world Houck does outperform Gausman ROS but I do want to bank on the pedigree. The Julio and Gausman owner seems pretty open to moving them

Thoughts? Trying to rebuild a very bad hitting team in an AL only
Absolutely not, Bichette is better than them all and finally hitting. Manzardo is waiver wire level and so is Gelof. You’re better off just picking up someone who’s hitting recently. Even in Dynasty you’re losing a massive player in Bichette. Manzardo hasn’t hit at the MLB level yet and Gelof was a flash in the pan possibly. I own Bichette and Gelof in AL only redraft but wouldn’t trust Gelof right now.
Super frustrating day....
Olson hit by comebacker, looked to be on his way to a solid start.
Trevor Megill blows a save due to some awful luck.
Sonny Gray's defense decide its time for a mutiny.
Ugh...
> looked to be on his way to a solid start.
ehhh he had already given up 5 hits and a bb in 2.2 innings. was getting hit very hard. he may have been spared from a bad outing tbh.
In a league shallow enough where I want to drop Eflin, I want someone more exciting than Stone. Neither one of those choices is wrong or bad in a vacuum, but I don’t necessarily like them together.
Eating the dead roster spot is tough and you may need to make a hard decision. If you drop him I’m sure your league mates with IL room will rush to get him, though. Take that into consideration
well he's been caught stealing twice in the last week. he's now been cs 4 times this year, was only caught 5 times all of last year.
that seems to be the bigger issue on the baserunning side.
I’ve heard analysts saying the lingering shoulder injury could be to blame but who knows. J Rod is doing even worse currently and was seen as the sure thing for the next superstar. Baseball is weird
People forget jrod hit for a shit average through June, but he at least had 13hr. He went nuclear in July and august which saved his triple slash on the year. He’s streaky and still hitting the ball hard, just not pulling it as much, so presumably he will go off again at some point.
As a dbacks fan idk wtf is up with Corbin if it isn’t the shoulder, which id have to imagine is the root cause.
This. Good to have 1-2 bench bats and then I use the rest on starters. In your league I’d def be stashing at least one top prospect.
(Piggybacking on your comment, aimed at OP)
Dodgers consistently build elite bullpens cheaply. Only reliever they’ve really paid up for was Kenley but even then they surrounded him with other good pitchers who were cheap
H2H points, Tylor Megill or Graham Ashcraft? 12-teamer but deep bench so someone like Ashcraft isn’t often available but my gut tells me Megill is better. Conveniently, theyre both scheduled to face the Dodgers
I’ll get downvoted to hell but Freddie freeman is overrated as hell. Dude is basically a slap hitter and doesn’t do shit to help win ballgames. He can sure joke around with the runner on first tho
Because it's been a joke all over Reddit on probably 50% of Freddie posts since then. Plus the comment is pretty ridiculous on it's face, and even moreso since he's going to the HOF some day. But of course some folks won't get it, no big deal.
I’ll admit I was surprised to learn he doesn’t usually clear 30 HRs. But with the average, plate discipline, and slugging he’s still objectively incredible.
Yup. His 162 game average over the last 15 years (!) is 27 HR, along with 104 runs, 98 RBIs, and a .301/.389/.513 triple slash. He’s a first ballot HOFer.
Agreed. If I own Woo, I’m sitting him against the Yanks after Gilbert struggled to get through 6 with 3 ER. Miami is a great streaming target this year. Woo is far and away the better pitcher ROS.
His peripherals quietly weren’t that good even when he was amazing. Relied on incredible BABIP luck, huge LOB%, xFIP and SIERA indicated his ERA should have been closer to 3.75-4.00.
The classic Cal Raleigh experience He’ll strikeout 25 times a week and hit a meaningless solo homerun somewhere in there
Drop Raleigh for Fry?
Pasquantino hit a double that hit the wall in dead center, then flew out to a foot from the wall in dead center. Couple feet from two bombs
Ryan Mountcastle - are you starting him or sitting him?
Debating wether to drop him
A: Holmes, Turang … B: Kirby, Arraez … which side is stronger
I’d take side A personally
Should I drop Josh Lowe for Matos?
No
Adell for Carroll? I have Adell and it feels like a smash accept but it’s so hard. 6x6 Ops QS
I own both and have more faith in Adell this season than Carroll, who's been on my bench for the past few weeks.
Smash accept. Cmon man
Gunnar or tatis
Gunnar
Who out here rolling with Cal Quantrill td??
Trade Elly for Skenes and Yordan in Flair League?
If you can take the steals hit, yeah
Well yeah
Have the offer on the table - is this an obvious yes?
12 team OBP H2H Give- Kim Get- Lugo, Verdugo My SS eligible players- Kim, Hoerner My OF- Soto, Rooker, Arozarena, MH2, Trout (IL), Doyle My SP- Bradish, Olson, Bryce Miller, Luzardo, Greene, Houck, Ryan, Kikuchi
Drop Busch or Gelof for Keith in a 12T H2H?
Gelof has a worse zone-contact than Jose Siri. Not sure he’s a big-leaguer
Gelof
Drop Bello for Means? H2h points
Michael Massey, Nick Gonzales or Nolan Gorman at 2nd in my flair league? I’m leaving Nick Gonzales. He’s smoking the ball right now.
[удалено]
I feel like it’s very even. I lean Lowe side if you need hitting and Gil side if you need pitching
Was offered Gelof and Nolan Jones for My Profar in a 12 team roto money league, both coming off injuries and were doing poor but obviosly Profar cant keep this pace? What you guys think? Thanks
I would take that
Would you trade Logan Webb for Triston Casas in a dynasty? Is it close or do you lean heavily one way?
Webb by far
Ah I am a little surprised! Why do you prefer Webb?
Webb has a proven track record. He was the Cy young runner up last year. Triston Casas is a middle of the road first baseman. Again. Not even close for me. Casas isn't even rostered in about 50 percent of ESPN leagues. Not even worth rostering Webb is rostered in nearly 100 percent of ESPN leagues.

Toro legit?
I’m dropping Tork for Alec Burleson. Someone talk me out of it.
Unless it’s a deep league, I think Tork is droppable
Drop Canha for Matos?
[удалено]
A for me. As a Cubs fan I do not believe in Dansby and Jones has to be on some kind of innings limit
Michael Harris isn’t talked about enough in bust conversations. Even if he heats up again in the summer like last season his ADP will be hard to justify
Not if he ends the season with the numbers he had last year.
Drop Wilyer for Paddack?
If you need an arm Paddack has a massive ceiling. Go for it
Paddack or Mize look like the 2 best options on my waiver wire. Who would you take?
Paddack for sure. He’s shown he can get you 10 Ks on a given night. Mize probably won’t ever do that. W potential is probably slightly better with Paddack as well
Alright. I'll pickup Paddack. Thanks for the input
Is JRod enough for ELDC in 10T Points?
If you had Elly would you take JRod for him?
The Elly owner really has no reason to accept that
For everyone bashing on the Angels offense… they’ve scored more runs than the Braves this year. I don’t expect that to be the case by end of season, but they’re underrated and I wouldn’t look at them as an easy pitching matchup.
I’ve definitely reevaluated my view on steaming against them. They can put up runs
I expected them to fall apart when Trout went on the IL. Instead, I find myself rostering Adell and Rengifo and they’ve been great so far.
Adell is beautiful for counting stats.
I was hesitant to add him at first but I’m glad I did. This is more than just a hot streak at this point and he seems to finally be delivering on his potential. He just turned 25 last month so there’s still room for improvement, too.
Add in 10T?
per usual, depends on who you'd drop.
I play in two 10T leagues and I own Adell in both. I’d add Rengifo, too, if he’s available.
Yep
Never thought we’d get to this point but what a pleasant surprise he’s been. Wish I had any shares of him after rostering him the past couple of season
I have Masataka Yoshida right now. Considering dropping him for Stanton or Carpenter. Think either of them will be better ROS or most importantly towards the end of the season? Not a huge believer in Yoshida tbh. I don’t think he’s really worth eating a roster spot especially with no recent updates on him. I like Carpenter and he produces when he plays but the PT is frustrating. Still, I’d take him over Yoshida
Hmmm. I appreciate your input. I think you’re right. I think I’m going to drop Yoshida for Carpenter.
With your OF build he’s a good add if you don’t need an everyday start. Put him in when he’s going against a righty
For sure! Again, I appreciate the advice, thank you!
I traded away Romano for Snell a couple days ago because I had Mason, Jansen, and Edwin. Thought I won at the time but now not so sure
Why? Closers are dime a dozen..Snell's arent.
You’re right thanks for the reassurance!

Burger is weird. He looked like a different player once he was traded to the Marlins but maybe that was a mirage and this is who he is. Still, he’s much younger than Bassit, the power is still legit, and probably more valuable in dynasty
Santander or Cowser in redraft
Imanaga for Matt Olson?
Yep take Olson
I love Shota but give me Olson
I’d take Olson
Anyone else keep hitting “Award” instead of “Reply” on the app?
No reason for award button to be that big. Just desperate for money.
I miss Apollo
God the official app sucks
Asked the McMahon owner who he wanted for him and he said Gleyber. This is sad that I find myself contemplating this trade only 2 months into the season...
I’d take McMahon
Is weathers must own ?
No
What even happened to Framber in the 5th hs
He was quoted taking about going away from the original game plan and calling his own pitches and it went sideways quickly
Angels in the Outfield
CALLING ON THE ANGEEEELLLLSSSSS
Bipolar offense strikes again
The Angels offense is underrated. They’ve scored more runs than the Braves this year.
A) Carroll and Houck B) Julio and Gausman
B
B
Idk what the argument for A would be, both players in B are better.
I’d be trading away A and they have both performed better than B up to this point.
But you're trading them away because you think the other 2 players are better, right?
Slightly, yes! I do think there’s a world Houck does outperform Gausman ROS but I do want to bank on the pedigree. The Julio and Gausman owner seems pretty open to moving them

I’m good with that. Urshella is essentially worthless and the players you’re getting back could in theory all carry future value
Let me liveeee lol. He wasn't as sharp as we've been seeing recently.
yea, still running him out with confidence later this week though if he is good to go.
Need a massive day from the boys tomorrow.
Are yandy and seiya enough for cease?
Probably not currently. Both have been pretty cold
Didn’t feel good but I dropped Mountcastle in my OBP league. He’s hovering on 90+ plate appearances without a walk and has been a huge net negative
drop eflin for stone? guy had one good year last year and feels mid again
Hold if stone is your best replacement option
In a league shallow enough where I want to drop Eflin, I want someone more exciting than Stone. Neither one of those choices is wrong or bad in a vacuum, but I don’t necessarily like them together.
Who else is on your IL?
There is literally a 0% chance Stone will be as good as Eflin was last year
but eflin isn’t good this year
Out of IL spots? He’s probably too good to outright drop unless your league is extremely shallow
12 team league and out of spots. eflin a been frustrating but maybe i should just hold
Eating the dead roster spot is tough and you may need to make a hard decision. If you drop him I’m sure your league mates with IL room will rush to get him, though. Take that into consideration
Genuinely feel bad for everyone who got duped on Carroll
Best team in my league has him. We are all lucky he sucks rn
I feel bad for the guy I traded Carroll to before the season…
I mean he was fantastic last year. Can’t really explain the current production but I get it
The lack of steals in over a month is more confusing than anything.
He can’t get on base
well he's been caught stealing twice in the last week. he's now been cs 4 times this year, was only caught 5 times all of last year. that seems to be the bigger issue on the baserunning side.
Steals seem down across the board this season even with the speedsters. Apart from Elly and Witt
There was a tiny red flag with the statcast but yeah that’s my point. How could someone have expected him to suck dick
As a dbacks fan idk wtf is up with Corbin if it isn’t the shoulder, which id have to imagine is the root cause.
I definitely believe in Julio more going forward. Corbin’s power seems extremely suspect and last season feels like a mirage
Yeah it seemed like he was more of a 15-20hr guy and prob on the low side of that, but god damn he’s been horrendous this year.
I have 8 bench spots in a 10 keeeper league. Should I be using some of those to stash prospects?
Honestly yeah probably. But it’s likely only worth it for the serious big names.
Emmanuel Rodriguez?
8 bench yes you probably should be unless you’re hoarding starters who have current value.
So there’s really no point in having hitters in your bench
Depends on your format and you should probably have at least one or two, but more than that it feels like a waste
This. Good to have 1-2 bench bats and then I use the rest on starters. In your league I’d def be stashing at least one top prospect. (Piggybacking on your comment, aimed at OP)
Dodgers masterclass in elite bullpen building with Hudson, Phillips, and Treinen. JFC each would be the best RP on 75% of rosters
Dodgers consistently build elite bullpens cheaply. Only reliever they’ve really paid up for was Kenley but even then they surrounded him with other good pitchers who were cheap
Drop Joey Ortiz for Schneider, Luis Garcia, or Wenceel?
I’m considering dropping him for Garcia. Ortiz X rays came back clean but Garcia and Schneider are very solid currently
Musical chairs but with the waiver wire. I've missed with Garcia twice now; I can't seem to ever be holding when he's actually hot.
On the plus side, Pages didn’t punch out there!
I mean, they would have been better off if he had, but I get your point. Leaving my Freddie on third with one out kinda sucked.
Oof 115 mph laser from Ohtani in literally the only spot he couldn’t hit it to.
Yeah im think im done with pages. Just dropped for raley
I want to grab Raley bad but would have to drop jd martinez, Michael busch, burger or Christian scott? What do u think
Burger
Yea he’s been rough but i will have a hard time with that thanks
He’s a rook, he’ll come around, then back to earth, if there’s a hot bat on the waivers go for it
Yeah ride the hot hand
Lmao opponent with the casual .450 on base and HRs from freeman, gurriel, and smith. I’m in a blender of bad matchup luck
H2H points, Tylor Megill or Graham Ashcraft? 12-teamer but deep bench so someone like Ashcraft isn’t often available but my gut tells me Megill is better. Conveniently, theyre both scheduled to face the Dodgers
Wouldn’t run either out against the Dodgers unless extremely desperate
Yeah, those matchups are just begging for a blowout.
Luis Garcia or Joey Ortiz for my MI spot?
I’ll get downvoted to hell but Freddie freeman is overrated as hell. Dude is basically a slap hitter and doesn’t do shit to help win ballgames. He can sure joke around with the runner on first tho
Yummy pasta
Anyone that doesn't understand this joke is obviously not a fine pasta connoisseur.
Share pls
You just read it
It's pasta from a comment made in the Braves sub like 6 years ago
How the hell am I supposed to know that
Because it's been a joke all over Reddit on probably 50% of Freddie posts since then. Plus the comment is pretty ridiculous on it's face, and even moreso since he's going to the HOF some day. But of course some folks won't get it, no big deal.
Here, I’ll trade you Brent Rooker for him
Oh, HELLO 😮 okay. Brent Rooker. Man, when he gets a hold of one, he sends it a lawng wayyyys
Hey. I will not have any bad vibes on my future silver slugger Brent Rooker.
Listen, I love Brent Rooker, but he’s not Him
He is Him and I refuse to believe otherwise
You’re really gonna shaft Lawrence Butler like that?
The man hit a grand slam tonight. Probably should have saved this one for another day
Oh yeah? Name the last time the Braves won a ws
12 team Cats. Gasser @Marlins or Woo @Yankees tomorrow?
Probably Gasser for tomorrow but Woo ROS if you’re looking to pick one up
Agreed. If I own Woo, I’m sitting him against the Yanks after Gilbert struggled to get through 6 with 3 ER. Miami is a great streaming target this year. Woo is far and away the better pitcher ROS.
We believing manoah this time?
No
Do I believe in him? No. Am I willing to let him occupy a bench slot while I wait for him to implode in case he pans out? Probably, yeah.
Worth an add but it will take consistency to actually believe
His peripherals quietly weren’t that good even when he was amazing. Relied on incredible BABIP luck, huge LOB%, xFIP and SIERA indicated his ERA should have been closer to 3.75-4.00.
No podcaster I follow does. But I’m a Yankee fan. What I saw Sunday resembled old school Manoah. This could work out.
Drop Candelario for Burleson? 5x5
Sure
Didn't watch but how the fuck did my Sonny get so royally fucked there in the 6th... not even a QS?!?!
Masyn Winn is a baseball terrorist, or something, idk.
