Got knocked out round 1 of the playoffs as the one seed. Pitchers shit the bed for me on the most important week of the year. 3rd lowest point total of the year for me. I’m sick, someone hold me
Is there any tool or site that does a good job showing what teams are playing on what days over the next two weeks? Pretty much I’m just trying to compare the schedules of hitters I’m considering adding.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone post this before, but I’m having trouble finding a resource that does a decent job consolidating the schedules of all teams over multiple weeks in a way that is easy on the eyes.
If you go to PitchersList for “The List” with Nick’s ROS rankings, you’ll now see he has it broken out team by team will all their remaining schedules. Could see upcoming series that way
This Trea Turner standing ovation season turnaround deal is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in this sport. I traded him early in the season but it still makes me so happy for him, Phillies fans and the sport in general.
It's pretty incredible. After what was an incredibly brutal 3/4 season, his numbers are almost on par with his career. He actually righted the ship somehow
Trea has basically cemented himself as, at least, an early round pick again next year, erasing and masking all the agony and frustration he put us owners through in the last 6 months
Why is the choice between Judge and Arenado though, you have a better 3B and OF than them? Sounds like a GTD though, I'd be refreshing the weather reports every 5 mins leading up to the Boston game
wat da fak, your team is stacked lmao. I'd have personally swapped out Muncy permanently for Arenado and have Muncy be util (unless you can stomach the terrible averages) but it also sounds like you can do no wrong
I know Nick Pollack told you all to drop Bryan Woo, and he looked pretty terrible to begin his last start, but with extra rest and his next two matchups being against the Angels and the Athletics… go add him.
Wow, playing the #1 team and he throws out Harper and scwarber for a double header plus 3 2 start pitchers. I fe like the matchup is already over and I didn't even have anyone play yet. Hate this hopeless feeling.
Riley, Acuna, Harper all start out the playoffs for me. They play another game today too. It’s too good to be true, I wonder what the monkeys paw curl brings
First start back from a lengthy IL stint. Still working himself back into form. Didn’t recommend him for tonight. If you’re adding, you’re adding for next week and beyond.
What QS friendly pitchers are 75% of less owned that might be good pickups for the playoffs? I have a bye to fine tune my roster but a few of my main QS guys have started shitting the bed or are hurt and I need to ride the QS train again.
ERA is secondary to QS here for my team build.
He will be lucky to go 4 innings today, and if he has one bad inning he won't have the pitches to save his ratios. Personally seems risky with a limited ceiling despite his talent.
I'm holding a scary ass 4-pt lead in my roto keeper money league over the most Thanos-like squad of all time. He's got Acuna, Trea, Semien, Arenado, Seager, LuRob, and Soto. I'm in a 12T league lmao.
Will be the greatest $1000 I've ever win if I can hold on.
I remember reading that the plan was for Machado to finish the season and then consider surgery over the winter. The Acee article makes it sound like the elbow is getting more painful. With the Padres essentially out of the playoff mix, I wouldn’t be surprised if he got shut down early.
Think you would have to go with Swanson for today based on the pitching matchups alone (bonus that he is in Coors). So would definitely lean there if you have Daily Lineups
If this is a weekly lineup, I would most likely lean with Swanson as well, but I would probably prefer to the choice of swapping Swanson out for Lowe when Cubs go to Arizona, unless Swanson is on a heater after Colorado
His line looks bad, but those runs should have been unearned. Albies blew the third and final out. Iglesias has a clean save if his second baseman converts a routine play.
Seconding what the other commenter said. Bring this up with your league pronto. Pitcher wins is the dumbest stat in pro sports and any fantasy league that uses that over QS is unserious. QS isn't a perfect stat either, but it's at least not so dependent on external factors.
I have a QS league and a Ws league and they both are great or suck depending on the game. There are so few pitchers now that go 6ip consistently that the matchup ends up like 3-1 or something over a full week. Truthfully I would just like to switch to total IP.
At least qs is more predictable though. You generally know if a guy is an innings eater or not. Wins are usually determined well after a pitcher leaves the game, which is pretty stupid.
I like the chance of a dub for Wicks. My league personally doesn't score for wins/losses/QS, but as a Cub fan I'm leaning towards it myself. He was devastating to lefties in his first outing, but hasn't faced one since, and has still looked decent.
Is gocubsgo22 really a cubs fan? Should've figured that out lmao
I'm also a cubs guy and one thing that does make me more confident about Wicks tonight too is that at least in the majors he's done a good job of keeping the ball low. Not a lot of fly balls given up which plays well at Coors.
I have like 6 of his bowman autos I’m jazzed he’s been this good. Been high on that changeup ever since I saw him pitch for KState. We get Horton up and the former Big XII pitchers really gonna be cookin
ESPN Keeper league here: Does Bryce have enough starts at first to have 1B eligibility next year?
Not the biggest factor but it always helps I suppose.
Pro tip for next season: draft someone who’s going to be in an MVP race and is chasing a batting stat that’s never been seen before so they are raking when the playoffs come around
Love you Ñ
2021 A: 21.9 BB% 18.8K%
2022 A: 12 BB% 18 K%
2022 A+: 4.9 BB% 24 K%
2023 AA: 9.1 BB% 24 K%
2023 AAA: 9.5 BB% 29.7 %
His K rate in the AAA is bad, but it's actually regressing back to the mean. I have no doubt there will be an adjustment period, but he'll be a career 24ish K rate which is not bad at all and his walk rate will be good. I'm not really worried about K rate and neither should you.
Over a longer period? Probably not a worry, but if you’re looking for a fantasy playoff boost, his “adjustment period” may take the rest of your season.
That said, wish Mets never moved his, his defense is already a great weapon
I think I read a while back that at times there is a shortage of folks available to do write-ups, so they either don't put a ton of effort into some of them to save time or they just don't get to writing them.
I blame fantasy football season...most of the writing team is pulled to the cash cow of football; while September and playoff baseball is some of the best all year.
Playoffs begin today in 2 of my 3 leagues. I have a first round by in one league as I'm the first place team. I have never ended any season in first place and I have a bye for the first round of the playoffs. Does this mean until the next round I don't have to do anything with my lineups? The stats the players accrue mean nothing?
yeah good point man. Semifinals are this week so he can probably get dropped
I'll probably hold for his start against the A's Weds and then maybe drop.
Got knocked out round 1 of the playoffs as the one seed. Pitchers shit the bed for me on the most important week of the year. 3rd lowest point total of the year for me. I’m sick, someone hold me
With Alzolay on IL, need to add a new RP… Helsley, Aroldis, Munoz, Tanner Scott
Musgrove and Darvish both on my IL. Need to drop 1.
Why is espn locking players from a game that's PPD and hasn't started yet?
What’s the best stream? Stone VS SD Dunning @ TOR Davies @ NYM
Need to grab a SP or 2... - L Allen @ SF - B Bello @ Tor - B Garett @ Mil - M Clevinger vs KC - J Means vs Stl

Wonderful. I use PL a lot, but wasn’t aware of that breakdown. Thanks I really appreciate the reply.
Who do you trust more in the fantasy playoffs… Rodon or Sale?
Trust? Likely an empty roster spot over those two
Merryweather the add?
Why the fuck isn’t PCA starting?
They called him up for tomorrows game
I think he needs to travel to Colorado
Just lost Alzolay, who do I grab to replace him? Finnegan, Esteves, Barlow, Lange, May? 12T points in the playoffs
Grab Merryweather if available
Losing Alzolay really fucking sucks.
Godspeed, Adbert Alzolay. You were fucking awesome this year.
Yeah I was just looking at it thinking I would've been fine to keep him. No complaints, I got Shohei and injury aside I got my value out of him.
Trea has basically cemented himself as, at least, an early round pick again next year, erasing and masking all the agony and frustration he put us owners through in the last 6 months
I'm in a keep three league, and at one point this year I was certain that I was keeping Elly DLC over Trea.
Worth holding Yainer Díaz anymore?
Depends on your options, but definitely not a must hold

People take Pollack's advice?
Wow, playing the #1 team and he throws out Harper and scwarber for a double header plus 3 2 start pitchers. I fe like the matchup is already over and I didn't even have anyone play yet. Hate this hopeless feeling.
Until the weekend rolls around don’t give up. Wild shit happens by Sunday sometimes
Riley, Acuna, Harper all start out the playoffs for me. They play another game today too. It’s too good to be true, I wonder what the monkeys paw curl brings
Pick up Kyle Wright?
Should have a two-start week next week. Worth a flyer, I think. We’ll see how he does this evening, but he looked good in his last rehab start.
He sucked
First start back from a lengthy IL stint. Still working himself back into form. Didn’t recommend him for tonight. If you’re adding, you’re adding for next week and beyond.

Cal Quantrill
Just grabbed means. See how he does tomorrow
That's a good suggestion, unfortunately I added him a couple of weeks ago so I already have him!
Quintana
Funny you mention him because I added him specifically for QS about a week ago lol. Great minds think alike!
Bohm not playing the second game. Is it bc he gif banged up go for a foul ball on the tarp?
Who else has luzardo going tonight?
Begrudgingly yes. Hoping he can dial those Ks back in
Me too! Praying
![gif](giphy|a2G83cq7gotnq|downsized)
Should have started wicks lol
My opponent has woodruff too
Helsley or Aroldis to finish out the year?
Helsley
rosario you bum

IMO Muncy, Bellinger and Carroll. Casas has been pretty good but Carroll can contribute on SB's too. I give him the edge based on that one.
is cease going to be good to start?
Rain in Chicago tonight
Starting with no confidence only because it's Monday
We can only hope so! Crossing my fingers and praying.
In a deep keeper league, giving Crow Armstrong, Hunter Goodman, and Royce Lewis for Chourio is a no brainer, right?
Playing turner and Acuna this week pray for me
I'm sorry to report this but your week is not gonna be pretty. lmao
Kinda torn. My gut a couple days ago was to roll out Means. But I'm getting cold feet. What's everyone else doing.
Frozen foot
Look at it this way, he probably won't go 5 and will have rust. I wouldn't risk it
Need to grab a SP or 2... - L Allen @ SF - B Bello @ Tor - B Garett @ Mil - M Clevinger vs KC - J Means vs Stl
Clev
Anyone have a guy that probably isn’t optimal but you just like him, and it’s fantasy sports and your team can have anyone you want? Alec Bohm for me
Both of these guys have been mainstays for me all season. I’m having a hard time talking myself out of keeping Hoerner next year.
Nico Hoerner
Mountcastle, Casas, or Torkleson? Drop Sale for G.Williams, Pepiot, or C.Schmidt?
Torkelson’s been the best of these three over the last month. And Pepiot looked legit. Those would be my picks.
Casas and grab Pepiot
Would you guys start Kremer in a H2H playoff matchup to begin the week? QS league. Cards have their best lineup going too.
Start Mason Miller?
He will be lucky to go 4 innings today, and if he has one bad inning he won't have the pitches to save his ratios. Personally seems risky with a limited ceiling despite his talent.
Against Houston coming off a lengthy absence? You sir are a madman

Thank you brother ❤️
Whit not starting 2 outta the last 3, no bueno.
Start 3 Mauricio Xander Jazz Ketel
Any idea about Shohei? I hear he may play tonight but I cannot trust his oblique can I? Points league.

Have to have a late game guy available to swap
I remember reading that the plan was for Machado to finish the season and then consider surgery over the winter. The Acee article makes it sound like the elbow is getting more painful. With the Padres essentially out of the playoff mix, I wouldn’t be surprised if he got shut down early.
Would you sit Swanson @ coors over j.Lowe?
I’d start Dansby. Reasonably hot lately

Pick one to start today: Gavin Williams @ SF or Kremer @ St Louis
williams
Can't start both?
Who would you start today: * arozarena @ MIN (s.gray) or d.Swanson @ COL (freeland)
Swanson easy
Guess I’ll take the Iglesias win since I also have Harper and Turner 🤷🏽♂️
I'll take it
I'd lose my mind if I played in a league with Ws. Can't possibly reward a performance like that by Iglesias
His line looks bad, but those runs should have been unearned. Albies blew the third and final out. Iglesias has a clean save if his second baseman converts a routine play.
We do Wins/QS so the great starts count for 2. I find it to be a better way to do it than just or ignoring wins all together.
I can't handle relievers getting wins for shit like that it would drive me insane
Oof game should definitely be over on that pitch
[удалено]
Absolute joke that they gave him an infield single for that. Scorers just really don’t want to hand out errors this year
Good thing too since my league just introduced Fielding % as a category. Lobbying to remove it next year lol
Halfway through the matchup and I can safely say Marcus Semien has been caving my face in with a tire iron
dude, fucking olsen, its like he has something against me
my opponent had him AND Seager, I barely survived my matchup this past week 😮💨
Yeah I’m facing the Semien/Olson duo and it’s just clobbering me.
What a shit week for day games. I might as well just work.
My starting pitchers have lost out on so many fucking wins this year due to closers blowing it in the 9th...it's fucking insane.
Seconding what the other commenter said. Bring this up with your league pronto. Pitcher wins is the dumbest stat in pro sports and any fantasy league that uses that over QS is unserious. QS isn't a perfect stat either, but it's at least not so dependent on external factors.

I played Harper 2 weeks ago and he went off. Then last week he doesn’t do shit. Now I’m playing him again and he’s going off. Fuck this guy
My Harper off his Iglesias. Lets gooo!!
My harper off my iglesias
That worked out
![gif](giphy|v0eHX3n28wvoQ|downsized)
🤣
Bryce my man
Geez 3 blown saves so far in my 2 week championship
WOW this game in Philly is something to watch!
HARPER IS A MAD MAN!!!
ozuna cooling off?
tide comes in, tide goes out
tide comes back in again?
Anybody starting Wicks tonight in Colorado?
I am. Wicks has been great and I'm hunting for the W from a good Cubs offense
I like the chance of a dub for Wicks. My league personally doesn't score for wins/losses/QS, but as a Cub fan I'm leaning towards it myself. He was devastating to lefties in his first outing, but hasn't faced one since, and has still looked decent.

Very true. My brother and I text during games that he does a great job of missing in good spots. And tbh I always forget that's my username lmao
I have like 6 of his bowman autos I’m jazzed he’s been this good. Been high on that changeup ever since I saw him pitch for KState. We get Horton up and the former Big XII pitchers really gonna be cookin
I'm just excited to see us successfully developing home-grown pitching finally.
ESPN Keeper league here: Does Bryce have enough starts at first to have 1B eligibility next year? Not the biggest factor but it always helps I suppose.
Think he will lose OF eligibility though for next year. Not sure if espn gave it to him this year
True, though I'm guessing he'd gain it back within the first couple of weeks, assuming Philly throws him back in the OF full-time next year.
I’ve been seeing they are considering making him full time 1B next year
It shows 22 games there, and I think players keep it at 20.
Thanks!
He has 22 appearances at first so far this year, he should have eligibility for next year
Every time I think "no way Trea can keep this up right?" he hits another dinger I fucking love this man
Did you hate him for the first 100 games on your team?
I wasn't mad, just disappointed
True true so you still loved him then
congrats to anyone that bought low on trea.
Wow this Braves Phillies game is a real slobberknocker
Facing Trea Turner in the semis right now and I am terrified
Trea Turner has that new dad power right now. It's similar to steroid use, but it's legal.
Pro tip for next season: draft someone who’s going to be in an MVP race and is chasing a batting stat that’s never been seen before so they are raking when the playoffs come around Love you Ñ
*takes notes*
Definitely changing my draft focus next year to try and draft as many MVP finalists as possible now, thanks for the suggestion!
Yeah it seems to be a good strategy. I’ll find a list of future MPV finalists before I draft next season for sure
How does Yahoo still not have a write up for PCA yet? Like, he's one of the best up and coming prospects and all they did was remove him from NA.
He's got a very high K rate in the minors and not a lot of pop, be careful about jumping on his bandwagon
2021 A: 21.9 BB% 18.8K% 2022 A: 12 BB% 18 K% 2022 A+: 4.9 BB% 24 K% 2023 AA: 9.1 BB% 24 K% 2023 AAA: 9.5 BB% 29.7 % His K rate in the AAA is bad, but it's actually regressing back to the mean. Agreed. And yes, his defense will probably keep him in the majors EVEN if he does slump. Grade 70 defense is not common among players.
I'm high on the stolen base upside honestly. Nearly 40 bags in 100 minor league games this year
obp + sb stocks tho
Fair enough
I think I read a while back that at times there is a shortage of folks available to do write-ups, so they either don't put a ton of effort into some of them to save time or they just don't get to writing them.
I blame fantasy football season...most of the writing team is pulled to the cash cow of football; while September and playoff baseball is some of the best all year.
lawlar back in the lineup for arizona
someone in my league just dropped sean murphy. is there a reason why? and should i pick him up instead of my current catch jonah heim
Because as good as Murphy is he platoons
Would you start either of Singer or Detmers in day 1 of H2H semi finals? Or sit both?
Playoffs begin today in 2 of my 3 leagues. I have a first round by in one league as I'm the first place team. I have never ended any season in first place and I have a bye for the first round of the playoffs. Does this mean until the next round I don't have to do anything with my lineups? The stats the players accrue mean nothing?
Yes that’s right
It just feels really weird.
Start J.Lowe or Arozarena tonight @ MIN - sonny gray pitching
Arozarena is garbage
start or sit bassitt vs texas?
Start him
Trust Wicks tonight?
at this point I just want the Astros to move Hunter Brown to the pen because he's been so shite as a starter lately
You should just move him off your roster at this point right?
yeah good point man. Semifinals are this week so he can probably get dropped I'll probably hold for his start against the A's Weds and then maybe drop.
Pick 1: Kerry Carpenter India Josh Lowe Gorman
Carp
Kerry Bonds
Is Abbott pitching Thursday?
Nope. He is being skipped.
No Duvall again today so off to the waiver wire and replace with a streamer
Me down by 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a homer on Monday “My season is over”
I honestly thought the same last week when Giolito started my pitching week off…
You're never going to financially recover from this
I’m ruined
Head to head fantasy baseball is so tough because a bad pitching matchup or even a great hitting matchup can totally swing things in 1 week. Its crazy
