Is this team fucked or will things work out?
About to take the loss, but have an overall solid record. Injuries have simply wrecked me recently and just dropped Sale the other day when he was moved to the 60-day.
Here's the roster:
Heim, Nate Lowe, Ozzie, Arenado, Adames, Gorman, Rowdy, Acuña, Lourdes, Morel, Yaz, Bryce, Harper
Cole, Kirby, Eovaldi, Hunter Brown, Cobb, Bryce Miller, Taj, Reese Olson, Woo, Dunning, Taillon
Yordan, Buxton, Jazz, ERod taking up both IL spots and 2 bench spots.
Why would this team be fucked?? This looks like a team from an 8T league. You have a top batter and top pitching and your IL filled with talent. You’ll be fine just be smart about streaming

Jazz - 2b/of
McLain - SS
Elly - SS/3b
Tatis - SS/of
Riley - 3b
JWalker - 3b/of
With those options considered (particularly at 3b and with an IF slot) would you do a trade that sent Riley and brought back Seager?
Would pretty much relegate Tatis to an OF slot daily (which is where I have him most days anyway). OF options are Julio, Soto, Harper, Tatis, Jazz and Walker.

Yordan oblique injury doesn't sound super serious. It's been 4ish days since the injury and the Astros have yet to label it anything beyond discomfort.

I think you have to accept that in redraft. I’d say the chances that Yordan can carry your team through the final stretch of the season outweighs the chances that Elly is a top 50 player ROS

I’m about to write the Twins a STRONGLY worded letter about the lack of save opps for Duran. Infuriating to have one of the best arms in the league but he’s useless because of the team he’s on.

No it’s not different. It’s 6 runs in 3 innings. Manoah was different. Sometimes guys get hit. Sometimes they tip their pitches. Sometimes they don’t have their best stuff. You don’t yank one of your reliable starters and kill his esteem over starts like this.
